< أيُّوب 25 >

فَقَالَ بِلْدَدُ الشُّوحِيُّ: ١ 1
Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,
«لِلهِ السُّلْطَانُ وَالْهَيْبَةُ، يَصْنَعُ السَّلاَمَ فِي أَعَالِيهِ. ٢ 2
"Dominion and fear are with him. He makes peace in his high places.
هَلْ مِنْ إِحْصَاءٍ لأَجْنَادِهِ، وَعَلَى مَنْ لاَ يُشْرِقُ نُورُهُ؟ ٣ 3
Can his armies be counted? On whom does his light not arise?
فَكَيْفَ يَتَبَرَّرُ الإِنْسَانُ عِنْدَ اللهِ، وَكَيْفَ يَزْكُو مَوْلُودُ الْمَرْأَةِ؟ ٤ 4
How then can man be just with God? Or how can he who is born of a woman be clean?
فَإِنْ كَانَ الْقَمَرُ لاَ يُضِيءُ، وَالْكَوَاكِبُ غَيْرَ نَقِيَّةٍ فِي عَيْنَيْهِ، ٥ 5
Look, even the moon has no brightness, and the stars are not pure in his sight;
فَكَمْ بِالْحَرِيِّ الإِنْسَانُ الرِّمَّةُ وَابْنُ آدَمَ الدُّودُ؟» ٦ 6
How much less man, who is a worm, the son of man, who is a worm."
