ՅՈՎՀԱՆՆՈԻ 4
1 Երբ Յիսուս իմացաւ, որ փարիսեցիները լսել են, թէ ինքն աւելի շատ աշակերտներ է դարձնում եւ մկրտում, քան Յովհաննէսը
Assone as the Lorde had knowledge how the Pharises had hearde that Iesus made and baptised moo disciples then Iohn
2 (թէպէտեւ ոչ թէ Յիսուս ինքն էր մկրտում, այլ՝ նրա աշակերտները),
(though that Iesus him selfe baptised not: but his disciples)
3 թողեց Հրէաստան երկիրը եւ վերստին եկաւ Գալիլիա:
he lefte Iewry and departed agayne into Galile.
4 Եւ անհրաժեշտ էր, որ նա անցնէր Սամարիայով:
And it was so that he must nedes goo thorowe Samaria.
5 Նա գալիս է Սամարիայի մի քաղաքը, որի անունն էր Սիւքար, մօտիկ այն գիւղին, որ Յակոբը տուել էր իր որդուն՝ Յովսէփին:
Then came he to a cyte of Samaria called Sichar besydes the possession that Iacob gave to his sonne Ioseph.
6 Եւ այնտեղ Յակոբի աղբիւրը կար: Եւ Յիսուս ճանապարհից յոգնած՝ նստեց աղբիւրի մօտ. կէսօր էր:
And there was Iacobs well. Iesus then weryed in his iorney sate thus on the well. And it was about the sixte houre:
7 Սամարիայից մի կին է գալիս ջուր հանելու. Յիսուս նրան ասում է.
and there came a woman of Samaria to drawe water. And Iesus sayde vnto her: geve me drynke.
8 «Ինձ խմելու ջուր տուր» (քանի որ նրա աշակերտները գնացել էին քաղաք, որպէսզի ուտելիք գնեն):
For his disciples were gone awaye vnto the toune to bye meate.
9 Սամարացի կինը նրան ասում է. «Դու, որ հրեայ ես, ինչպէ՞ս ինձնից՝ սամարացի կնոջից, խմելու ջուր ես ուզում» (որովհետեւ հրեաները սամարացիների հետ երբեք շփում չեն ունենում):
Then sayde the woman of Samaria vnto him: how is it that thou beinge a Iewe axest drinke of me which am a Samaritane? for the Iewes medle not with the Samaritans.
10 Յիսուս նրան պատասխանեց եւ ասաց. «Եթէ դու գիտենայի՜ր Աստծու պարգեւները, եւ թէ ով է, որ քեզ ասում է՝ «Ինձ խմելու ջուր տուր», գուցէ ինքդ արդարեւ նրանից կ՚ուզէիր, եւ նա քեզ կենդանի ջուր կը տար»:
Iesus answered and sayde vnto hir: yf thou knewest the gyfte of God and who it is that sayeth to the geve me drynke thou woldest have axed of him and he wolde have geven the water of lyfe.
11 Կինը նրան ասաց. «Տէ՛ր, սակայն դու դոյլ իսկ չունես, եւ այս ջրհորը խորն է. ուրեմն դու որտեղի՞ց կ՚ունենաս կենդանի ջուր:
The woman sayde vnto him. Syr thou hast no thinge to drawe with and the well is depe: from whence then hast thou yt water of lyfe?
12 Միթէ դու աւելի մե՞ծ մէկն ես, քան մեր հայրը՝ Յակոբը, որ այս ջրհորը մեզ տուել է եւ ինքն էլ խմել է սրանից. նաեւ՝ իր որդիներն ու իր հօտերը»:
Arte thou greater then oure father Iacob which gave vs the well and he him silfe dranke therof and his chyldren and his catell?
13 Յիսուս նրան պատասխանեց եւ ասաց. «Ով որ այս ջրից խմի, նորից կը ծարաւի,
Iesus answered and sayde vnto hir: whosoever drinketh of this water shall thurst agayne.
