المَزامِير 29

١ 1 قَدِّمُوا لِلرَّبِّ يَاأَبْنَاءَ اللهِ، قَدِّمُوا لِلرَّبِّ مَجْداً وَعِزّاً.

A Psalm of David. Give unto Jehovah, ye sons of the mighty ones, give unto Jehovah glory and strength;

٢ 2 قَدِّمُوا لِلرَّبِّ مَجْداً لاِسْمِهِ. اسْجُدُوا لِلرَّبِّ بِثَوْبِ الإِجْلاَلِ وَالْقَدَاسَةِ.

Give unto Jehovah the glory of his name; worship Jehovah in holy splendour.

٣ 3 هُوَذَا صَوْتُ الرَّبِّ يُدَوِّي فَوْقَ الْمِيَا هِ. إِلَهُ الْمَجْدِ أَرْعَدَ. مَجْدُ الرَّبِّ فَوْقَ الْمِيَاهِ الْغَزِيرَةِ.

The voice of Jehovah is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth, — Jehovah upon great waters.

٤ 4 صَوْتُ الرَّبِّ قَوِيٌّ جِدّاً. صَوْتُ الرَّبِّ يَفِيضُ بِالْجَلاَلِ.

The voice of Jehovah is powerful; the voice of Jehovah is full of majesty.

٥ 5 صَوْتُ الرَّبِّ يُكَسِّرُ شَجَرَ الأَرْزِ. نَعَمْ، إِنَّ الرَّبَّ يُكَسِّرُ أَرْزَ لُبْنَانَ.

The voice of Jehovah breaketh cedars; yea, Jehovah breaketh the cedars of Lebanon:

٦ 6 فَيَجْعَلُ لُبْنَانَ يَفِرُّ كَالْعِجْلِ، وَجَبَلَ حَرْمُونَ يَقْفِزُ كَالثَّوْرِ الْوَحْشِيِّ الْفَتِيِّ.

And he maketh them to skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young buffalo.

٧ 7 صَوْتُ الرَّبِّ يَقْدَحُ وَمِيضَ بَرْقٍ،

The voice of Jehovah cleaveth out flames of fire.

٨ 8 صَوْتُ الرَّبِّ يُزَلْزِلُ الْبَرِّيَّةَ، وَيُزَلْزِلُ الرَّبُّ بَرِّيَّةَ قَادِشَ،

The voice of Jehovah shaketh the wilderness; Jehovah shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

٩ 9 صَوْتُ الرَّبِّ يَجْعَلُ الْوُعُولَ تَلِدُ قَبْلَ الأَوَانِ، وَيُحَوِّلُ الْغَابَاتِ إِلَى عَرَاءٍ، وَفِي هَيْكَلِهِ الْكُلُّ يَهْتِفُ: مَجْداً.

The voice of Jehovah maketh the hinds to calve, and layeth bare the forests; and in his temple doth every one say, Glory!

١٠ 10 جَلَسَ الرَّبُّ مَلِكاً فَوْقَ الطُّوفَانِ، وَيَتَرَبَّعُ عَلَى عَرْشِهِ إِلَى الأَبَدِ.

Jehovah sitteth upon the flood; yea, Jehovah sitteth as king for ever.

١١ 11 الرَّبُّ يُعْطِي شَعْبَهُ عِزّاً. الرَّبُّ يُبَارِكُ شَعْبَهُ بِالسَّلاَمِ.

Jehovah will give strength unto his people; Jehovah will bless his people with peace.
