تكوين 48

١ 1 ثُمَّ مَا لَبِثَ أَنْ قِيلَ لِيُوسُفَ: «أَبُوكَ مَرِيضٌ» فَاصْطَحَبَ مَعَهُ ابْنَيْهِ مَنَسَّى وَأَفْرَايِمَ.

and to be after [the] word: thing [the] these and to say to/for Joseph behold father your be weak: ill and to take: take [obj] two son: child his with him [obj] Manasseh and [obj] Ephraim

٢ 2 وَقِيلَ لِيَعْقُوبَ: «ابْنُكَ يُوسُفُ قَادِمٌ إِلَيْكَ». فَاسْتَجْمَعَ قُوَاهُ وَجَلَسَ عَلَى السَّرِيرِ.

and to tell to/for Jacob and to say behold son: child your Joseph to come (in): come to(wards) you and to strengthen: strengthen Israel and to dwell upon [the] bed

٣ 3 وَقَالَ يَعْقُوبُ لِيُوسُفَ: «تَجَلَّى اللهُ الْقَدِيرُ لِي فِي لُوزَ فِي أَرْضِ كَنْعَانَ وَبَارَكَنِي،

and to say Jacob to(wards) Joseph God Almighty to see: see to(wards) me in/on/with Luz in/on/with land: country/planet Canaan and to bless [obj] me

٤ 4 وَقَالَ لِي: هَا أَنَا أَجْعَلُكَ مُثْمِراً، وَأُكَثِّرُكَ وَيَخْرُجُ مِنْ صُلْبِكَ جُمْهُورُ شُعُوبٍ وَأَهَبُ ذُرِّيَّتَكَ هَذِهِ الأَرْضَ مِلْكاً أَبَدِيّاً.

٥ 5 وَالآنَ، إِنَّ ابْنَيْكَ أَفْرَايِمَ وَمَنَسَّى اللَّذَيْنِ أَنْجَبْتَهُمَا فِي مِصْرَ قَبْلَ مَجِيئِي إِلَيْكَ هُنَا هُمَا لِي يَرِثَانِنِي كَرَأُوبَيْنَ وَشِمْعُونَ.

٦ 6 وَأَمَّا أَوْلاَدُكَ الَّذِينَ تُنْجِبُهُمْ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ، فَيَكُونُونَ لَكَ، وَمَا يَرِثُونَهُ يَكُونُ تَحْتَ اسْمِ أَخَوَيْهِمْ.

٧ 7 لأَنَّنِي فِيمَا كُنْتُ رَاجِعاً مِنْ سَهْلِ آرَامَ، مَاتَتْ رَاحِيلُ فِي أَرْضِ كَنْعَانَ فِي الطَّرِيقِ عَلَى مَقْرُبَةٍ مِنْ أَفْرَاتَةَ، فَدَفَنْتُهَا فِي الطَّرِيقِ الْمُؤَدِّيَةِ إِلَى أَفْرَاتَةَ، الَّتِي هِيَ بَيْتُ لَحْمٍ».

٨ 8 وَأَبْصَرَ إِسْرَائِيلُ ابْنَيْ يُوسُفَ فَسَأَلَ: «مَنْ هَذَانِ؟»

٩ 9 فَأَجَابَهُ يُوسُفُ: «هُمَا ابْنَايَ اللَّذَانِ رَزَقَنِي إِيَّاهُمَا اللهُ هُنَا». فَقَالَ: «أَدْنِهُمَا مِنِّي فَأُبَارِكَهُمَا».

١٠ 10 وَكَانَتْ عَيْنَا إِسْرَائِيلَ قَدْ كَلَّتَا مِنَ الشَّيْخُوخَةِ، فَلَمْ يَكُنْ قَادِراً عَلَى النَّظَرِ، فَقَرَّبَهُمَا إِلَيْهِ فَقَبَّلَهُمَا وَاحْتَضَنَهُمَا

١١ 11 وَقَالَ إِسْرَائِيلُ لِيُوسُفَ: «مَا كُنْتُ أَظُنُّ أَنَّنِي أُبْصِرُ وَجْهَكَ، وَهُوَذَا اللهُ قَدْ أَرَانِي ذُرِّيَّتَكَ أَيْضاً».

١٢ 12 ثُمَّ أَبْعَدَهُمَا يُوسُفُ عَنْ حِضْنِ أَبِيهِ وَسَجَدَ فِي حَضْرَتِهِ إِلَى الأَرْضِ.

