ՅՈՎՀԱՆՆՈԻ 21
1 Սրանից յետոյ Յիսուս դարձեալ իրեն յայտնեց իր աշակերտներին Տիբերիայի ծովեզերքի մօտ. եւ յայտնեց այսպէս.
AFTER these things Jesus again shewed himself to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and he appeared in the following manner:
2 միասին էին Սիմոն Պետրոսը, Թովմասը՝ Երկուորեակ կոչուածը, Նաթանայէլը, որ Գալիլիայի Կանա քաղաքից էր, Զեբեդէոսի որդիները եւ աշակերտներից ուրիշ երկու հոգի:
Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, the twin, and Nathaniel who was of Cana of Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of the disciples were together.
3 Սիմոն Պետրոսը նրանց ասաց. «Գնում եմ ձուկ որսալու»: Նրան ասացին. «Մենք էլ ենք գալիս քեզ հետ»: Գնացին եւ նաւակը մտան. եւ այդ գիշեր ոչինչ չբռնեցին:
Simon Peter said to them, I am going a-fishing. They say to him, We too will go with thee. They went out, and got on board the vessel immediately; and that night they caught nothing.
4 Երբ առաւօտ եղաւ, Յիսուս կանգնած էր ծովի եզերքին. բայց աշակերտները չիմացան, որ Յիսուսն է:
But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood upon the beach: yet the disciples had not discovered that it was Jesus.
5 Յիսուս նրանց ասաց. «Տղանե՛ր, ուտելու բան չունէ՞ք»: Նրան պատասխանեցին՝ ո՛չ:
Then saith Jesus unto them, My youths, have ye any thing eatable? They answered him, No.
6 Նրանց ասաց. «Ուռկանը գցեցէ՛ք նաւակի աջ կողմը եւ կը գտնէք»: Գցեցին. եւ ձկների բազմութիւնից չէին կարողանում այն դուրս քաշել:
Then he said to them, Shoot the net on the right side of the vessel, and ye shall find fish. They shot it therefore, and now they were not able to drag it in from the quantity of fishes.
7 Այն աշակերտը, որին Յիսուս սիրում էր, Պետրոսին ասաց՝ Տէրն է: Երբ Սիմոն Պետրոսը լսեց, թէ Տէրն է, հագուստը վրան գցեց, քանի որ մերկ էր, եւ իրեն նետեց ծովի մէջ:
Then said that disciple whom Jesus loved to Peter, It is the Lord! Then Simon Peter, when he heard that it was the Lord, girt his coat round him, (for he was stripped, ) and threw himself into the sea.
8 Միւս աշակերտներն էլ նաւակով եկան. եւ քանի որ ցամաքից հեռու չէին, այլ երկու հարիւր կանգունի չափ միայն, քաշում էին ուռկանը ձկներով հանդերձ:
And the other disciples came in the little vessel, (for they were not far from land, only about two hundred cubits, ) dragging the net with the fishes.
9 Երբ ցամաք ելան, տեսան վառուած ածուխի մի կրակատեղ՝ մի ձուկ նրա վրայ եւ հաց:
When therefore they were come to land, they saw a fire laid, and a fish upon it, and a loaf.
10 Յիսուս նրանց ասաց. «Բերէ՛ք այն ձկներից, որ դուք հիմա որսացիք»:
Jesus saith to them, Bring some of the fish which ye have just caught.
11 Սիմոն Պետրոսը նաւակ մտաւ եւ ցամաք քաշեց ուռկանը, որ լիքն էր հարիւր յիսուներեք մեծ-մեծ ձկներով:
Simon Peter went aboard, and drew the net to land full of large fishes, to the number of a hundred and fifty-three: and though they were so many, yet was not the net rent.
12 Թէեւ այնչափ բան կար, բայց ուռկանը չպատռուեց:
Jesus saith to them, Come, dine. Now not one of the disciples dared inquire, Who art thou? conscious that it was the Lord.
13 Յիսուս նրանց ասաց՝ եկէք ճաշեցէ՛ք: Եւ աշակերտներից ոչ ոք չէր համարձակւում հարցնել, թէ՝ դու ո՞վ ես, որովհետեւ գիտէին, որ Տէրն է:
Then Jesus cometh, and taketh the loaf, and distributed to them, and of the fish in like manner.
14 Եկաւ Յիսուս, առաւ հացը եւ տուեց նրանց. նոյնպէս եւ ձուկը:
Now this was the third time Jesus had shewed himself to the disciples, after he rose from the dead.
15 Այս երրորդ անգամն էր, որ Յիսուս երեւաց իր աշակերտներին՝ մեռելներից յարութիւն առնելուց յետոյ:
When therefore they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith to him, Yes, Lord! thou knowest that I love thee. He saith to him, Feed my lambs.
