لاويّين 14

١ 1 وَقَالَ الرَّبُّ لِمُوسَى:

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

٢ 2 «هَذِهِ هِيَ نُصُوصُ التَّعْلِيمَاتِ الْمُتَعَلِّقَةِ بِالأَبْرَصِ الْمُطَهَّرِ مِنْ بَرَصِهِ. يُحْضِرُونَهُ إِلَى الْكَاهِنِ فِي يَوْمِ شِفَائِهِ،

"This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing. He shall be brought to the cohen,

٣ 3 فَيَخْرُجُ الْكَاهِنُ إِلَى خَارِجِ الْمُخَيَّمِ لِيَفْحَصَهُ فَإِنْ وَجَدَ أَنَّهُ قَدْ بَرِئَ مِنْ دَاءِ الْبَرَصِ،

and the cohen shall go forth out of the camp. The cohen shall examine him, and look, if the plague of leprosy is healed in the leper,

٤ 4 يَأْمُرُ الْكَاهِنُ أَنْ يُؤْتَى لِلأَبْرَصِ الْمُبَرَّءِ بِعُصْفُورَيْنِ حَيَّيْنِ طَاهِرَيْنِ، وَخَشَبِ أَرْزٍ، وَخَيْطٍ أَحْمَرَ وَبَاقَةِ زُوفَا.

then the cohen shall command them to take for him who is to be cleansed two living clean birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop.

٥ 5 فَيَأْمُرُ الْكَاهِنُ بَذَبْحِ عُصْفُورٍ وَاحِدٍ فِي إِنَاءٍ خَزَفِيٍّ فَوْقَ مَاءٍ جَارٍ.

The cohen shall command them to kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.

٦ 6 أَمَّا الْعُصْفُورُ الْحَيُّ فَيَأْخُذُهُ مَعَ خَشَبِ الأَرْزِ وَالْخَيْطِ الأَحْمَرِ وَالزُّوفَا، وَيَغْمِسُهَا جَمِيعاً فِي دَمِ الْعُصْفُورِ الْمَذْبُوحِ فَوْقَ الْمَاءِ الْجَارِي،

As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water.

٧ 7 ثُمَّ يَرُشُّ عَلَى الْمُتَطَهِّرِ مِنَ الْبَرَصِ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ فَيُطَهِّرُهُ، ثُمَّ يُطْلِقُ الْعُصْفُورَ الْحَيَّ عَلَى وَجْهِ الصَّحْرَاءِ.

He shall sprinkle on him who is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird go into the open field.

٨ 8 وَيَغْسِلُ الْمُتَطَهِّرُ ثِيَابَهُ، وَيَحْلِقُ كُلَّ رَأْسِهِ، وَيَسْتَحِمُّ بِمَاءٍ فَيَطْهُرُ، ثُمَّ يَدْخُلُ الْمُخَيَّمَ. إِلّا أَنَّهُ يُقِيمُ خَارِجَ خَيْمَتِهِ سَبْعَةَ أَيَّامٍ.

"He who is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and bathe himself in water; and he shall be clean. After that he shall come into the camp, but shall dwell outside his tent seven days.

٩ 9 وَفِي الْيَوْمِ السَّابِعِ يَحْلِقُ مَا نَمَا مِنْ شَعْرِ رَأْسِهِ، وَكَذَلِكَ لِحْيَتَهُ وَحَوَاجِبَهُ، وَيَغْسِلُ ثِيَابَهُ وَيَسْتَحِمُّ بِمَاءٍ فَيُصْبِحُ طَاهِراً.

It shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off. He shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his body in water, then he shall be clean.

١٠ 10 وَفِي الْيَوْمِ الثَّامِنِ يُحْضِرُ إِلَى الْكَاهِنِ كَبْشَيْنِ صَحِيحَيْنِ، وَنَعْجَةً حَوْلِيَّةً سَلِيمَةً وَثَلاثَةَ أَعْشَارٍ (نَحْوَ سَبْعَةِ لِتْرَاتٍ) مِنَ الدَّقِيقِ الْمَعْجُونِ بِزَيْتٍ وَلُجَّ (نَحْوَ ثُلْثَ لِتْرٍ) زَيْتٍ.

"On the eighth day he shall take two male lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb a year old without blemish, and three tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a meal offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.

