ՅՈՎՀԱՆՆՈԻ 14
1 Ապա Յիսուս ասաց իր աշակերտներին. «Թող ձեր սրտերը չխռովուեն. հաւատացէ՛ք Աստծուն, հաւատացէ՛ք եւ ինձ:
“Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me.
2 Իմ Հօր տան մէջ բազում օթեւաններ կան. թէ չէ ես ձեզ կ՚ասէի, թէ գնում եմ ձեզ համար էլ տեղ պատրաստելու.
In 'Avi ·my Father·’s house are many homes. If it was not so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.
3 եւ եթէ գնամ եւ ձեզ համար էլ տեղ պատրաստեմ, դարձեալ կը գամ եւ ձեզ կը վերցնեմ ինձ մօտ, որպէսզի, ուր ես լինեմ, դուք եւս այնտեղ լինէք:
If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also.
4 Եւ թէ ուր եմ գնում, այդ գիտէք, գիտէք եւ ճանապարհը»:
Where I go, you know, and you know the way.”
5 Թովմասը նրան ասաց. «Տէ՛ր, չգիտենք՝ ուր ես գնում, ուրեմն ինչպէ՞ս կարող ենք գիտենալ ճանապարհը»:
Thomas [Seeker of truth] said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going. How can we know the way?”
6 Յիսուս նրանց ասաց. «Ես եմ Ճանապարհը եւ Ճշմարտութիւնը եւ Կեանքը: Ոչ ոք չի գայ Հօր մօտ, եթէ ոչ՝ ինձանով:
Yeshua [Salvation] said to him, “Ena Na [I AM (the Living God)] the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to haAbba ·the Father·, except through me.
7 Եթէ ինձ ճանաչէիք, ապա կը ճանաչէիք եւ իմ Հօրը. այսուհետեւ կը ճանաչէք նրան. եւ տեսել էք նրան»:
If you had known me, you would have known 'Avi ·my Father· also. From now on, you know him, and have seen him.”
8 Փիլիպպոսն ասաց նրան. «Տէ՛ր, Հօրը մեզ ցո՛յց տուր, եւ այդ բաւական է մեզ»:
Philip [Loves horses] said to him, “Lord, show us haAbba ·the Father·, and that will be enough for us.”
9 Յիսուս նրան ասաց. «Այսքան ժամանակ ձեզ հետ եմ, Փիլիպպո՛ս, եւ ինձ չճանաչեցի՞ր. ով ինձ տեսաւ, տեսաւ Հօրը. իսկ դու ինչպէ՞ս ես ասում, թէ՝ Հօրը մեզ ցո՛յց տուր:
Yeshua [Salvation] said to him, “Have I been with you such a long time, and do you not know me, Philip [Loves horses]? He who has seen me has seen haAbba ·the Father·. How do you say, ‘Show us haAbba ·the Father·?’
10 Չե՞ս հաւատում, որ ես Հօր մէջ եմ, եւ Հայրը՝ իմ մէջ: Այն խօսքերը, որ ես ասում եմ ձեզ, ինքս ինձնից չեմ խօսում, այլ Հայրը, որ բնակւում է իմ մէջ, նա՛ է անում գործերը:
Don’t you believe that I am in haAbba ·the Father·, and haAbba ·the Father· in me? The words that I tell you, I speak not from myself; but haAbba ·the Father· who lives in me does his works.
11 Հաւատացէ՛ք ինձ, որ ես Հօր մէջ եմ, եւ Հայրը՝ իմ մէջ. եթէ ոչ՝ գոնէ գործերի՛ համար հաւատացէք ինձ:
Believe me that I am in haAbba ·the Father·, and haAbba ·the Father· in me; or else believe me for the very works’ sake.
12 Ճշմարիտ, ճշմարիտ եմ ասում ձեզ, թէ ով հաւատում է ինձ, ինքն էլ կ՚անի այն գործերը, որ ես եմ անում. եւ դրանցից աւելի մեծերը կ՚անի, որովհետեւ ես գնում եմ Հօր մօտ:
Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to 'Avi ·my Father·.
13 Եւ ինչ որ ուզէք իմ անունով, այն կ՚անեմ, որպէսզի Հայրը փառաւորուի Որդու միջոցով»:
Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that haAbba ·the Father· may be glorified in the Son.
If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
15 «Եթէ ինձ սիրում էք, կը պահէք իմ պատուիրանները.
If you have agapao ·totally devoted love· for me, keep my commandments.
16 եւ ես պիտի աղաչեմ Հօրը, եւ նա մի այլ Մխիթարիչ պիտի տայ ձեզ, որպէսզի յաւիտեան ձեզ հետ բնակուի. (aiōn g165)
I will pray to haAbba ·the Father·, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever, (aiōn g165)
17 Ճշմարտութեան Հոգին, որին այս աշխարհը չի կարող ընդունել, որովհետեւ նրան չի տեսնում եւ նրան չի ճանաչում, բայց դուք ճանաչում էք նրան, որովհետեւ ձեզ մօտ պիտի բնակուի եւ ձեր մէջ պիտի լինի:
haRuach [the Spirit] of truth, whom the world can’t receive; for it does not see him, neither knows him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you.
