المَزامِير 148

١ 1 هَلِّلُويَا! سَبِّحُوا الرَّبَّ مِنَ السَّمَاوَاتِ. سَبِّحُوهُ فِي الأَعَالِي.

Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights.

٢ 2 سَبِّحُوهُ يَاجَمِيعَ مَلاَئِكَتِهِ. سَبِّحُوهُ يَاجَمِيعَ أَجْنَادِهِ.

Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

٣ 3 سَبِّحِيهِ يَاشَمْسُ وَيَاقَمَرُ. سَبِّحِيهِ يَاجَمِيعَ الكَوَاكِبِ المُشْرِقَةِ.

Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.

٤ 4 سَبِّحِيهِ يَاسَمَاءَ السَّمَاوَاتِ، وَيَا أَيَّتُهَا السُّحُبُ الَّتِي فَوْقَ الجَلَدِ.

Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that [be] above the heavens.

٥ 5 لِتُسَبِّحْ هَذِهِ اسْمَ الرَّبِّ، لأَنَّهَا بِأَمْرِهِ خُلِقَتْ،

Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.

٦ 6 وَثَبَّتَهَا إِلَى الدَّهْرِ وَالأَبَدِ، وَاضِعاً لَهَا حَدّاً لاَ تَتَجَاوَزُهُ.

He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.

٧ 7 سَبِّحِي الرَّبَّ مِنْ عَلَى الأَرْضِ يَاوُحُوشَ الْبَحْرِ وَيَاكُلَّ اللُّجَجِ.

Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:

٨ 8 أَيَّتُهَا النَّارُ وَالْبَرَدُ، وَالثَّلْجُ والضَّبَابُ، الرِّيحُ الْعَاصِفَةُ الْمُنَفِّذَةُ لأَمْرِهِ،

Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

٩ 9 الْجِبَالُ وَالتِّلاَلُ جَمِيعاً، الأَشْجَارُ الْمُثْمِرَةُ وَالأَرْزُ كُلُّهُ،

Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:

١٠ 10 الْحَيْوَانَاتُ الْبَرِّيَّةُ وَالْمَوَاشِي كُلُّهَا، الزَّوَاحِفُ وَالطُّيُورُ.

Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:

١١ 11 مُلُوكُ الأَرْضِ وَجَمِيعُ الشُّعُوبِ وَحُكَّامُ الأَرْضِ وَجَمِيعُ الرُّؤَسَاءِ،

Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:

١٢ 12 الْفِتْيَانُ وَالْفَتَيَاتُ وَالشُّيُوخُ وَالشُّبَّانُ،

Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:

١٣ 13 لِيُسَبِّحُوا اسْمَ الرَّبِّ، لأَنَّهُ وَحْدَهُ مُتَعَالٍ. مَجْدُهُ فَوْقَ الأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَاوَاتِ.

Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory [is] above the earth and heaven.

١٤ 14 يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَ شَعْبِهِ إِكْرَاماً لِكُلِّ أَتْقِيَائِهِ، لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الشَّعْبِ الْمُقَرَّبِ إِلَيْهِ. هَلِّلُويَا.

He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; [even] of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.