١١ 11 فَيُوْقِفُ الْكَاهِنُ الْقَائِمُ بِالتَّطْهِيرِ الأَبْرَصَ الْمُتَطَهِّرَ وَتَقْدِمَتَهُ عِنْدَ مَدْخَلِ خَيْمَةِ الاجْتِمَاعِ،

The cohen who cleanses him shall set the man who is to be cleansed, and those things, before the LORD, at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

١٢ 12 ثُمَّ يَأْخُذُ أَحَدَ الْكَبْشَيْنِ وَالزَّيْتَ وَيُرَجِّحُهُمَا فِي حَضْرَةِ الرَّبِّ، وَيُقَرِّبُهُمَا ذَبِيحَةَ إِثْمٍ.

"The cohen shall take one of the male lambs, and offer him for a trespass offering, with the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before the LORD.

١٣ 13 ثُمَّ يَذْبَحُ الْكَبْشَ فِي الْجَانِبِ الشِّمَالِيِّ مِنَ الْمَذْبَحِ حَيْثُ يَذْبَحُ قُرْبَانَ الْخَطِيئَةِ وَالْمُحْرَقَةَ فِي الْمَكَانِ الْمُقَدَّسِ، لأَنَّ ذَبِيحَةَ الإِثْمِ هِيَ كَذَبِيحَةِ الْخَطِيئَةِ، تَكُونُ مِنْ نَصِيبِ الْكَاهِنِ. إِنَّهَا قُدْسُ أَقْدَاسٍ.

He shall kill the male lamb in the place where they kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the place of the sanctuary; for as the sin offering is the cohen's, so is the trespass offering. It is most holy.

١٤ 14 وَيَضَعُ الْكَاهِنُ مِنْ دَمِ ذَبِيحَةِ الإِثْمِ عَلَى شَحْمَةِ أُذْنِ الْمُتَطَهِّرِ الْيُمْنَى، وَعَلَى إِبْهَامِ يَدِهِ الْيُمْنَى، وَإِبْهَامِ قَدَمِهِ الْيُمْنَى،

The cohen shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the cohen shall put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.

١٥ 15 ثُمَّ يَأْخُذُ الْكَاهِنُ الزَّيْتَ وَيَصُبُّ فِي كَفِّهِ الْيُسْرَى،

The cohen shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand.

١٦ 16 وَيَغْمِسُ إِصْبَعَهُ الْيُمْنَى فِي الزَّيْتِ الْمَصْبُوبِ فِي يَدِهِ الْيُسْرَى، وَيَرُشُّ مِنْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ أَمَامَ الرَّبِّ.

The cohen shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle some of the oil with his finger seven times before the LORD.

١٧ 17 وَيَضَعُ الْكَاهِنُ مِنَ الزَّيْتِ الْبَاقِي فِي كَفِّهِ عَلَى شَحْمَةِ أُذْنِ الْمُتَطَهِّرِ الْيُمْنَى وَعَلَى إِبْهَامِ يَدِهِ الْيُمْنَى وَإِبْهَامِ رِجْلِهِ الْيُمْنَى فَوْقَ دَمِ ذَبِيحَةِ الإِثْمِ،

The cohen shall put some of the rest of the oil that is in his hand on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering.

١٨ 18 وَيَسْكُبُ الْكَاهِنُ مَا تَبَقَّى مِنْ زَيْتٍ فِي كَفِّهِ عَلَى رَأْسِ الْمُتَطَهِّرِ، وَيُكَفِّرُ عَنْهُ أَمَامَ الرَّبِّ.

The rest of the oil that is in the cohen's hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, and the cohen shall make atonement for him before the LORD.

١٩ 19 ثُمَّ يُقَدِّمُ الْكَاهِنُ ذَبِيحَةَ الْخَطِيئَةِ تَكْفِيراً عَنِ الْمُتَطَهِّرِ مِنْ بَرَصِهِ ثُمَّ يَذْبَحُ الْمُحْرَقَةَ

"The cohen shall offer the sin offering, and make atonement for him who is to be cleansed because of his uncleanness: and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering;

٢٠ 20 وَيُصْعِدُ الْكَاهِنُ الْمُحْرَقَةَ وَالتَّقْدِمَةَ عَلَى الْمَذْبَحِ تَكْفِيراً عَنْهُ، فَيُصْبِحُ طَاهِراً.

and the cohen shall offer the burnt offering and the meal offering on the altar. The cohen shall make atonement for him, and he shall be clean.