16 Եւ երբ ճաշեցին, Յիսուս Սիմոն Պետրոսին ասաց. «Սիմո՛ն, որդի՛ Յովնանի, սիրո՞ւմ ես ինձ աւելի, քան դրանք»: Սա ասաց նրան. «Այո՛, Տէ՛ր, եւ դու գիտես, որ սիրում եմ քեզ»: Նրան ասաց՝ արածացրո՛ւ իմ գառներին:
He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith to him, Yes, Lord! thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
17 Դարձեալ ասաց նրան. «Սիմո՛ն, որդի՛ Յովնանի, սիրո՞ւմ ես ինձ»: Նա ասաց նրան. «Այո՛, Տէ՛ր, եւ դու գիտես, որ սիրում եմ քեզ»: Նրան ասաց՝ արածացրո՛ւ իմ ոչխարներին:
He saith to him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said to him, Lord, thou knowest all things, thou knowest that I love thee! Jesus saith to him, Feed my sheep.
18 Երրորդ անգամ նրան ասաց. «Սիմո՛ն, որդի՛ Յովնանի, սիրո՞ւմ ես ինձ»: Պետրոսը տխրեց, որ երրորդ անգամ իրեն ասաց, թէ՝ սիրո՞ւմ ես ինձ: Ու նրան պատասխանեց. «Տէ՛ր, դու ամէն ինչ գիտես. դու ինքդ ճանաչում ես բոլորին եւ գիտես, թէ սիրում »մ ք»զ»: Յիսուս նրան ասաց. «Արածացրո՛ւ իմ ոչխարն»րին:
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast a younger man, thou didst gird up thyself, and go about whithersoever thy choice led thee: but when thou shalt grow old, another person extending thy hands, shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.
19 Ճշմարիտ, ճշմարիտ եմ ասում քեզ, որ մինչ դու երիտասարդ էիր, ինքդ էիր գօտիդ կապում եւ գնում էիր՝ ուր եւ կամենում էիր. սակայն երբ ծերանաս, ձեռքերդ վեր կը բարձրացնես, եւ ուրիշները քեզ գօտի կը կապեն ու կը տանեն՝ ուր չես կամ»նայ»:
This he told him, to intimate by what kind of death he should glorify God. And having thus spoken, he said to him, Follow me.
20 Այս ասաց, նշելով, թէ ինչ մահով նա պիտի փառաւորի Աստծուն: Եւ երբ այս ասաց, աւելացրեց՝ արի՛ իմ յետեւից:
Now Peter, turning about, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following; who also at the supper reclined on his bosom, and said, Lord, which is the person who betrayeth thee?
21 Պետրոսը դարձաւ եւ տեսաւ, որ այն աշակերտը, ում Յիսուս սիրում էր, գալիս է յետեւից. նա, որ ընկել էր նրա կրծքովն ու ասել. «Տէ՛ր, ո՞վ է, որ մատնելու է քեզ»:
Peter looking at him, saith to Jesus, Lord, and what will become of this man?
22 Պետրոսը, նրան տեսնելով, ասաց Յիսուսին. «Տէ՛ր, իսկ սա ի՞նչ կը լինի»:
Jesus saith to him, If I will that he abide till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.
23 Յիսուս նրան ասաց. «Եթէ ես կամենում եմ, որ դա ապրի, մինչեւ որ ես գամ, այդ քեզ ի՞նչ հոգ, դու արի՛ իմ յետեւից»:
Then this speech went forth among the disciples, as though this disciple was not to die: yet Jesus had not said to him, That he shall not die; but, If I will that he abide till I come, what is that to thee?
24 Եւ այս խօսքը տարածուեց եղբայրների մէջ. եւ կարծեցին, թէ այն աշակերտը չպիտի մեռնի: Բայց Յիսուս նրան չասաց, թէ չպիտի մեռնի, այլ թէ՝ ես կամենում եմ, որ դա ապրի, մինչեւ որ ես գամ:
This is the disciple who is testifing of these things, and hath written these things: and we know that his testimony is true.
25 Այս աշակերտն է, որ վկայում է այս բաների մասին, որ եւ գրեց իսկ դրանք. եւ գիտենք, որ նրա վկայութիւնը ճշմարիտ է: Բայց ուրիշ շատ բաներ էլ կան, որ Յիսուս արեց, որոնք, եթէ մէկը մէկ առ մէկ գրած լինէր, կարծում եմ, թէ աշխարհն իսկ բաւական չէր լինի պարփակելու այդ գրքերը, եթէ դրանք գրուած լինէին:
And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if every particular was written, I am of opinion that the world itself would not be capable of retaining the books which should be written. Amen.
