لاويّين 9

١ 1 وَفِي الْيَوْمِ الثَّامِنِ دَعَا مُوسَى هَرُونَ وَأَبْنَاءَهُ وَقَادَةَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ،

And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel,

٢ 2 وَقَالَ لِهَرُونَ: «أَحْضِرْ ثَوْراً لِذَبِيحَةِ الْخَطِيئَةِ وَكَبْشاً لِمُحْرَقَةٍ، عَلَى أَنْ يَكُونَا سَلِيمَيْنِ، وَقَدِّمْهُمَا فِي حَضْرَةِ الرَّبِّ.

and he said to Aaron, Take thee a calf of the herd for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before Jehovah.

٣ 3 وَقُلْ لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ: خُذُوا تَيْساً مِنَ الْمَعْزِ لِذَبِيحَةِ الْخَطِيئَةِ، وَثَوْراً وَخَرُوفاً حَوْلِيَّيْنِ سَلِيمَيْنِ لِمُحْرَقَةٍ،

And thou shall speak to the sons of Israel, saying, Take ye a he-goat for a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, both a year old, without blemish, for a burnt offering,

٤ 4 وَثَوْراً وَكَبْشاً لِقُرْبَانِ سَلاَمٍ، لِلذَّبْحِ فِي حَضْرَةِ الرَّبِّ، وَتَقْدِمَةً مِنْ دَقِيقٍ مَعْجُونٍ بِالزَّيْتِ، لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ سَيَتَجَلَّى لَكُمُ الْيَوْمَ».

and an ox and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before Jehovah, and a meal offering mingled with oil. For today Jehovah appears to you.

٥ 5 فَجَاءُوا بِمَا أَمَرَ بِهِ مُوسَى إِلَى أَمَامِ خَيْمَةِ الاجْتِمَاعِ، وَتَقَدَّمَ كُلُّ الشَّعْبِ وَوَقَفُوا فِي حَضْرَةِ الرَّبِّ،

And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tent of meeting, and all the congregation drew near and stood before Jehovah.

٦ 6 فَقَالَ مُوسَى: «هَذَا مَا أَمَرَكُمْ بِهِ الرَّبُّ لِتَعْمَلُوا، لِكَيْ يَتَجَلَّى لَكُمْ مَجْدُ الرَّبِّ».

And Moses said, This is the thing which Jehovah commanded that ye should do, and the glory of Jehovah shall appear to you.

٧ 7 ثُمَّ قَالَ مُوسَى لِهَرُونَ: «اقْتَرِبْ مِنَ الْمَذْبَحِ وَقَدِّمْ ذَبِيحَةَ خَطِيئَتِكَ وَمُحْرَقَتَكَ، وَكَفِّرْ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ وَعَنِ الشَّعْبِ، ثُمَّ أَحْضِرْ قُرْبَانَ الشَّعْبِ وَكَفِّرْ عَنْهُمْ كَمَا أَمَرَ الرَّبُّ».

And Moses said to Aaron, Draw near to the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make atonement for thyself, and for the people. And offer the oblation of the people, and make atonement for them, as Jehovah commanded.

٨ 8 فَاقْتَرَبَ هَرُونُ مِنَ الْمَذْبَحِ، وَقَرَّبَ الثَّوْرَ ذَبِيحَةَ خَطِيئَةٍ عَنْ نَفْسِهِ،

So Aaron drew near to the altar, and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.

٩ 9 وَقَدَّمَ لَهُ أَبْنَاؤُهُ الدَّمَ فَغَمَسَ إِصْبَعَهُ فِيهِ وَوَضَعَهُ عَلَى قُرُونِ الْمَذْبَحِ، ثُمَّ سَكَبَ بَقِيَّةَ الدَّمِ عِنْدَ قَاعِدَتِهِ.

And the sons of Aaron presented the blood to him, and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar,

١٠ 10 وَأَحْرَقَ عَلَى الْمَذْبَحِ شَحْمَ ذَبِيحَةِ الْخَطِيئَةِ وَكُلْيَتَيْهَا وَمَرَارَتَهَا، كَمَا أَمَرَ الرَّبُّ مُوسَى

but he burnt the fat, and the kidneys, and the caul from the liver of the sin offering, upon the altar, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

١١ 11 أَمَّا اللَّحْمُ وَالْجِلْدُ فَقَدْ أَحْرَقَهُمَا خَارِجَ الْمُخَيَّمِ.

And he burnt the flesh and the skin with fire outside the camp.

١٢ 12 ثُمَّ ذَبَحَ هَرُونُ كَبْشَ الْمُحْرَقَةِ، وَقَدَّمَ لَهُ أَبْنَاؤُهُ الدَّمَ فَرَشَّهُ عَلَى جَوَانِبِ الْمَذْبَحِ.

And he killed the burnt offering. And Aaron's sons delivered to him the blood, and he sprinkled it upon the altar round about.