١٣ 13 وَأَخَذَ يُوسُفُ أَفْرَايِمَ بِيَمِينِهِ وَأَوْقَفَهُ إِلَى يَسَارِ إِسْرَائِيلَ، وَأَخَذَ مَنَسَّى بِيَسَارِهِ وَأَوْقَفَهُ إِلَى يَمِينِهِ،

and to take: take Joseph [obj] two their [obj] Ephraim in/on/with right his from left Israel and [obj] Manasseh in/on/with left his from right Israel and to approach: bring to(wards) him

١٤ 14 فَمَدَّ إِسْرَائِيلُ يَمِينَهُ، مُتَعَمِّداً، وَوَضَعَهَا عَلَى رَأْسِ أَفْرَايِمَ وَهُوَ الصَّغِيرُ، وَيَسَارَهُ عَلَى رَأْسِ مَنَسَّى مَعْ أَنَّهُ الْبِكْرُ.

and to send: reach Israel [obj] right his and to set: put upon head Ephraim and he/she/it [the] little and [obj] left his upon head Manasseh to cross hands [obj] hand his for Manasseh [the] firstborn

١٥ 15 وَبَارَكَ يُوسُفَ قَائِلاً: «إِنَّ اللهَ الَّذِي سَلَكَ أَمَامَهُ أَبَوَايَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ وَإِسْحقُ، اللهَ الَّذِي رَعَانِي مُنْذُ وُجُودِي إِلَى هَذَا الْيَوْمِ،

and to bless [obj] Joseph and to say [the] God which to go: walk father my to/for face: before his Abraham and Isaac [the] God [the] to pasture [obj] me from still my till [the] day: today [the] this

١٦ 16 الْمَلاَكَ الَّذِي أَنْقَذَنِي مِنْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ، يُبَارِكُ الْغُلاَمَيْنِ، وَلْيُدْعَ عَلَيْهِمَا اسْمِي وَاسْمَا أَبَوَيَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْحقَ، وَلْيَكْثُرَا كَثِيراً فِي الأَرْضِ».

١٧ 17 وَعِنْدَمَا رَأَى يُوسُفُ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ قَدْ وَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى رَأْسِ أَفْرَايِمَ سَاءَهُ ذَلِكَ، فَأَمْسَكَ بِيَدِ أَبِيهِ لِيَنْقُلَهَا مِنْ رَأْسِ أَفْرَايِمَ إِلَى رَأْسِ مَنَسَّى.

١٨ 18 وَقَالَ يُوسُفُ لأَبِيهِ: «لَيْسَ هَكَذَا يَاأَبِي. فَهَذَا هُوَ الْبِكْرُ، ضَعْ يَمِينَكَ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ».

١٩ 19 فَأَبَى أَبُوهُ وَقَالَ: «أَنَا أَعْرِفُ هَذَا يَاابْنِي، أَنَا أَعْرِفُ هَذَا، فَإِنَّهُ أَيْضاً يُصْبِحُ أُمَّةً عَظِيمَةً، وَلَكِنَّ أَخَاهُ الصَّغِيرَ يُصْبِحُ أَكْبَرَ مِنْهُ، وَذُرِّيَّتَهُ تَصِيرُ جُمْهُوراً مِنَ الأُمَمِ».

٢٠ 20 وَبَارَكَهُمَا فِي ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ قَائِلاً: «بِكَ يَتَبَارَكُ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ قَائِلِينَ: «لِيَجْعَلْكَ اللهُ مِثْلَ أَفْرَايِمَ وَمِثْلَ مَنَسَّى». وَهَكَذَا قَدَّمَ أَفْرَايِمَ عَلَى مَنَسَّى.

٢١ 21 ثُمَّ قَالَ إِسْرَائِيلُ لِيُوسُفَ: «إِنَّنِي مُشْرِفٌ عَلَى الْمَوْتِ وَلَكِنَّ اللهَ سَيَكُونُ مَعَكُمْ وَيَرُدُّكُمْ إِلَى أَرْضِ آبَائِكُمْ.

٢٢ 22 وَهَا أَنَا قَدْ وَهَبْتُ لَكَ مِنَ الأَرْضِ سَهْماً وَاحِداً عَلاَوَةً عَلَى إِخْوَتِكَ، أَخَذْتُهُ مِنَ الأَمُورِيِّينَ بِسَيْفِي وَقَوْسِي».
