المَزامِير 75

١ 1 نَحْمَدُكَ يَااللهُ نَحْمَدُكَ، لأَنَّ اسْمَكَ قَرِيبٌ مِنْ شَعْبِكَ الَّذِي يُخْبِرُ بِمَا صَنَعْتَ مِنْ عَجَائِبَ.

Unto thee, O Elohim, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.

٢ 2 يَقُولُ اللهُ: «أَنَا أَخْتَارُ مِيعَادِي وَبِالإِنْصَافِ أَنَا أَقْضِي.

When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.

٣ 3 عِنْدَمَا تَهْتَزُّ الأَرْضُ وَمَا فِيهَا مِنْ أَحْيَاءَ، أَنَا مَنْ يُوَطِّدُ أَرْكَانَهَا.

The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. (Selah)

٤ 4 أَقُولُ لِلْمُتَغَطْرِسِينَ: لاَ تَتَفَاخَرُوا فِيمَا بَعْدُ،

I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

٥ 5 وَللأَشْرَارِ: لاَ تَتَشَامَخُوا بِرُؤُوسِكُمْ وَلاَ تَتَكَلَّمُوا بِأَعْنَاقٍ مُتَصَلِّفَةٍ

Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.

٦ 6 فَإِنَّ الرِّفْعَةَ لاَ تَأْتِي مِنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَلاَ مِنَ الْمَغْرِبِ. وَلاَ مِنَ الشِّمَالِ وَلاَ مِنَ الْجَنُوبِ.

For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

٧ 7 فَاللهُ هُوَ الدَّيَّانُ، يَرْفَعُ وَاحِداً وَيَخْفِضُ آخَرَ.

But Elohim is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

٨ 8 فِي يَدِ الرَّبِّ كَأْسُ خَمْرٍ مُزْبِدَةٍ مَمْزُوجَةٍ. يَصُبُّهَا فَيَشْرَبُهَا كُلُّ الأَشْرَارِ حَتَّى ثُمَالَتِهَا.

For in the hand of YHWH there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

٩ 9 أَمَّا أَنَا فَلَنْ أَكُفَّ عَنِ الْحَدِيثِ عَنْ إِلَهِ يَعْقُوبَ. أُرَنِّمُ لَهُ دَائِماً.

But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the Elohim of Jacob.

١٠ 10 يُحَطِّمُ قُوَّةَ الشِّرِّيرِ، أَمَّا قُوَّةُ الْبَارِّ فَتَعْظُمُ.

All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