٢١ 21 أَمَّا إِذَا كَانَ الْمُتَطَهِّرُ فَقِيراً وَعَاجِزاً عَنْ ذَلِكَ، يُحْضِرُ كَبْشاً وَاحِداً ذَبِيحَةَ إِثْمٍ تَكْفِيراً عَنْهُ، وَعُشْراً (نَحْوَ لِتْرَيْنِ وَنِصْفِ اللِّتْرِ) مِنْ دَقِيقٍ مَعْجُونٍ بِزَيْتٍ كَتَقْدِمَةٍ، وَلُجَّ (نَحْوَ ثُلْثِ لِتْرٍ) زَيْتٍ،

"If he is poor, and can't afford so much, then he shall take one male lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to make atonement for him, and one tenth of an ephah of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal offering, and a log of oil;

٢٢ 22 وَيَمَامَتَيْنِ أَوْ فَرْخَيْ حَمَامٍ، حَسَبَ قُدْرَتِهِ، فَيَكُونُ الْوَاحِدُ ذَبِيحَةَ خَطِيئَةٍ وَالآخَرُ مُحْرَقَةً.

and two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to afford; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering.

٢٣ 23 يُحْضِرُ هَذِهِ كُلَّهَا فِي الْيَوْمِ الثَّامِنِ إِلَى الْكَاهِنِ عِنْدَ مَدْخَلِ خَيْمَةِ الاجْتِمَاعِ لِفَرِيضَةِ تَطْهِيرِهِ،

"On the eighth day he shall bring them for his cleansing to the cohen, to the door of the Tent of Meeting, before the LORD.

٢٤ 24 فَيَأْخُذُ الْكَاهِنُ كَبْشَ الإِثْمِ وَالزَّيْتَ وَيُرَجِّحُهُمَا أَمَامَ الرَّبِّ،

The cohen shall take the lamb of the trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the cohen shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD.

٢٥ 25 ثُمَّ يَذْبَحُ كَبْشَ الإِثْمِ وَيَأْخُذُ مِنْ دَمِهِ وَيَضَعُ مِنْهُ عَلَى شَحْمَةِ أُذْنِ الْمُتَطَهِّرِ الْيُمْنَى، وَعَلَى إِبْهَامَيْ يَدِهِ الْيُمْنَى وَرِجْلِهِ الْيُمْنَى.

He shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering. The cohen shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering and put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.

٢٦ 26 وَيَصُبُّ الْكَاهِنُ فِي كَفِّهِ الْيُسْرَى زَيْتاً،

The cohen shall pour some of the oil into the palm of his own left hand;

٢٧ 27 وَيَرُشُّ مِنْهُ بِإِصْبَعِهِ الْيُمْنَى سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ أَمَامَ الرَّبِّ.

and the cohen shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before the LORD.

٢٨ 28 وَكَذَلِكَ يَضَعُ الْكَاهِنُ مِنَ الزَّيْتِ الَّذِي فِي كَفِّهِ عَلَى شَحْمَةِ أُذْنِ الْمُتَطَهِّرِ الْيُمْنَى وَعَلَى إِبْهَامَيْ يَدِهِ الْيُمْنَى وَرِجْلِهِ الْيُمْنَى فَوْقَ مَوْضِعِ دَمِ ذَبِيحَةِ الإِثْمِ.

Then the cohen shall put some of the oil that is in his hand on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, on the place of the blood of the trespass offering.

٢٩ 29 وَيَسْكُبُ مَا تَبَقَّى مِنْ زَيْتٍ فِي كَفِّهِ عَلَى رَأْسِ الْمُتَطَهِّرِ، تَكْفِيراً عَنْهُ أَمَامَ الرَّبِّ.

The rest of the oil that is in the cohen's hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, to make atonement for him before the LORD.

٣٠ 30 ثُمَّ يُقَدِّمُ الْكَاهِنُ الْيَمَامَتَيْنِ أَوْ فَرْخَيِ الْحَمَامِ، بِحَسَبِ قُدْرَةِ الْمُتَطَهِّرِ،

He shall offer one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, such as he is able to afford,

٣١ 31 فَيُقَرِّبُ إِحْدَاهُمَا ذَبِيحَةَ خَطِيئَةٍ وَالأُخْرَى مُحْرَقَةً مَعَ التَّقْدِمَةِ، تَكْفِيراً عَنِ الْمُتَطَهِّرِ أَمَامَ الرَّبِّ.

the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meal offering. The cohen shall make atonement for him who is to be cleansed before the LORD."

٣٢ 32 هَذِهِ هِيَ نُصُوصُ التَّعْلِيمَاتِ الْمُتَعَلِّقَةِ بِالأَبْرَصِ الْمُتَطَهِّرِ الْفَقِيرِ».

This is the law for him in whom is the plague of leprosy, who is not able to afford the sacrifice for his cleansing.

