ՄԱՏԹԷՈՍ 23
1 Այն ժամանակ Յիսուս խօսեց ժողովրդին եւ իր աշակերտներին ու ասաց.
Then Yeshua [Salvation] spoke to the multitudes and to his disciples,
2 «Մովսէսի աթոռի վրայ նստեցին օրէնսգէտներն ու փարիսեցիները.
saying, “The Torah-Teachers and the Pharisees [Separated] sat on Moses [Drawn out]’ seat.
3 ամէն ինչ, որ նրանք ձեզ ասեն, արէ՛ք եւ պահեցէ՛ք, բայց մի՛ արէք ըստ նրանց գործերի, քանի որ ասում են, բայց չեն անում:
All things therefore whatever they tell you to observe, observe and do, but don’t do their works; for they say, and don’t do.
4 Ծանր ու դժուարակիր բեռներ են կապում եւ դնում մարդկանց ուսերի վրայ, բայց իրենց մատով անգամ չեն կամենում շարժել դրանք:
For they bind heavy burdens that are grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not lift a finger to help them.
5 Եւ իրենց բոլոր գործերն անում են՝ ի ցոյց մարդկանց. լայնացնում են իրենց գրապանակները եւ երկարացնում են իրենց զգեստների ծոպերը:
But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad, enlarge the tzitziyot ·tassles· of their garments,
6 Սիրում են ընթրիքների ժամանակ պատուոյ տեղերը, ժողովարաններում՝ նախապատիւ աթոռները եւ հրապարակներում ողջոյններ առնել
and phileo ·affectionately love, have high regard for· the place of honor at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues,
7 ու մարդկանցից կոչուել՝ ռաբբի, որ նշանակում է ուսուցիչ:
the salutations in the marketplaces, and to be called ‘Rabbi ·Teacher·' by men.
8 Բայց դուք որեւէ մէկին ուսուցիչ մի՛ կոչէք, որովհետեւ ձեր ուսուցիչը մէկ է, եւ դուք բոլորդ եղբայրներ էք:
But don’t you be called ‘Rabbi ·Teacher·,’ for one is your teacher, the Messiah [Anointed one], and all of you are brothers.
9 Եւ երկրի վրայ ոչ մէկին ձեզ հայր մի՛ կոչէք, որովհետեւ մէ՛կ է ձեր Հայրը, որ երկնքում է:
Call no man on the earth 'Avikah ·your Father·, for one is 'Avikah ·your Father·, he who is in heaven.
10 Եւ ուսուցիչներ չկոչուէք, որովհետեւ Քրիստոս է ձեր ուսուցիչը:
Neither be called masters, for one is your master, the Messiah [Anointed one].
11 Եւ ձեզնից մեծը ձեր սպասաւորը պիտի լինի:
But he who is greatest among you will be your servant.
12 Ով իր անձը բարձրացնում է, կը խոնարհուի. եւ ով խոնարհեցնում է իր անձը, կը բարձրանայ:
Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
13 Վա՜յ ձեզ կեղծաւորներիդ՝ օրէնսգէտներիդ եւ փարիսեցիներիդ, որ երկնքի արքայութիւնը փակում էք մարդկանց առաջ. դուք չէք մտնում եւ մտնողներին էլ թոյլ չէք տալիս, որ մտնեն:
“Woe to you, Torah-Teachers and Pharisees [Separated], hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and as a pretense you make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.
“But woe to you, Torah-Teachers and Pharisees [Separated], hypocrites! Because you shut up the Kingdom of Heaven (God) against men; for you don’t enter in yourselves, neither do you allow those who are entering in to enter.
