المَزامِير 114

١ 1 عِنْدَ خُرُوجِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنْ مِصْرَ، وَآلِ يَعْقُوبَ مِنْ بَيْنِ شَعْبٍ غَرِيبِ اللِّسَانِ.

When Israel went forth out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of foreign language;

٢ 2 صَارَ يَهُوذَا هَيْكَلاً مُقَدَّساً لَهُ، وَإِسْرَائِيلُ مَقَرَّ سُلْطَانِهِ.

Judah became his sanctuary, Israel his dominion.

٣ 3 رَأَى الْبَحْرُ الأَحْمَرُ ذَلِكَ فَهَرَبَ، وَتَرَاجَعَ نَهْرُ الأُرْدُنِّ إِلَى الْوَرَاءِ.

The sea saw it, and fled. The Jordan was driven back.

٤ 4 قَفَزَتِ الْجِبَالُ كَأَنَّهَا كِبَاشٌ، وَالتِّلاَلُ كَأَنَّهَا حُمْلاَنٌ.

The mountains skipped like rams, the little hills like lambs.

٥ 5 مَا لَكَ يَابَحْرُ قَدْ هَرَبْتَ، وَيَاأُرْدُنُّ قَدْ رَجَعْتَ إِلَى الْوَرَاءِ؟

What was it, you sea, that you fled? You Jordan, that you turned back?

٦ 6 مَالَكِ يَاجِبَالُ تَقْفِزِينَ كَالْكِبَاشِ، وَيَاتِلاَلُ كَالْحُمْلاَنِ؟

You mountains, that you skipped like rams; you little hills, like lambs?

٧ 7 تَزَلْزَلِي يَاأَرْضُ فِي حَضْرَةِ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِ يَعْقُوبَ.

Tremble, you earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob,

٨ 8 الَّذِي حَوَّلَ الصَّخْرَةَ إِلَى جَدَاوِلَ، وَالصَّوَّانَ إِلَى يَنَابِيعِ مِيَاهٍ.

who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a spring of waters.