٣٣ 33 وَقَالَ الرَّبُّ لِمُوسَى:

The LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

٣٤ 34 «عِنْدَمَا تَدْخُلُونَ أَرْضَ كَنْعَانَ الَّتِي وَهَبْتُهَا لَكُمْ مُلْكاً، وَجَعَلْتُ الْبَرَصَ الْمُعْدِي يَتَفَشَّى فِي أَحَدِ الْبُيُوتِ فِي الأَرْضِ الَّتِي امْتَلَكْتُمْ،

"When you have come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put a spreading mildew in a house in the land of your possession,

٣٥ 35 يَأْتِي صَاحِبُ الْبَيْتِ وَيُخْبِرُ الْكَاهِنَ أَنَّ دَاءَ الْبَرَصِ قَدْ يَكُونُ مُتَفَشِّياً بِالْبَيْتِ،

then he who owns the house shall come and tell the cohen, saying, 'There seems to me to be some sort of plague in the house.'

٣٦ 36 فَيَأْمُرُ الْكَاهِنُ بِإِخْلاءِ الْبَيْتِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ إِلَيْهِ لِئَلّا يَتَنَجَّسَ كُلُّ مَا فِي الْبَيْتِ، ثُمَّ يَدْخُلُ الْكَاهِنُ الْبَيْتَ لِيَفْحَصَهُ.

The cohen shall command that they empty the house, before the cohen goes in to examine the plague, that all that is in the house not be made unclean: and afterward the cohen shall go in to inspect the house.

٣٧ 37 فَإِذَا عَايَنَ الإِصَابَةَ وَوَجَدَ أَنَّ فِي حِيطَانِ الْبَيْتِ نُقَراً لَوْنُهَا ضَارِبٌ إِلَى الْخُضْرَةِ أَوْ إِلَى الْحُمْرَةِ، وَبَدَا مَنْظَرُهَا غَائِراً فِي الْحِيطَانِ،

He shall examine the plague; and look, if the plague is in the walls of the house with hollow streaks, greenish or reddish, and it appears to be deeper than the wall;

٣٨ 38 يُغَادِرُ الْكَاهِنُ الْبَيْتَ وَيُغْلِقُ بَابَهُ سَبْعَةَ أَيَّامٍ.

then the cohen shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days.

٣٩ 39 فَإِذَا رَجَعَ فِي الْيَوْمِ السَّابِعِ وَفَحَصَهُ، وَوَجَدَ أَنَّ الإِصَابَةَ قَدِ امْتَدَّتْ فِي حِيطَانِ الْبَيْتِ،

The cohen shall come again on the seventh day, and look. If the plague has spread in the walls of the house,

٤٠ 40 يَأْمُرُ الْكَاهِنُ بِقَلْعِ الْحِجَارَةِ الْمُصَابَةِ وَطَرْحِهَا خَارِجَ الْمَدِينَةِ فِي مَكَانٍ نَجِسٍ،

then the cohen shall command that they take out the stones in which is the plague, and cast them into an unclean place outside of the city:

٤١ 41 وَتُكْشَطُ حِيطَانُ الْبَيْتِ الدَّاخِلِيَّةُ، وَيَطْرَحُونَ التُّرَابَ الْمَكْشُوطَ خَارِجَ الْمَدِينَةِ فِي مَكَانٍ نَجِسٍ

and he shall cause the inside of the house to be scraped all over, and they shall pour out the mortar, that they scraped off, outside of the city into an unclean place.

٤٢ 42 ثُمَّ يَأْتُونَ بِحِجَارَةٍ أُخْرَى يَضَعُونَهَا مَكَانَ الْحِجَارَةِ الْمُقْتَلَعَةِ وَيُعِيدُونَ تَطْيِينَ الْبَيْتِ مِنْ جَدِيدٍ.

They shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and he shall take other mortar, and shall plaster the house.

٤٣ 43 فَإِنْ رَجَعَتِ الإِصَابَةُ وَانْتَشَرَتْ فِي الْبَيْتِ بَعْدَ قَلْعِ الْحِجَارَةِ وَكَشْطِ الْحِيطَانِ وَتَطْيِينِهَا،

"If the plague comes again, and breaks out in the house, after he has taken out the stones, and after he has scraped the house, and after it was plastered;

٤٤ 44 وَوَجَدَ الْكَاهِنُ ذَلِكَ، تَكُونُ هَذِهِ إِصَابَةَ دَاءِ بَرَصٍ مُعْدٍ فِي الْبَيْتِ، إِنَّهُ نَجِسٌ.

then the cohen shall come in and look; and look, if the plague has spread in the house, it is a destructive mildew in the house. It is unclean.

