المَزامِير 121

١ 1 أَرْفَعُ عَيْنَيَّ إِلَى الْجِبَالِ. مِنْ أَيْنَ يَأْتِي عَوْنِي؟

A Song of Ascents. I will lift up mine eyes unto the mountains: from whence shall my help come?

٢ 2 يَأْتِي عَوْنِي مِنْ عِنْدِ الرَّبِّ، صَانِعِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ.

My help cometh from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

٣ 3 لاَ يَدَعُ قَدَمَكَ تَزِلُّ. لاَ يَنْعَسُ حَافِظُكَ.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved; He that keepeth thee will not slumber.

٤ 4 لاَ يَنْعَسُ وَلاَ يَنَامُ حَافِظُ إِسْرَائِيلَ.

Behold, He that keepeth Israel doth neither slumber nor sleep.

٥ 5 الرَّبُّ هُوَ حَافِظُكَ، الرَّبُّ سِتْرٌ لَكَ عَنْ يَمِينِكَ.

The LORD is thy keeper; the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.

٦ 6 لَنْ تَضْرِبَكَ الشَّمْسُ بِحَرِّهَا نَهَاراً وَلاَ الْقَمَرُ بِنُورِهِ لَيْلاً.

The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

٧ 7 يَقِيكَ الرَّبُّ مِنْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ. يَقِي نَفْسَكَ.

The LORD shall keep thee from all evil; He shall keep thy soul.

٨ 8 الرَّبُّ يَحْفَظُ ذَهَابَكَ وَإِيَابَكَ مِنَ الآنَ وَإِلَى الأَبَدِ.

The LORD shall guard thy going out and thy coming in, from this time forth and for ever.
