المَزامِير 76

١ 1 اللهُ مَعْرُوفٌ فِي يَهُوذَا وَاسْمُهُ مُعَظَّمٌ فِي إِسْرَائِيلَ.

[For the Chief Musician. On stringed instruments. A Psalm by Asaph. A song.] In Judah, God is known. His name is great in Israel.

٢ 2 خَيْمَتُهُ فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ وَمَسْكَنُهُ فِي جَبَلِ صِهْيَوْنَ.

And his abode is in Salem, and his lair in Zion.

٣ 3 هُنَاكَ حَطَّمَ السِّهَامَ الْبَارِقَةَ، وَالتُّرْسَ وَالسَّيْفَ وَكُلَّ أَسْلِحَةِ الْحَرْبِ.

There he broke the flaming arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the weapons of war. (Selah)

٤ 4 أَنْتَ أَمْجَدُ وَأَعْظَمُ جَلاَلاً مِنَ الْجِبَالِ الْخَالِدَةِ

Glorious are you, and excellent, more than mountains of game.

٥ 5 سَلَبْتَ أَبْطَالَهُمْ، فَنَامُوا نَوْمَ الْمَوْتِ، وَلَمْ تَنْفَعْهُمْ قُدْرَاتُهُمْ.

Valiant men lie plundered, they have slept their last sleep. None of the men of war can lift their hands.

٦ 6 مِنْ زَجْرِكَ يَاإِلَهَ يَعْقُوبَ تُصْرَعُ الْفُرْسَانُ وَالْخُيُولُ.

At your rebuke, God of Jacob, both chariot and horse are cast into a deep sleep.

٧ 7 إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مَهُوبٌ، فَمَنْ يَقِفُ أَمَامَكَ فِي غَضَبِكَ؟

You, even you, are to be feared. Who can stand in your sight when you are angry?

٨ 8 مِنَ السَّمَاءِ أَصْدَرْتَ حُكْماً فَلَمَّا سَمِعَتْهُ الأَرْضُ فَزِعَتْ وَصَمَتَتْ.

You pronounced judgment from heaven. The earth feared, and was silent,

٩ 9 كَانَ ذَلِكَ عِنْدَمَا قُمْتَ لِلْقَضَاءِ لِتُخَلِّصَ وُدَعَاءَ الأَرْضِ كُلَّهُمْ.

when God arose to judgment, to save all the afflicted ones of the earth. (Selah)

١٠ 10 حَقّاً يَحْمَدُكَ غَضَبُ الإِنْسَانِ، وَمَا تَبَقَّى مِنَ الْغَضَبِ تَتَمَنْطَقُ أَنْتَ بِهِ.

Surely the wrath of man praises you. The survivors of your wrath are restrained.

١١ 11 انْذِرُوا وَأَوْفُوا لِلرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ. يَاجَمِيعَ مَنْ حَوْلَهُ قَدِّمُوا هَدِيَّةً لِلْمَهُوبِ،

Make vows to the LORD your God, and fulfill them. Let all of his neighbors bring presents to him who is to be feared.

١٢ 12 فَهُوَ يَسْتَأْصِلُ أَرْوَاحَ رُؤَسَاءِ الأَرْضِ، وَيُرْهِبُ مُلُوكَهَا الْعُظَمَاءَ.

He humbles the spirit of princes. He is feared by the kings of the earth.
