المَزامِير 126

١ 1 عِنْدَمَا أَرْجَعَ الرَّبُّ أَهْلَ أُورُشَلِيمَ مِنَ السَّبْيِ، صِرْنَا كَمَنْ يَرَى حُلْماً.

[A Song of Ascents.] When Jehovah brought back those who returned to Zion, we were like those who dream.

٢ 2 عِنْدَئِذٍ امْتَلأَتْ أَفْوَاهُنَا ضِحْكاً، وَأَلْسِنَتُنَا تَرَنُّماً. عِنْدَئِذٍ قَالَتِ الأُمَمُ: إِنَّ الرَّبَّ قَدْ أَجْرَى أُمُوراً عَظِيمَةً مَعَ هَؤُلاَءِ.

Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, "Jehovah has done great things for them."

٣ 3 نَعَمْ، إِنَّ الرَّبَّ قَدْ صَنَعَ أُمُوراً عَظِيمَةً لَنَا، فَفَرِحْنَا.

Jehovah has done great things for us, and we are glad.

٤ 4 أَرْجِعْنَا يَارَبُّ مِنْ سَبْيِنَا، كَمَا تَرْجِعُ السُّيُولُ إِلَى النَّقَبِ.

Restore our fortunes again, Jehovah, like the streams in the Negev.

٥ 5 فَمَنْ يَزْرَعْ بِالدُّمُوعِ يَحْصُدْ غَلاَّتِهِ بِالابْتِهَاجِ.

Those who sow in tears will reap in joy.

٦ 6 وَمَنْ يَذْهَبْ بَاكِياً حَامِلاً بِذَارَهُ يَرْجِعْ مُتَرَنِّماً حَامِلاً حُزَمَ حَصِيدِهِ.

He who goes out weeping, carrying seed for sowing, will certainly come again with joy, carrying his sheaves.
