ԾՆՆԴՈՑ 49
1 Յակոբը կանչեց իր որդիներին ու ասաց. «Հաւաքուեցէ՛ք, որ ձեզ յայտնեմ այն, ինչ պատահելու է ձեզ հետագայում:
Then called Jacob unto his sons, —and said—Gather yourselves together, and let me tell you, that which shall befall you in the afterpart of the days.
2 Հաւաքուեցէ՛ք եւ լսեցէ՛ք, Յակոբի որդիներ, լսեցէ՛ք ձեր հայր Իսրայէլին:
Assemble yourselves and hear ye sons of Jacob, —And hearken unto Israel your father!
3 Ռուբէ՛ն, իմ անդրանիկ որդի, իմ զօրութիւն ու իմ որդիների սկիզբ. դու ինձ հետ խիստ վարուեցիր եւ մեծ յանդգնութեամբ կշտամբեցիր ինձ:
Reuben, my first-born, thou, My vigour, and the first-fruit of my strength, —Pre-eminence of elevation and pre-eminence of power:
4 Ջրի նման մի՛ եռա, քանզի մտել ես մահիճը քո հօրու պղծել այնժամ մահիճը նրա:
Boiling over like water, thou mayest not have pre-eminence, Because thou didst mount the bed of thy father, —Then, wast thou profane—My marriage-bed, he mounted!
5 Եղբայրներ Շմաւոնն ու Ղեւինանիրաւութիւն գործեցին կամովին:
Simeon and Levi, are brethren, —Instruments of violence, are their agreements:
6 Խորհրդին նրանց մասնակից չի լինի անձն իմ.նրանց դաւին յօժար չէ սիրտն իմ. ցասումով իրենց մարդ սպանեցինհաճոյքի համար ջլակոտոր արեցին ցուլեր:
Into their circle, do not thou enter my soul! In their convocation, do not thou join mine honour! For in their anger, they slew brave men, And in their wantonness, they ham-strung oxen.
7 Անիծեալ լինի ցասումը նրանց, քանզի յանդուգն էր. անիծուի նրանց ոխն ու մոլուցքը, քանզի սաստիկ էր: Կը բաժանեմ ես նրանց Յակոբի մէջ, կը ցրեմ նրանց Իսրայէլի մէջ:
Accursed, be their anger, because fierce, And their wrath because cruel, —I divide them in Jacob, And I disperse them in Israel.
8 Յուդա՛, քեզ կ՚օրհնեն եղբայրները քո.ձեռքը քո կ՚իջնի թիկունքի վրայ թշնամիներիդ: Հօրդ որդիներն գլուխ խոնարհեն պիտի քո առաջ:
Judah, as for thee, thy brethren shall praise thee when thy hand is on the neck of thy foes, —The sons of thy father, shall bow them-selves down to thee:
9 Յուդա՛, կորի՛ւն առիւծի, իմ շառաւիղից ելար, որդեա՛կ իմ, Ելար, բազմեցիր, ննջեցիր դու որպէս առիւծ, որպէս կորիւն առիւծի: Ո՞վ պիտի արդեօք արթնացնի նրան:
A lion’s whelp, is Judah, From the prey, my son hast thou come up! He hath stooped—hath crouched As a lion—or as a lioness, Who shall rouse him?
10 Յուդայից իշխան չի պակասելու, ոչ էլ առաջնորդ՝ նրա կողերից, մինչեւ որ գայ նա, ում պատկանում են հանդերձեալները: Նրա՛ն են սպասում ժողովուրդները:
The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, Nor the commander’s staff from between his feet, —Until that he come in as a Shiloh, And, his, be the obedience of the peoples:
11 Իր աւանակին կը կապի որթից, իսկ որթի ոստից՝ էշի քուռակին: Իր պատմուճանը կը լուայ գինովեւ իր հագուստը՝ խաղողի արեամբ:
Binding, to the vine, his ass, And to the choice vine his ass’s colt, He hath washed in wine his raiment, And in the blood of grapes, his mantle:
12 Գինուց զուարթ են աչքերը նրա, իսկ ատամներն սպիտակ՝ կաթից աւելի:
Darker—his eyes, than wine, —Whiter—his teeth than milk!
13 Զաբուղոնը կը բնակուի ծովի եզերքին, որպէս նաւերի նա նաւահանգիստու կը տարածուի նա մինչեւ Սիդոն:
Zebulon, by a haven of seas, shall he settle down, —Even he, by a haven of ships, With his utmost part upon Zidon.
14 Իսաքարը բարուն ցանկացաւ եւ հանգիստ ապրեց իր տարածքներում:
Issachar, an ass of strength, —couching between the pens;
15 Տեսնելով, որ հանգիստը լաւ է, հողը՝ բարեբեր, ուսերը դրեց աշխատանքի տակու դարձաւ բարիք ստեղծող մի մարդ:
Then beholdeth he rest, that it is good, And the ground that it is pleasant, —So he bendeth his shoulder to bear, And becometh a tributary servant.
16 Դանը կը դատի իր ժողովրդին Իսրայէլի մէջ մէկ մարդու նման.
