فِيلِبِّي 4

١ 1 إِذَنْ، يَا إِخْوَتِي الأَحِبَّاءَ وَالْمُشْتَاقَ إِلَيْهِمْ، يَا فَرَحِي وَإِكْلِيلِي، هكَذَا اثْبُتُوا فِي الرَّبِّ أَيُّهَا الأَحِبَّاءُ.

Therefore, my brothers, beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, my beloved.

٢ 2 أَحُثُّ أَفُودِيَةَ، كَمَا أَحُثُّ سِنْتِيخِي، أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُمَا، فِي الرَّبِّ، فِكْرٌ وَاحِدٌ، نصيحة وحث

I exhort Euodia, and I exhort Syntyche, to think the same way in the Lord.

٣ 3 أَجَلْ، أَطْلُبُ إِلَيْكَ أَنْتَ أَيْضاً، أَيُّهَا الزَّمِيلُ الْمُخْلِصُ، أَنْ تُسَاعِدَهُمَا، لأَنَّهُمَا جَاهَدَتَا مَعِي فِي خِدْمَةِ الإِنْجِيلِ، هُمَا وَأَكْلِيمَنْدُسُ وَمُعَاوِنِيَّ الآخَرُونَ، الْمَكْتُوبَةُ أَسْمَاؤُهُمْ فِي سِجِلِّ الْحَيَاةِ.

Yes, I beg you also, true partner, help these women, for they labored with me in the Good News with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.

٤ 4 افْرَحُوا فِي الرَّبِّ دَائِماً، وَأَقُولُ أَيْضاً: افْرَحُوا.

Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, “Rejoice!”

٥ 5 لِيَكُنْ طُولُ بَالِكُمْ مَعْرُوفاً لَدَى النَّاسِ جَمِيعاً. إِنَّ الرَّبَّ قَرِيبٌ.

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

٦ 6 لَا تَقْلَقُوا مِنْ جِهَةِ أَيِّ شَيْءٍ، بَلْ فِي كُلِّ أَمْرٍ لِتَكُنْ طِلْبَاتُكُمْ مَعْرُوفَةً لَدَى اللهِ، بِالصَّلاةِ وَالدُّعَاءِ، مَعَ الشُّكْرِ.

In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

٧ 7 وَسَلامُ اللهِ، الَّذِي تَعْجَزُ الْعُقُولُ عَنْ إِدْرَاكِهِ، يَحْرُسُ قُلُوبَكُمْ وَأَفْكَارَكُمْ فِي الْمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

٨ 8 وَخِتَاماً، أَيُّهَا الإِخْوَةُ: كُلُّ مَا كَانَ حَقّاً، وَكُلُّ مَا كَانَ شَرِيفاً، وَكُلُّ مَا كَانَ عَادِلاً، وَكُلُّ مَا كَانَ طَاهِراً وَكُلُّ مَا كَانَ مُسْتَحَبّاً، وَكُلُّ مَا كَانَ حَسَنَ السُّمْعَةِ، وَكُلُّ مَا كَانَ فِيهِ فَضِيلَةٌ وَخَصْلَةٌ حَمِيدَةٌ، فَاشْغِلُوا أَفْكَارَكُمْ بِهِ.

Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

٩ 9 وَاعْمَلُوا بِها مَا تَعَلَّمْتُمْ وَتَلَقَّيْتُمْ وَسَمِعْتُمْ مِنِّي وَمَا رَأَيْتُمْ فِيَّ. وَإِلَهُ السَّلامِ يَكُونُ مَعَكُمْ.

Do the things which you learned, received, heard, and saw in me, and the God of peace will be with you.

١٠ 10 ثُمَّ إِنِّي فَرِحْتُ فِي الرَّبِّ فَرَحاً عَظِيماً إِذْ إِنَّكُمُ الآنَ قَدْ جَدَّدْتُمْ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى اهْتِمَامَكُمْ بِي. فَمَعَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ لَكُمْ مِثْلُ هَذَا الاهْتِمَامِ، فَإِنَّ الْفُرْصَةَ لَمْ تَتَيَسَّرْ لَكُمْ مِنْ قَبْلُ.

But I rejoice in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your thought for me; in which you did indeed take thought, but you lacked opportunity.

١١ 11 لَسْتُ أَعْنِي أَنِّي كُنْتُ فِي حَاجَةٍ، فَأَنَا قَدْ تَعَلَّمْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ قَنُوعاً فِي كُلِّ حَالٍ.

Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it.

١٢ 12 وَأَعْرِفُ كَيْفَ أَعِيشُ فِي الْعَوَزِ، وَكَيْفَ أَعِيشُ فِي الْوَفْرَةِ. فَإِنِّي، فِي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، وَفِي جَمِيعِ الأَحْوَالِ، مُتَدَرِّبٌ عَلَى الشَّبَعِ وَعَلَى الْجُوعِ، وَعَلَى الْعَيْشِ فِي الْوَفْرَةِ أَوْ فِي الْعَوَزِ.

I know how to be humbled, and I also know how to abound. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need.

١٣ 13 إِنِّي أَسْتَطِيعُ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ، فِي الْمَسِيحِ الَّذِي يُقَوِّينِي.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

١٤ 14 إِلّا أَنَّكُمْ حَسَناً فَعَلْتُمْ إِذْ سَاهَمْتُمْ فِي تَبْدِيدِ ضِيقَتِي.

However you did well that you shared in my affliction.

١٥ 15 وَتَعْرِفُونَ أَيْضاً، يَا مُؤْمِنِي فِيلِبِّي، أَنَّهُ عِنْدَ ابْتِدَاءِ خِدْمَتِي لِلإِنْجِيلِ، إِذِ انْطَلَقْتُ مِنْ مُقَاطَعَةِ مَقِدُونِيَّةَ، مَا مِنْ كَنِيسَةٍ سَاهَمَتْ مَعِي فِي حِسَابِ الْعَطَاءِ وَالأَخْذِ إِلّا أَنْتُمْ وَحْدَكُمْ.

You yourselves also know, you Philippians, that in the beginning of the Good News, when I departed from Macedonia, no assembly shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving but you only.

١٦ 16 حَتَّى وَأَنَا فِي مَدِينَةِ تَسَالُونِيكِي، بَعَثْتُمْ إِلَيَّ بِمَا أَحْتَاجُ إِلَيْهِ، لَا مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً بَلْ أَكْثَرَ.

For even in Thessalonica you sent once and again to my need.

١٧ 17 وَالْوَاقِعُ أَنِّي لَا أَسْعَى إِلَى الْعَطَايَا، بَلْ أَسْعَى إِلَى الْفَائِدَةِ الْمُتَكَاثِرَةِ لِحِسَابِكُمْ.

Not that I seek for the gift, but I seek for the fruit that increases to your account.

١٨ 18 فَالآنَ عِنْدِي كُلُّ مَا يَسُدُّ حَاجَتِي وَيَزِيدُ عَنْهَا. أَنَا فِي بُحْبُوحَةٍ إِذْ تَسَلَّمْتُ مِنْ أَبَفْرُودِيتُسَ مَا بَعَثْتُمْ بِهِ إِلَيَّ، عِطْراً طَيِّبَ الرَّائِحَةِ، ذَبِيحَةً يَقْبَلُهَا اللهُ وَيُسَرُّ بِها.

But I have all things and abound. I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things that came from you, a sweet-smelling fragrance, an acceptable and well-pleasing sacrifice to God.

١٩ 19 وَإِنَّ إِلَهِي سَيَسُدُّ حَاجَاتِكُمْ كُلَّهَا إِلَى التَّمَامِ، وَفْقاً لِغِنَاهُ فِي الْمَجْدِ، فِي الْمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ.

My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

٢٠ 20 فَلإِلَهِنَا وَأَبِينَا، الْمَجْدُ إِلَى دَهْرِ الدُّهُورِ. آمِين! (aiōn g165)

Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever! Amen. (aiōn g165)

٢١ 21 سَلِّمُوا عَلَى كُلِّ قِدِّيسٍ فِي الْمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ.

Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me greet you.

٢٢ 22 الإِخْوَةُ الَّذِينَ مَعِي يُسَلِّمُونَ عَلَيْكُمْ. وَيُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْكُمْ جَمِيعُ الْقِدِّيسِينَ، وَلاسِيَّمَا الَّذِينَ هُمْ مِنْ حَاشِيَةِ الْقَيْصَرِ.

All the saints greet you, especially those who are of Caesar’s household.

٢٣ 23 لِتَكُنْ نِعْمَةُ رَبِّنَا يَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحِ مَعَ رُوحِكُمْ. آمِين!

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