15 Կինը ասաց նրան. «Տէ՛ր, տո՛ւր ինձ այդ ջուրը, որպէսզի չծարաւեմ եւ այստեղ չգամ ջուր հանելու»:
The woma sayd vnto him: Syr geve me of that water that I thyrst not nether come hedder to drawe.
16 Յիսուս նրան ասաց. «Գնա՛, ամուսնուդ կանչի՛ր եւ արի՛ այստեղ»:
Iesus sayde vnto her. Go and call thy husband and come hydder.
17 Կինը պատասխան տուեց նրան եւ ասաց. «Ամուսին չունեմ»: Յիսուս նրան ասաց. «Լա՛ւ ասացիր, թէ՝ ամուսին չունեմ,
The woman answered and sayde to him: I have no husband.
18 որովհետեւ հինգ մարդ ես փոխել եւ ում հետ, որ այժմ ապրում ես, քո ամուսինը չէ. այդ ճիշտ ասացիր»:
Iesus sayde to her. Thou hast well sayd I have no husbande. For thou haste had five husbandes and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband. That saydest thou truely.
19 Կինը նրան ասաց. «Տէ՛ր, ինձ թւում է, թէ դու մարգարէ ես:
The woman sayde vnto him: Syr I perceave yt thou arte a prophet.
20 Մեր հայրերը այս լերան վրայ երկրպագութիւն արեցին, իսկ դուք ասում էք, թէ միայն Երուսաղէմն է այն տեղը, ուր արժան է երկրպագել»:
Oure fathers worshipped in this mountayne: and ye saye that in Hierusalem is the place where men ought to worshippe.
21 Յիսուս նրան ասաց. «Ո՛վ կին, հաւատա՛ ինձ, որ կը գայ ժամանակը, երբ ո՛չ այս լերան վրայ եւ ո՛չ էլ Երուսաղէմում կ՚երկրպագեն Հօրը:
Iesus sayde vnto her: woman beleve me the houre cometh when ye shall nether in this moutayne nor yet at Ierusalem worshippe the father.
22 Դուք երկրպագում էք նրան, ում չգիտէք, իսկ մենք երկրպագում ենք նրան, ում գիտենք, որովհետեւ փրկութիւնը հրեաներից է:
Ye worshippe ye wot not what: we knowe what we worshippe. For salvacion cometh of the Iewes.
23 Բայց կը գայ ժամանակը, եւ արդէն իսկ եկել է, երբ ճշմարիտ երկրպագուները կ՚երկրպագեն Հօրը հոգով եւ ճշմարտութեամբ, քանի որ Հայրն էլ իրեն այդպիսի երկրպագուներ է ուզում:
But the houre commeth and nowe is when the true worshippers shall worshippe the father in sprete and in trouthe. For verely suche the father requyreth to worshippe him.
24 Հոգի է Աստուած, եւ նրա երկրպագուները պէտք է հոգով եւ ճշմարտութեամբ երկրպագեն»:
God is a sprete and they that worshippe him must worshippe him in sprete and trouthe.
25 Կինը ասաց նրան. «Գիտեմ, որ Մեսիան՝ Քրիստոս կոչուածը, կը գայ. երբ նա գայ, մեզ ամէն ինչ կը պատմի»:
The woman sayde vnto him: I wot well Messias shall come which is called Christ. When he is come he will tell vs all thinges.
26 Յիսուս նրան ասաց. «Այդ ես եմ, որ խօսում եմ քեզ հետ»:
Iesus sayde vnto hir: I that speake vnto the am he.
27 Եւ այդ խօսքի վրայ նրա աշակերտները եկան եւ զարմանում էին, որ նա խօսում էր այդ կնոջ հետ, բայց նրանցից ոչ ոք չասաց, թէ՝ ի՞նչ ես ուզում կամ ի՞նչ ես խօսում նրա հետ:
And eve at that poynte came his disciples and marvelled that he talked with the woman. Yet no man sayde vnto him: what meanest thou or why talkest thou with her?