٤٥ 45 فَيَتِمُّ هَدْمُ الْبَيْتِ بِمَا فِيهِ مِنْ حِجَارَةٍ وَأَخْشَابٍ وَتُرَابٍ، وَتُنْقَلُ كُلُّهَا إِلَى خَارِجِ الْمَدِينَةِ إِلَى مَكَانٍ نَجِسٍ.

And he shall break down the house, its stones, and its timber, and all the house's mortar. He shall carry them out of the city into an unclean place.

٤٦ 46 وَمَنْ دَخَلَ الْبَيْتَ فِي أَثْنَاءِ غَلْقِهِ يَكُونُ نَجِساً إِلَى الْمَسَاءِ.

"Moreover he who goes into the house while it is shut up shall be unclean until the evening.

٤٧ 47 وَعَلَى كُلِّ مَنْ نَامَ فِيهِ أَوْ أَكَلَ، أَنْ يَغْسِلَ ثِيَابَهُ.

He who lies down in the house shall wash his clothes; and he who eats in the house shall wash his clothes.

٤٨ 48 لَكِنْ إِنْ وَجَدَ الْكَاهِنُ أَنَّ الإِصَابَةَ لَمْ تَنْتَشِرْ فِي الْبَيْتِ بَعْدَ تَطْيِينِهِ، يُطَهِّرُهُ الْكَاهِنُ، لأَنَّ دَاءَ الْبَرَصِ قَدْ زَالَ منْهُ.

"If the cohen shall come in, and examine it, and look, the plague hasn't spread in the house, after the house was plastered, then the cohen shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.

٤٩ 49 فَيُحْضِرُ لِتَطْهِيرِ الْبَيْتِ عُصْفُورَيْنِ وَخَشَبَ أَرْزٍ وَخَيْطاً أَحْمَرَ وَزُوفاً،

To cleanse the house he shall take two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop.

٥٠ 50 فَيَذْبَحُ أَحَدَ الْعُصْفُورَيْنِ فِي إِنَاءٍ خَزَفِيٍّ فَوْقَ مَاءٍ جَارٍ،

He shall kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.

٥١ 51 وَيَغْمِسُ خَشَبَ الأَرْزِ وَالزُّوفَا وَالْخَيْطَ الأَحْمَرَ وَالْعُصْفُورَ الْحَيَّ بِدَمِ الْعُصْفُورِ الْمَذْبُوحِ وَبِالْمَاءِ الْجَارِي، وَيَرُشُّ الْبَيْتَ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ،

He shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times.

٥٢ 52 وَيُطَهِّرُ الْبَيْتَ بِدَمِ الْعُصْفُورِ وَبِالْمَاءِ الْجَارِي وَبِالْعُصْفُورِ الْحَيِّ وَبِخَشَبِ الأَرْزِ وَالزُّوفَا وَالْخَيْطِ الأَحْمَرِ.

He shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, with the living bird, with the cedar wood, with the hyssop, and with the scarlet;

٥٣ 53 ثُمَّ يُطْلِقُ الْعُصْفُورَ الْحَيَّ إِلَى خَارِجِ الْمَدِينَةِ عَلَى وَجْهِ الصَّحْرَاءِ، تَكْفِيراً عَنِ الْبَيْتِ، فَيُصْبِحُ طَاهِراً.

but he shall let the living bird go out of the city into the open field. So shall he make atonement for the house; and it shall be clean."

٥٤ 54 هَذِهِ هِيَ نُصُوصُ التَّعْلِيمَاتِ الْمُتَعَلِّقَةِ بِكُلِّ أَنْوَاعِ إِصَابَاتِ الْبَرَصِ وَالْقَرَعِ،

This is the law for any plague of leprosy, and for an itch,

٥٥ 55 الَّتِي مِنْهَا بَرَصُ الثَّوْبِ وَالْبَيْتِ،

and for the destructive mildew of a garment, and for a house,

٥٦ 56 وَالْوَرَمُ الْجِلْدِيُّ وَالْقُوبَاءُ وَالْبُقْعَةُ اللّامِعَةُ.

and for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot;

٥٧ 57 وَهَذِهِ التَّعْلِيمَاتُ هِيَ لِلتَّمْيِيزِ بَيْنَ مَا هُوَ نَجِسٌ وَمَا هُوَ طَاهِرٌ فِي حَالَةِ الإِصَابَةِ بِمَا يَبْدُو أَنَّهُ دَاءُ الْبَرَصِ».

to teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean. This is the law of leprosy.
