ԾՆՆԴՈՑ 39

1 Յովսէփին տարան Եգիպտոս: Ոմն եգիպտացի՝ փարաւոնի ներքինի դահճապետ Պետափրէսը, նրան գնեց նրան Եգիպտոս տարած իսմայէլացիներից:

And Joseph he had been brought down Egypt towards and he bought him Potiphar [the] official of Pharaoh [the] commander of the bodyguards a man an Egyptian from [the] hand of the Ishmaelites who they had brought down him there towards.

2 Տէրը Յովսէփի հետ էր, նրա գործերը բարեյաջող էին, եւ նա մնաց իր տիրոջ տանը՝ Եգիպտոսում:

And he was Yahweh with Joseph and he was a man successful and he was in [the] house of master his the Egyptian.

3 Երբ իր տէրը տեսաւ, որ Տէրը նրա հետ է, եւ ինչ էլ որ ինքն անում է, Տէրը յաջողութիւն է տալիս նրան, Յովսէփը շնորհ գտաւ տիրոջ առաջ, քանի որ հաճելի էր եղել նրան:

And he saw master his that Yahweh [was] with him and all that he [was] doing Yahweh [was] making successful in hand his.

4 Դրա համար էլ նա նրան իր տան վերակացու կարգեց եւ իր ողջ ունեցուածքը վստահեց Յովսէփին: Երբ տէրը նրան իր տան եւ իր ունեցած ամէն ինչին վերակացու կարգեց,

And he found Joseph favor in eyes his and he served him and he appointed him over household his and all [that] there [belonged] to him he gave in hand his.

5 Աստուած Յովսէփի համար օրհնեց եգիպտացու տունը, եւ այդ օրհնութիւնը տարածուեց նրա տանն ու դաշտում եղած ամբողջ ունեցուածքի վրայ: Այն ամէնն, ինչ տէրն ունէր, թողեց Յովսէփի տնօրինութեանը:

And it was from then he appointed him in household his and over all that there [belonged] to him and he blessed Yahweh [the] household of the Egyptian on account of Joseph and it was [the] blessing of Yahweh on all that there [belonged] to him in the house and in the field.

6 Պետափրէսը չգիտէր, թէ ինչ կայ իր տանը, բացի իր կերած հացից: Յովսէփը դէմքով շատ գեղեցիկ էր ու վայելչակազմ:

And he left all that [belonged] to him in [the] hand of Joseph and not he knew with him anything that except the food which he [was] eating and he was Joseph handsome of form and handsome of appearance.

7 Այս բոլորից յետոյ նրա տիրոջ կինն իր աչքը գցեց Յովսէփի վրայ ու ասաց նրան. «Պառկի՛ր ինձ հետ»:

And it was after the things these and she lifted up [the] wife of master his eyes her to Joseph and she said lie! with me.

8 Բայց նա մերժեց՝ իր տիրոջ կնոջն ասելով, թէ՝ «Եթէ իմ տէրը իր տան ողջ ունեցուածքը վստահել է ինձ,

And he refused - and he said to [the] wife of master his here! lord my not he knows with me what? [is] in the house and all that there [belongs] to him he has given in hand my.

9 եւ այս տանը ինձնից աւելի մեծ մարդ չկայ, ու ինձ ոչինչ չի արգելուած, քեզնից բացի, որովհետեւ նրա կինն ես, ապա ես ինչպէ՞ս կարող եմ անել այդ չար ու սոսկալի բանը եւ մեղանչել Աստծու առաջ»:

Not [is] he great in the household this more than me and not he has withheld from me anything that except you in that you [are] wife his and how? will I do the evil great this and I will sin to God.

10 Թէեւ նա ամէն օր այդ մասին էր խօսում Յովսէփի հետ, բայց Յովսէփը չէր համաձայնում պառկել նրա հետ, ոչ իսկ մօտենալ նրան:

And it was when spoke she to Joseph day - day and not he listened to her to lie beside her to be with her.

