المَزامِير 5

١ 1 رَبُّ أَصْغِ إِلَى كَلاَمِي وَأَنْصِتْ إِلَى تَنَهُّدِي،

Unto the end, for her that obtaineth the inheritance. A psalm of David. Give ear, O Lord, to my words, understand my cry.

٢ 2 اسْمَعْ إِلَى نِدَاءِ اسْتِغَاثَتِي يَامَلِكِي وَإِلَهِي، فَإِنِّي إِلَيْكَ أُصَلِّي.

Hearken to the voice of my prayer, O my King and my God.

٣ 3 فِي بَوَاكِيرِ الصَّبَاحِ تُصْغِي إِلَى صَوْتِي يَارَبُّ، وَفِي الصَّبَاحِ أَتَوَجَّهُ إِلَيْكَ مُنْتَظِراً إِيَّاكَ.

For to thee will I pray: O Lord, in the morning thou shalt hear my voice.

٤ 4 فَإِنَّكَ إِلَهٌ لاَ يُسَرُّ بِالشَّرِّ. وَلَيْسَ لِلشِّرِّيرِ أَنْ يُقِيمَ فِي حَضْرَتِك.

In the morning I will stand before thee, and will see: because thou art not a God that willest iniquity.

٥ 5 لاَ يَمْثُلُ الْمُتَغَطْرِسُونَ أَمَامَكَ، فَإِنَّكَ تُبْغِضُ جَمِيعَ فَاعِلِي الإِثْمِ،

Neither shall the wicked dwell near thee: nor shall the unjust abide before thy eyes.

٦ 6 وَتُهْلِكُ النَّاطِقِينَ بِالْكَذِبِ، لأَنَّكَ تَمْقُتُ سَافِكَ الدِّمَاءِ وَالْمَاكِرَ

Thou hatest all the workers of iniquity: Thou wilt destroy all that speak a lie. The bloody and the deceitful man the Lord will abhor.

٧ 7 أَمَّا أَنَا فَبِفَضْلِ رَحْمَتِكَ الْعَظِيمَةِ أَدْخُلُ بَيْتَكَ. أَسْجُدُ فِي خُشُوعٍ وَرِعْدَةٍ فِي هَيْكَلِكَ الْمُقَدَّسِ.

But as for me in the multitude of thy mercy, I will come into thy house; I will worship towards thy holy temple, in thy fear.

٨ 8 يَارَبُّ أَرْشِدْنِي لِعَمَلِ بِرِّكَ عِنْدَ مُوَاجَهَةِ أَعْدَائِي لِي، وَسَهِّلْ أَمَامِي طَرِيقَكَ.

Conduct me, O Lord, in thy justice: because of my enemies, direct my way in thy sight.

٩ 9 إذْ لَيْسَ فِي أَفْوَاهِهِمْ صِدْقٌ وَدَاخِلُهُمْ مَفَاسِدُ، حَنَاجِرُهُمْ قُبُورٌ مَفْتُوحَةٌ وَأَلْسِنَتُهُمْ أَدَوَاتٌ لِلْمَكْرِ.

For there is no truth in their mouth; their heart is vain.

١٠ 10 احْكُمْ عَلَيْهِمِ اللهُمَّ، وَلْتَكُنْ مُؤَامَرَاتُهُمْ فَخّاً لَهُمْ يَسْقُطُونَ فِيهِ. طَوِّحْ بِهِمْ لِكَثْرَةِ مَعَاصِيهِمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ قَدْ تَمَرَّدُوا عَلَيْكَ.

Their throat is an open sepulchre: they dealt deceitfully with their tongues: judge them, O God. Let them fall from their devices: according to the multitude of their wickedness cast them out: for they have provoked thee, O Lord.

١١ 11 وَيَبْتَهِجُ جَمِيعُ الْمُتَّكِلِينَ عَلَيْكَ. إِلَى الأَبَدِ يَتَرَنَّمُونَ، لأَنَّكَ تُظَلِّلُهُمْ بِحِمَايَتِكَ، فَيَفْرَحُ بِكَ الَّذِينَ يُحِبُّونَ اسْمَكَ.

But let all them be glad that hope in thee: they shall rejoice for ever, and thou shalt dwell in them. And all they that love thy name shall glory in thee:

١٢ 12 لأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ يَارَبُّ تُبَارِكُ الْبَارَّ وَتُطَوِّقُهُ بِتُرْسِ رِضَاكَ.

For thou wilt bless the just. O Lord, thou hast crowned us, as with a shield of thy good will.