١٣ 13 ثُمَّ نَاوَلُوهُ أَجْزَاءَ لَحْمِ الْمُحْرَقَةِ، وَرَأْسَهَا فَأَحْرَقَهَا عَلَى الْمَذْبَحِ.

And they delivered the burnt offering to him, piece by piece, and the head, and he burnt them upon the altar.

١٤ 14 وَغَسَلَ الأَمْعَاءَ وَالأَكَارِعَ وَأَحْرَقَهَا فَوْقَ الْمُحْرَقَةِ عَلَى الْمَذْبَحِ.

And he washed the innards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt offering on the altar.

١٥ 15 ثُمَّ قَدَّمَ قُرْبَانَ الشَّعْبِ. فَأَخَذَ تَيْسَ خَطِيئَةِ الشَّعْبِ، وَذَبَحَهُ وَقَدَّمَهُ قُرْبَانَ خَطِيئَةٍ عَلَى مِثَالِ قُرْبَانِ الْخَطِيئَةِ الأَوَّلِ.

And he presented the people's oblation. And took the goat of the sin offering which was for the people, and killed it, and offered it for sin, as the first.

١٦ 16 ثُمَّ أَحْضَرَ الْمُحْرَقَةَ وَأَصْعَدَهَا حَسَبَ الشَّعَائِرِ الْمَنْصُوصَةِ.

And he presented the burnt offering, and offered it according to the ordinance.

١٧ 17 وَرَفَعَ أَيْضاً تَقْدِمَةَ الدَّقِيقِ، فَمَلأَ قَبْضَتَهُ مِنْهَا وَأَحْرَقَهَا عَلَى الْمَذْبَحِ، بِالإِضَافَةِ إِلَى التَّقْدِمَةِ الصَّبَاحِيَّةِ الْمُعْتَادَةِ.

And he presented the meal offering, and filled his hand from it, and burnt it upon the altar, besides the burnt offering of the morning.

١٨ 18 وَكَذَلِكَ ذَبَحَ الثَّوْرَ وَالْكَبْشَ، ذَبِيحَةَ سَلاَمٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِ وَأَعْطَاهُ أَبْنَاؤُهُ الدَّمَ فَرَشَّهُ عَلَى جَوَانِبِ الْمَذْبَحِ.

He also killed the ox and the ram, the sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people. And Aaron's sons delivered to him the blood, which he sprinkled upon the altar round about,

١٩ 19 وَانْتَزَعَ شَحْمَ الثَّوْرِ وَأَلْيَةَ الْكَبْشِ وَشَحْمَ الْكُلْيَتَيْنِ وَالْمَرَارَةَ مِنْهُمَا،

and the fat of the ox and of the ram, the fat tail, and that which covers the innards, and the kidneys, and the caul of the liver.

٢٠ 20 وَوَضَعُوا الشَّحْمَ عَلَى الصَّدْرَيْنِ، ثُمَّ أَحْرَقَ الشَّحْمَ عَلَى الْمَذْبَحِ.

And they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat upon the altar.

٢١ 21 وَأَمَّا صَدْرُ كُلٍّ مِنْهُمَا وَسَاقُهُ الْيُمْنَى فَقَدْ رَجَّحَهَا أَمَامَ الرَّبِّ كَمَا أَمَرَ مُوسَى.

And the breasts and the right thigh Aaron waved for a wave offering before Jehovah, as Moses commanded.

٢٢ 22 ثُمَّ رَفَعَ هَرُونُ يَدَيْهِ نَحْوَ الشَّعْبِ وَبَارَكَهُمْ. وَلَمَّا انْتَهَى مِنْ تَقْرِيبِ ذَبِيحَةِ الْخَطِيئَةِ وَالْمُحْرَقَةِ وَذَبِيحَةِ السَّلاَمِ، انْحَدَرَ مِنْ عِنْدِ الْمَذْبَحِ.

And Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people, and blessed them. And he came down from offering the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings.

٢٣ 23 وَدَخَلَ مُوسَى وَهَرُونُ إِلَى خَيْمَةِ الاجْتِمَاعِ، وَمَا لَبِثَا أَنْ خَرَجَا وَبَارَكَا الشَّعْبَ، فَتَجَلَّى مَجْدُ الرَّبِّ لِلشَّعْبِ كُلِّهِ.

And Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting, and came out, and blessed the people. And the glory of Jehovah appeared to all the people.

٢٤ 24 وَخَرَجَتْ نَارٌ مِنْ عِنْدِ الرَّبِّ أَحْرَقَتْ ذَبِيحَةَ الْمُحْرَقَةِ وَالشَّحْمَ الَّذِي عَلَى الْمَذْبَحِ. وَعِنْدَمَا شَهِدَ الشَّعْبُ هَذَا، هَتَفُوا سَاجِدِينَ بِوُجُوهٍ مُنْحَنِيَةٍ نَحْوَ الأَرْضِ.

And there came forth fire from before Jehovah, and consumed the burnt offering and the fat upon the altar. And when all the people saw it, they shouted, and fell on their faces.
