المَزامِير 47

١ 1 يَاجَمِيعَ الأُمَمِ صَفِّقُوا بِالأَيَا دِي، وَاهْتِفُوا للهِ هُتَافَ الابْتِهَاجِ.

Oh clap your hands, all you nations. Shout to God with the voice of triumph!

٢ 2 لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ عَلِيٌّ مَخُوفٌ، مَلِكٌ عَظِيمٌ عَلَى كُلِّ الأَرْضِ.

For Adonai Most High is awesome. He is a great King over all the earth.

٣ 3 يُخْضِعُ الشُّعُوبَ لَنَا، وَيَطْرَحُ الأُمَمَ تَحْتَ أَقْدَامِنَا.

He subdues nations under us, and peoples under our feet.

٤ 4 يَخْتَارُ لَنَا مِيرَاثَنَا، فَخْرَ يَعْقُوبَ الَّذِي أَحَبَّهُ.

He chooses our inheritance for us, the glory of Jacob [Supplanter] whom he 'ahav ·affectionately loved·. (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.

٥ 5 ارْتَفَعَ اللهُ وَسَطَ الْهُتَافِ، ارْتَفَعَ الرَّبُّ وَسَطَ دَوِيِّ نَفْخِ الْبُوقِ.

God has gone up with a shout, Adonai with the sound of a shofar ·ram horn·.

٦ 6 رَنِّمُوا لِلهِ، رَنِّمُوا. رَنِّمُوا لِمَلِكِنَا، رَنِّمُوا.

Sing zahmar ·musical praise· to God, sing zahmar ·musical praise·. Sing zahmar ·musical praise· to our King, sing zahmar ·musical praise·.

٧ 7 لأَنَّ اللهَ هُوَ مَلِكُ الأَرْضِ كُلِّهَا. رَنِّمُوا لَهُ قَصِيدَةَ حَمْدٍ.

For God is the King of all the earth. Sing zahmar ·musical praise· with understanding.

٨ 8 مَلَكَ اللهُ عَلَى الأُمَمِ، اللهُ جَلَسَ عَلَى عَرْشِهِ الْمُقَدَّسِ.

God reigns over the nations. God sits on his holy throne.

٩ 9 رُؤَسَاءُ الأُمَمِ اجْتَمَعُوا مَعَ شَعْبِ إِلَهِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ. لأَنَّ لِلهِ حُمَاةَ الأَرْضِ وَهُوَ مُتَعَالٍ جِدّاً.

The princes of the peoples are gathered together, the people of the God of Abraham [Father of a multitude]. For the shields of the earth belong to God. He is greatly exalted!