15 Վա՜յ ձեզ կեղծաւորներիդ՝ օրէնսգէտներիդ եւ փարիսեցիներիդ, որ շրջում էք ծովի ու ցամաքի վրայ՝ անգամ մէկին նորահաւատ դարձնելու համար, եւ երբ նա այդպիսին է դառնում, նրան ձեզանից կրկնակի անգամ աւելի գեհենի որդի էք դարձնում: (Geenna g1067)
Woe to you, Torah-Teachers and Pharisees [Separated], hypocrites! For you travel around by sea and land to make one convert; and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much of a son of Gehenna (Place of fiery torment for the dead) as yourselves. (Geenna g1067)
16 Վա՜յ ձեզ, կո՛յր առաջնորդներ, որ ասում էք՝ ով որ երդուի տաճարի վրայ, այդ երդումը ոչինչ չի նշանակում. բայց ով որ երդուի տաճարի մէջ եղած ոսկու վրայ, պարտաւորւում է այն կատարել:
“Woe to you, you blind guides, who say, ‘Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obligated.’
17 Յիմարնե՛ր եւ կոյրե՛ր, ի՞նչն է մեծ՝ ոսկի՞ն, թէ՞ տաճարը, որ սրբացնում է ոսկին:
You blind fools! For which is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifies the gold?
18 Եւ՝ ով որ երդուի սեղանի վրայ, այդ երդումը ոչինչ չի նշանակում. բայց ով որ երդուի նրա վրայ գտնուող ընծայի վրայ, պարտաւորւում է այն կատարել:
‘Whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, he is obligated?’
19 Յիմարնե՛ր եւ կոյրե՛ր, ի՞նչն է մեծ՝ ընծա՞ն, թէ՞ սեղանը, որ սրբագործում է ընծան:
You blind fools! For which is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifies the gift?
20 Իսկ արդ, ով որ երդուեց սեղանի վրայ, երդուած կը լինի նրա վրայ եւ այն ամենի վրայ, որ սեղանի վրայ է:
He therefore who swears by the altar, swears by it, and by everything on it.
21 Եւ ով երդուեց տաճարի վրայ, երդուած կը լինի նրա եւ նրա մէջ բնակուող Աստծու վրայ:
He who swears by the temple, swears by it, and by him who was living in it.
22 Եւ ով երդուեց երկնքի վրայ, երդուած կը լինի Աստծու աթոռի եւ նրա վրայ նստողի վրայ:
He who swears by heaven, swears by the throne of God, and by him who sits on it.
23 Վա՜յ ձեզ կեղծաւորներիդ՝ օրէնսգէտներիդ եւ փարիսեցիներիդ, որ տալիս էք անանուխի եւ սամիթի ու չամանի տասանորդը, բայց թողել էք օրէնքի ամենից կարեւորները՝ արդարադատութիւնը, ողորմութիւնը եւ հաւատը. հարկ էր այս անել եւ այն չթողն»լ:
“Woe to you, Torah-Teachers and Pharisees [Separated], hypocrites! For you tithe mint, dill, and cumin, and have left undone the weightier matters of the Torah ·Teaching·: justice, eleos ·merciful compassion in action·, and faithfulness. These are the things you should have attended to, without neglecting the others!
24 Կո՛յր առաջնորդներ, որ մժղուկները քամում էք եւ ուղտերը կուլ էք տալիս:
You blind guides, who strain out a gnat, and swallow a camel!
25 Վա՜յ ձեզ կեղծաւորներիդ՝ օրէնսգէտներիդ եւ փարիսեցիներիդ, որ բաժակի ու պնակի դուրսը մաքրում էք, մինչ ներսից նրանք լի են ձեր գողութեամբ եւ անժուժկալութեամբ:
“Woe to you, Torah-Teachers and Pharisees [Separated], hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and unrighteousness.
26 Կո՛յր փարիսեցի, նախ մաքրի՛ր բաժակի եւ պնակի ներսը, որպէսզի դրանց դուրսն էլ մաքուր լինի:
You blind Pharisee [Separated], first clean the inside of the cup and of the platter, that its outside may become clean also.