28 Կինը թողեց իր սափորը եւ քաղաք գնաց ու ասաց մարդկանց.
The woma then lefte her waterpot and went her waye into the cite and sayde to the men.
29 «Եկէք տեսէ՛ք մի մարդու, որ ինձ ասաց այն բոլորը, ինչ արել եմ. արդեօք նա՞ է Քրիստոսը»:
Come se a man which tolde me all thinges yt ever I dyd. Is not he Christ?
30 Նրանք ելան քաղաքից եւ գալիս էին նրա մօտ:
Then they went ont of the cite and came vnto him.
31 Եւ մինչ նրանք դեռ չէին եկել, աշակերտներն աղաչում էին նրան ու ասում. «Ռաբբի՛, հա՛ց կեր»:
And in ye meane while his disciples prayed him sayinge: Master eate.
32 Նա ասաց նրանց. «Ես ունեմ ուտելու կերակուր, որ դուք չգիտէք»:
He sayde vnto the: I have meate to eate that ye knowe not of.
33 Աշակերտները իրար մէջ ասում էին՝ արդեօք մէկը դրան ուտելու բա՞ն է բերել:
Then sayd ye disciples bitwene them selves: hath eny ma brought him meate?
34 Յիսուս նրանց ասաց. «Իմ կերակուրն այն է, որ կամքը կատարեմ նրա՛, ով ինձ ուղարկել է, եւ կատարեմ նրա գործը:
Iesus sayde vnto them: my meate is to doo the will of him that sent me. And to fynnysshe his worke.
35 Չէ՞ որ դուք էք ասում, թէ չորս ամիս եւս կայ, որ հունձը գայ. ահա ես ձեզ ասում եմ. բարձրացրէ՛ք ձեր աչքերը եւ տեսէ՛ք արտերը, որ սպիտակել են եւ հասել հնձի համար:
Saye not ye: there are yet foure monethes and then cometh harvest? Beholde I saye vnto you lyfte vp youre eyes and loke on ye regios: for they are whyte all redy vnto harvest.
36 Եւ ով հնձում է, վարձ է ստանում ու յաւիտենական կեանքի համար պտուղ է կուտակում, որպէսզի սերմանողն ու հնձողը հաւասարապէս ցնծան: (aiōnios g166)
And he ye repeth receaveth rewarde and gaddereth frute vnto life eternall: that bothe he that soweth and he yt repeth myght reioyse to gether. (aiōnios g166)
37 Հէնց սրանով է ճշմարիտ այն խօսքը, թէ՝ ա՛յլ է սերմանողը եւ ա՛յլ՝ հնձողը:
And herin is the sayinge true yt one soweth and another repeth.
38 Ես ուղարկեցի ձեզ հնձելու այն, որի վրայ աշխատանք չէիք թափել. ուրիշներ աշխատանք թափեցին, իսկ դուք նրանց վաստակի մէջ մտաք»:
I sent you to repe yt whero ye bestowed no laboure. Other men laboured and ye are entred into their labours.
39 Եւ սամարացիների այդ քաղաքից շատեր հաւատացին նրան այն կնոջ խօսքի համար, որ վկայեց, թէ՝ ինձ ասաց այն բոլորը, ինչ ես արել էի:
Many of the Samaritas of that cyte beleved on him for ye sayinge of the woma which testified: he tolde me all thinges yt ever I dyd.
40 Իսկ երբ սամարացիները նրա մօտ եկան, աղաչում էին, որ իրենց մօտ մնայ. եւ նա այնտեղ մնաց երկու օր:
Then when the Samaritas were come vnto him they besought him yt he wolde tary wt the. And he aboode there two dayes.
41 Ուրիշ շատեր էլ նրան հաւատացին՝ իր խօսքի համար.
And many moo beleved because of his awne wordes
42 եւ կնոջն ասում էին. «Այսուհետեւ քո խօսքերի համար չէ, որ հաւատում ենք, որովհետեւ մենք ինքներս լսեցինք նրանից եւ գիտենք, թէ նա՛ է ճշմարտապէս Փրկիչն աշխարհի»:
and sayd vnto the woman: Now we beleve not because of thy sayinge. For we have herde him oure selves and knowe that this is even in dede Christ the savioure of the worlde.