11 Այնպէս պատահեց, որ մի օր Յովսէփը իր ինչ-որ գործով տուն մտաւ: Ընտանիքի անդամներից ոչ ոք չկար տանը:

And it was when the day this and he went the house towards to do work his and not anyone from [the] men of the house [was] there in the house.

12 Կինը բռնեց նրա շորերից ու ասաց. «Պառկի՛ր ինձ հետ»: Յովսէփը թողնելով իր շորերը նրա ձեռքում՝ դուրս փախաւ:

And she seized him by clothing his saying lie! with me and he left clothing his in hand her and he fled and he went out the outside towards.

13 Երբ կինը տեսաւ, որ նա շորերը իր ձեռքում թողած դուրս է փախել, տան անդամներին կանչելով՝ ասաց.

And it was when saw she that he had left clothing his in hand her and he had fled the outside towards.

14 «Տեսէ՛ք, ամուսինս եբրայեցի ծառայ բերեց տուն, որ մեզ խայտառակ անի: Նա, մտնելով իմ սենեակը, ասաց. «Պառկի՛ր ինձ հետ»: Ես բարձրաձայն աղաղակեցի,

And she called out to [the] men of household her and she said to them saying see he has brought to us a man a Hebrew to mock us he came to me to lie with me and I called out with a voice great.

15 իսկ նա, լսելով իմ բարձրաձայն աղաղակը, շորերն ինձ մօտ թողած՝ փախաւ, գնաց դուրս»:

And it was when heard he that I raised voice my and I called out and he left clothing his beside me and he fled and he went out the outside towards.

16 Նա շորերը պահեց մօտը մինչեւ ամուսինը տուն եկաւ, նրա հետ խօսեց այս բաները՝ ասելով, թէ՝

And she placed clothing his beside her until came master his to house his.

17 «Սենեակս մտաւ քո բերած եբրայեցի ծառան, որպէսզի խայտառակի ինձ: Նա ասաց՝ «Պառկի՛ր ինձ հետ»:

And she spoke to him according to the words these saying he came to me the servant the Hebrew whom you brought to us to mock me.

18 Իսկ երբ լսեց, որ ձայնս բարձրացրի, շորերն ինձ մօտ թողած՝ փախաւ, գնաց դուրս»:

And it was when raised I voice my and I called out and he left clothing his beside me and he fled the outside towards.

19 Երբ տէրը լսեց իր կնոջ պատմածը, թէ՝ «Այսպէս վարուեց ինձ հետ քո ծառան», խիստ բարկացաւ:

And it was when heard master his [the] words of wife his which she spoke to him saying according to the things these he did to me servant your and it burned anger his.

20 Յովսէփի տէրը բռնեց ու բանտ նետեց նրան, այնտեղ, ուր արքունի կալանաւորներ էին բանտարկուած:

And he took [the] master of Joseph him and he put him into [the] house of the prison [the] place where ([the] prisoners of *QK) the king [were] imprisoned and he was there in [the] house of the prison.

21 Բայց Աստուած Յովսէփի հետ էր. նա ողորմութիւն պարգեւեց նրան, եւ այնպէս արեց, որ նա բանտապետի բարեհաճութեանն արժանանայ:

And he was Yahweh with Joseph and he extended to him covenant loyalty and he gave favor his in [the] eyes of [the] commander of [the] house of the prison.

22 Բանտապետը բանտն ու բանտում եղած բոլոր կալանաւորներին վստահեց Յովսէփին: Եւ ինչ էլ որ լինում էր այնտեղ, նա էր անողը:

And he gave [the] commander of [the] house of the prison in [the] hand of Joseph all the prisoners who [were] in [the] house of the prison and all that [they were] doing there he he was doing.

23 Բանտապետը նրա շնորհիւ բանտի գործերին չէր խառնւում, որովհետեւ ամէն ինչ յանձնուած էր Յովսէփի ձեռքը: Աստուած նրա հետ էր, եւ ինչ էլ որ ինքն անում էր, Տէրը յաջողութիւն էր տալիս նրան:

Not - [the] commander of [the] house of the prison [was] seeing all anything in hand his in that Yahweh [was] with him and [that] which he [was] doing Yahweh [was] making successful.