Dan, shall vindicate his people, —as one of the tribes of Israel;
17 Դանը թող լինի օձ դարանակալ ճանապարհի վրայ՝խայթելու համար ձիու գարշապարն ու ցած գցելու հեծեալին նրա:
It cometh to pass that, Dan, is a serpent upon the way, A horned viper, upon the path, —That biteth the heels of the horse, And his rider falleth backwards: —
18 Մնա՜լ, սպասե՜լ Տիրոջ փրկութեան:
For thy salvation, have I waited O Yahweh!
19 Գադն աւազակների ծուղակը կ՚ընկնիեւ ինքն էլ, սակայն, կը հետապնդի աւազակներին:
Gad! a troop shall troop on him, —But, he, shall troop on the rear.
20 Ասերի հացը առատ կը լինի, իշխաններին էլ նա պարէն կը տայ:
Out of Asher, fatness, is his food, —So, he, setteth forth dainties for a king.
21 Նեփթաղիմը բարձրուղէշ ծառ է, որ իր բազում ճիւղերով գեղեցկութիւն է սփռում:
Naphtali, is a slender hind, —That putteth forth antlers of beauty.
22 Փառքի բարձրացած որդեա՛կ իմ Յովսէփ, որդեա՛կ իմ՝ դարձած դու նախանձելի, դարձի՛ր դու ինձ մօտ, որդեա՛կ իմ մատաղ, բանսարկուները բամբասում էին, դատափետում քեզ:
A fruitful bough, is Joseph, A fruitful bough over a fountain, —Branches creeping over a wall.
23 Նրա դէմ ոխով բորբոքւում էին աղեղնաւորներ:
So they attack him and have shot, —So they enclose him, do the masters of arrows.
24 Փշրուեցին զօրութեամբ աղեղները նրանց, ու թուլացան ջլերը նրանց բազուկներիՅակոբի հզօր Աստծու ձեռքով,
But abideth, as an enduring one, his bow, And supple are the arms of his hands, —From the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, From thence, is the Shepherd the Stone of Israel:
25 նրա՛ կողմից, ով զօրացրեց Իսրայէլին՝Աստծուց քո հօր: Եւ քեզ օգնեց Աստուածն իմ, նա օրհնեց քեզ ի վերուստ օրհնութեամբ մի երկնային, ամէն ինչով լի երկրի օրհնութեամբեւ օրհնեց նաեւ ստինք ու արգանդ:
From the GOD of thy father who doth help thee And GOD Almighty who doth bless thee, Blessings of the heavens, above, Blessings of the abyss, couching beneath, —Blessings of breasts and womb:
26 Քո հօր օրհնութիւնն ու մօր օրհնութիւննառաւել ուժեղ, քան օրհնանքը յաւերժական լեռների, քան օրհնանքը յաւիտենական բլուրների, իջնի թող գլխի վրայ Յովսէփի ու գլխին նրա եղբայրների, որոնց առաջնորդեց նա:
The blessings of thy father, have prevailed, Over the blessings of the perpetual mountains, The charm of the age-abiding hills, —They turn out to be, for the head of Joseph, And for the crown of the head of him who was set apart from his brethren.
27 Բենիամի՛ն՝ յափշտակող գա՛յլ, առաւօտեան իր որսն ուտող, երեկոյեան պատառ բաշխող»:
Benjamin a wolf that teareth in pieces, In the morning, he eateth prey, And at eventide, he divideth spoil.
28 Այս բոլորը՝ Յակոբի որդիները, տասներկու ցեղերն են: Սա է ահա, ինչ որ խօսեց նրանց հայրը իրենց հետ: Նա իւրաքանչիւրին օրհնեց իրեն արժանի օրհնութեամբ:
All these, are the twelve tribes of Israel, —And this, is that which their father spake to them when he blessed them, Each man severally according to the blessing wherewith he blessed them.
29 Նա պատուիրեց նրանց՝ ասելով. «Ես գնում եմ իմ նախնիների գիրկը: Ինձ թաղեցէ՛ք իմ նախնիների մօտ, այն քարայրում, որ քետացի Եփրոնի ագարակում է, այն զոյգ քարայրում, որ այդ դաշտում է,
Then commanded he them and said unto them—I, am about to be gathered unto my people, Bury me among my fathers, —within the cave, that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite:
30 Մամբրէի կաղնու դիմաց, Քանանացիների երկրում: Այդ քարայրը Աբրահամը գնել էր քետացի Եփրոնից իբրեւ սեփական շիրմավայր:
in the cave that is in the field of Machpelah which is over against Mamre, in the land of Canaan, —which Abraham bought, along with the field, from Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a buryingplace: —
31 Այնտեղ են թաղել Աբրահամին ու նրա կնոջը՝ Սառային: Այնտեղ են թաղել Իսահակին ու նրա կնոջը՝ Ռեբեկային: Այնտեղ են թաղել Լիային.
There, buried they Abraham, and Sarah his wife, There, buried they Isaac, and Rebekah his wife, —And there, buried I Leah: —
32 սա ագարակի եւ նրա մէջ գտնուող քարայրի այն կալուածքն է, որ գնուեց Քետի որդիներից:
buying the field and the cave that is therein, from the sons of Heth.
33 Յակոբը դադարեց իր որդիներին պատուիրան տալուց, ոտքերը յետ բերեց մահիճի մէջ, մեռաւ եւ գնաց իր նախնիների գիրկը:
So Jacob made an end of commanding his sons, and gathered up his feet into the couch, —and ceased to breathe and was gathered unto his people.