43 Եւ երկու օր յետոյ նա ելաւ այնտեղից եւ գնաց Գալիլիա.
After two dayes he departed thence and wet awaye into Galile.
44 քանի որ Յիսուս ինքն իսկ վկայել էր, թէ մարգարէն իր գաւառում պատիւ չունի:
And Iesus him selfe testified that a Prophete hath none honoure in his awne countre.
45 Սակայն, երբ նա Գալիլիա եկաւ, գալիլիացիները նրան ընդունեցին, որովհետեւ նրանք եւս տեսել էին այն բոլոր նշանները, որ նա արեց Երուսաղէմում՝ տօնի ժամանակ, քանի որ նրանք էլ էին եկել տօնին:
Then assone as he was come into Galile the Galileans receaved him which had sene all the thinges yt he dyd at Ierusalem at ye feast. For they wet also vnto ye feast daye.
46 Յիսուս դարձեալ եկաւ Գալիլիայի Կանա քաղաքը, ուր ջուրը գինու էր վերածել: Պալատական մի պաշտօնատար կար, որի որդին հիւանդ էր Կափառնայումում:
And Iesus came agayne into Cana of Galile wher he turned water into wyne. And ther was a certayne ruler whose sonne was sicke at Capernaum.
47 Երբ նա լսեց, թէ Յիսուս Հրէաստանից Գալիլիա է եկել, եկաւ նրա մօտ եւ աղաչում էր, որ Կափառնայում իջնի ու իր որդուն բժշկի, քանի որ մերձիմահ էր:
Assone as the same herde that Iesus was come out of Iewry into Galile he wet vnto him and besought him yt he wolde descende and heale his sonne: For he was eve readie to dye.
48 Յիսուս նրան ասաց. «Եթէ նշաններ եւ զարմանալի գործեր չտեսնէք, չէք հաւատում»:
Then sayde Iesus vnto him: excepte ye se signes and wodres ye canot beleve.
49 Պաշտօնատարը նրան ասաց. «Տէ՛ր, իջի՛ր, քանի դեռ իմ որդին չի մեռել»:
The ruler sayd vnto him: Syr come awaye or ever yt my chylde dye.
50 Յիսուս նրան ասաց. «Գնա՛, քո որդին կենդանի է»: Եւ մարդը հաւատաց Յիսուսի ասած խօսքին ու գնաց:
Iesus sayde vnto him goo thy waye thy sonne liveth. And the ma beleved ye wordes yt Iesus had spoke vnto him and wet his waye.
51 Եւ մինչդեռ նա իջնում էր, նրա ծառաները ընդառաջ ելան նրան, աւետիս տուեցին եւ ասացին, թէ նրա տղան կենդանի է:
And anone as he went on his waye his servantes met him and tolde him sayinge: thy chylde liveth.
52 Նա հարցրեց նրանց, թէ ո՞ր ժամին ապաքինուեց: Նրան ասացին. «Երէկ, յետմիջօրէի ժամը մէկին ջերմը նրան թողեց»:
Then enquyred he of the the houre when he begane to amende. And they sayde vnto him: Yester daye the sevethe houre the fever lefte him.
53 Հայրը գիտակցեց, որ այդ ժամին էր, երբ Յիսուս նրան ասաց՝ քո որդին կենդանի է: Եւ հաւատաց ինքը, ու իր ամբողջ ընտանիքը:
And the father knew that it was the same houre in which Iesus sayde vnto him: Thy sonne liveth. And he beleved and all his housholde.
54 Այս դարձեալ երկրորդ նշանն է, որ արեց Յիսուս՝ Հրէաստանից Գալիլիա գալուց յետոյ:
Thys is agayne the seconde myracle yt Iesus dyd after he was come oute of Iewry into Galile.