18 Ձեզ որբ չեմ թողնի, կը գամ ձեզ մօտ:
I will not leave you orphans. I am coming to you.
19 Մի փոքր ժամանակ եւս, եւ այս աշխարհը ինձ չի տեսնի, բայց դուք ինձ կը տեսնէք, որովհետեւ ես կենդանի եմ, եւ դուք կենդանի էք լինելու:
Yet a little while, and the world will see me no more; but you will see me. Because I live, you will live also.
20 Այն օրը դուք պիտի իմանաք, որ ես իմ Հօր մէջ եմ, եւ դուք՝ իմ մէջ. ու ես՝ ձեր մէջ:
In that day you will know that I am in 'Avi ·my Father·, and you in me, and I in you.
21 Ով իմ պատուիրաններն ընդունում եւ դրանք պահում է, նա՛ է, որ ինձ սիրում է. եւ ով ինձ սիրում է, պիտի սիրուի իմ Հօրից. ես էլ նրան պիտի սիրեմ եւ ինձ պիտի յայտնեմ նրան»:
One who has my commandments, and keeps them, that person is one who has agapao ·totally devoted love· for me. One who has agapao ·total devotion love· for me will receive agapao ·total devotion love· from 'Avi ·my Father·, and I will have agapao ·totally devoted love· for him, and will reveal myself to him.”
22 Յուդան (ոչ Իսկարիովտացին) ասաց նրան. «Տէ՛ր, ինչպէ՞ս եղաւ, որ քեզ պիտի յայտնես մեզ եւ ոչ թէ աշխարհին»:
Judas [Praised] (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, what has happened that you are about to reveal yourself to us, and not to the world?”
23 Յիսուս պատասխանեց եւ ասաց նրան. «Եթէ մէկը սիրում է ինձ, իմ խօսքը կը պահի, եւ իմ Հայրը նրան կը սիրի. եւ մենք նրա մօտ կը գանք ու նրա մօտ կ՚օթեւանենք:
Yeshua [Salvation] answered him, “If a man has agapao ·total devotion love· for me, he will keep my word. 'Avi [My Father] will have agapao ·total devoted love· for him, and we will come to him, and make our home with him.
24 Եւ ով ինձ չի սիրում, իմ խօսքերը չի պահում. եւ իմ խօսքը, որ լսում էք, իմը չէ, այլ՝ Հօրը, որ ինձ ուղարկեց:
He who does not have agapao ·total devotion love· for me does not keep my words. The word which you hear is not mine, but from haAbba ·the Father· who sent me.
25 Այս բաները ասացի ձեզ, մինչ ձեզ հետ եմ:
I have said these things to you, while still living with you.
26 Իսկ Մխիթարիչը՝ Սուրբ Հոգին, որին Հայրը կ՚ուղարկի իմ անունով, նա ձեզ ամէն բան կ՚ուսուցանի եւ ձեզ կը յիշեցնի այն ամէնը, ինչ ես ասացի ձեզ»:
But the Counselor, Ruach haKodesh [Spirit of the Holiness], whom Abba ·Father familiar, Dear Dad· will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.
27 «Խաղաղութիւն եմ թողնում ձեզ, իմ խաղաղութիւնն եմ տալիս ձեզ. ձեզ չեմ տալիս այնպէս, ինչպէս այս աշխարհն է տալիս. ձեր սրտերը թող չխռովուեն, եւ չվախենաք:
Shalom ·Complete peace· I leave with you. I am giving you my shalom ·complete peace·; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.
28 Լսեցիք, որ ձեզ ասացի, թէ՝ գնում եմ եւ կը գամ ձեզ մօտ. եթէ ինձ սիրէիք, ապա դուք ուրախ պիտի լինէիք, որ ես Հօր մօտ եմ գնում, որովհետեւ իմ Հայրը մեծ է, քան ես:
You heard how I told you, ‘I go away, and I come to you.’ If you have agapao ·total devotion love· for me, you would have rejoiced, because I said ‘I am going to 'Avi ·my Father·;’ for Abba ·Father familiar, Dear Dad· is greater than I.
29 Եւ հիմա ասացի ձեզ, երբ դեռ չի եղել, որպէսզի, երբ լինի, հաւատաք:
Now I have told you before it happens so that, when it happens, you may believe.
30 Այլեւս երկար չեմ խօսի ձեզ հետ. գալիս է աշխարհի իշխանը եւ իմ վրայ ոչ մի իշխանութիւն չունի:
I will no more speak much with you, for the prince of the world comes, and he has nothing in me.
31 Իսկ որպէսզի աշխարհը գիտենայ, որ ես սիրում եմ Հօրը, այնպէս եմ անում, ինչպէս որ Հայրը պատուիրեց ինձ. դե՛հ, վե՛ր կացէք գնանք այստեղից»:
But that the world may know that I have agapao ·total devotion love· for haAbba ·the Father·, I do as haAbba ·the Father· enjoined me. Arise, let us go from here.