27 Վա՜յ ձեզ կեղծաւորներիդ՝ օրէնսգէտներիդ եւ փարիսեցիներիդ, որ նման էք սպիտակեցրած գերեզմանների, որոնք դրսից գեղեցիկ են երեւում, մինչ ներսից լի են մեռելների ոսկորներով եւ ամենայն ապականութեամբ:
“Woe to you, Torah-Teachers and Pharisees [Separated], hypocrites! For you are like whitened tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but inwardly are full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.
28 Նոյնպէս եւ դուք, դրսից մարդկանց արդար էք երեւում, մինչ ներսից լի էք կեղծաւորութեամբ եւ անօրէնութեամբ:
Even so you also outwardly appear upright to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and far from Torah ·Teaching·.
29 Վա՜յ ձեզ կեղծաւորներիդ՝ օրէնսգէտներիդ եւ փարիսեցիներիդ, որ մարգարէների շիրիմներն էք շինում եւ արդարների գերեզմաններն էք զարդարում ու ասում էք.
“Woe to you, Torah-Teachers and Pharisees [Separated], hypocrites! For you build the tombs of the prophets, and decorate the tombs of the upright,
30 «Եթէ մենք մեր հայրերի օրօք լինէինք, մարգարէների սպանութեանը մասնակից չէինք լինի»:
and say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we wouldn’t have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.’
31 Ապա ուրեմն դուք ինքներդ ձեր մասին վկայում էք, թէ որդիներն էք նրանց, որոնք կոտորում էին մարգարէներին:
Therefore you testify to yourselves that you are children of those who killed the prophets.
32 Ուրեմն դուք էլ լրացրէ՛ք ձեր հայրերի արածը»:
Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers.
You serpents, you offspring of vipers, how will you escape the judgment of Gehenna (Place of fiery torment for the dead)? (Geenna g1067)
34 Դրա համար ահա ես ձեզ մօտ ուղարկում եմ մարգարէներ, իմաստուններ ու օրէնսգէտներ. նրանցից ոմանց դուք պիտի սպանէք եւ խաչը պիտի հանէք. նրանցից ոմանց էլ պիտի տանջէք ձեր ժողովարաններում ու քաղաքից քաղաք պիտի հալածէք,
Therefore behold, I send to you prophets, wise men, and Torah-Teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city;
35 որպէսզի ձեր վրայ ընկնի մեղքը երկրի վրայ թափուած ամէն արդար արեան՝ արդար Աբէլի արիւնից մինչեւ արիւնը Բարաքիայի որդի Զաքարիայի, որին սպանեցիք տաճարի եւ զոհասեղանի միջեւ:
that on you may come all the upright blood shed on the earth, from the blood of upright Abel [Vanity, Mourning] to the blood of Zachariah son of Barachiah, whom you murdered between the sanctuary and the altar.
36 Ճշմարիտ եմ ասում ձեզ, այս բոլորը պիտի գայ այս սերնդի վրայ»:
Most certainly I tell you, all these things will come upon this generation.
37 «Երուսաղէ՜մ, Երուսաղէ՜մ, որ կոտորում էիր մարգարէներին եւ քարկոծում էիր քեզ մօտ ուղարկուածներին. քանի՜ անգամ կամեցայ հաւաքել քո մանուկներին, ինչպէս հաւն է հաւաքում իր ձագերին թեւերի տակ, բայց չկամեցաք:
“Jerusalem [City of peace], Jerusalem [City of peace], who kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to her! How often I would have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not!
38 Ահա ձեր տունը աւերակ կը թողնուի ձեզ.
Behold, your house is left to you desolate.
39 բայց ձեզ ասում եմ, որ այսուհետեւ ինձ այլեւս չէք տեսնի, մինչեւ որ ասէք՝ օրհնեա՜լ է նա, որ գալիս է Տիրոջ անունով»:
For I tell you, you will not see me from now on, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of MarYah [Master Yahweh]!’”
