خرُوج 31

١ 1 وَخَاطَبَ الرَّبُّ مُوسَى:

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

٢ 2 «هَا أَنَا قَدْ دَعَوْتُ بَصَلْئِيلَ بْنَ أُوْرِي، حَفِيدَ حُورَ مِنْ سِبْطِ يَهُوذَا، بِاسْمِهِ،

Behold, I have called by name Beseleel the son of Urias the son of Or, of the tribe of Juda.

٣ 3 وَمَلأْتُهُ مِنْ رُوحِ اللهِ وَوَهَبْتُهُ حِكْمَةً وَمَهَارَةً وَمَقْدِرَةً وَمَعْرِفَةً فِي كُلِّ أَنْوَاعِ الْحِرَفِ،

And I have filled him [with] a divine spirit of wisdom, and understanding, and knowledge, to invent in every work,

٤ 4 وَلِابْتِكَارِ فُنُونِ التَّصْمِيمَاتِ الْمَصْنُوعَةِ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ وَالنُّحَاسِ،

and to frame works, to labour in gold, and silver, and brass, and blue, and purple, and spun scarlet,

٥ 5 وَصَقْلِ الْجَوَاهِرِ وَتَرْصِيعِهَا، وَنِجَارَةِ الْخَشَبِ، وَلِيَكُونَ مُحْتَرِفاً لِكُلِّ صِنَاعَةٍ.

and works in stone, and for artificers' work in wood, to work at all works.

٦ 6 كَمَا اخْتَرْتُ أُهُولِيآبَ بْنَ أَخِيسَامَاكَ مِنْ سِبْطِ دَانَ، لِيَكُونَ مُسَاعِداً لَهُ. وَكَذَلِكَ وَهَبْتُ جَمِيعَ الصُّنَّاعِ مَهَارَةً خَاصَّةً لِيَقُومُوا بِكُلِّ مَا أَمَرْتُكَ بِهِ.

And I have appointed him and Eliab the [son] of Achisamach of the tribe of Dan, and to every one understanding in heart I have given understanding; and they shall make all things as many as I have appointed thee, —

٧ 7 فِي صُنْعِ خَيْمَةِ الاجْتِمَاعِ وَتَابُوتِ الشَّهَادَةِ وَالْغِطَاءِ الَّذِي عَلَيْهِ وَسَائِرِ آنِيَةِ الْخَيْمَةِ،

the tabernacle of witness, and the ark of the covenant, and the propitiatory that is upon it, and the furniture of the tabernacle,

٨ 8 كَالْمَائِدَةِ وَآنِيَتِهَا، وَالْمَنَارَةِ الذَّهَبِيَّةِ الطَّاهِرَةِ، وَكُلِّ آنِيَتِهَا، وَمَذْبَحِ الْبَخُورِ،

and the altars, and the table and all its furniture,

٩ 9 وَمَذْبَحِ الْمُحْرَقَةِ وَكُلِّ آنِيَتِهِ، وَحَوْضِ الاغْتِسَالِ وَقَاعِدَتِهِ.

and the pure candlestick and all its furniture, and the laver and its base,

١٠ 10 وَكَذَلِكَ الثِّيَابِ الْمَنْسُوجَةِ، ثِيَابِ هَرُونَ الْكَاهِنِ الْمُقَدَّسَةِ وَثِيَابِ بَنِيهِ الْقَائِمِينَ عَلَى خِدْمَةِ الْكِهَانَةِ،

and Aaron's robes of ministry, and the robes of his sons to minister to me as priests,

١١ 11 وَدُهْنِ الْمَسْحَةِ وَالْبَخُورِ الْعَطِرِ لِلْقُدْسِ. فَيَعْمَلُونَ هَذِهِ كُلَّهَا بِمُقْتَضَى كُلِّ مَا أَمَرْتُكَ بِهِ».

and the anointing oil and the compound incense of the sanctuary; according to all that I have commanded thee shall they make them.

١٢ 12 وَقَالَ الرَّبُّ لِمُوسَى:

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

١٣ 13 «قُلْ لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ: احْفَظُوا أَيَّامَ سُبُوتِي لأَنَّهَا عَلاَمَةُ الْعَهْدِ الَّذِي بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ، عَلَى مَرِّ الأَجْيَالِ، لِتَعْلَمُوا أَنِّي أَنَا الرَّبُّ الَّذِي يُقَدِّسُكُمْ.

Do thou also charge the children of Israel, saying, Take heed and keep my sabbaths; [for] they are a sign with me and among you throughout your generations, that ye may know that I am the Lord that sanctifies you.

١٤ 14 احْفَظُوا يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ لأَنَّهُ مُقَدَّسٌ لَكُمْ. مَنْ يُدَنِّسْهُ حَتْماً يَمُتْ. فَكُلُّ مَنْ يَقُومُ فِيهِ بِعَمَلٍ، تُسْتَأْصَلُ تِلْكَ النَّفْسُ مِنْ بَيْنِ قَوْمِهَا.

And ye shall keep the sabbaths, because this is holy to the Lord for you; he that profanes it shall surely be put to death: every one who shall do a work on it, that soul shall be destroyed from the midst of his people.

١٥ 15 فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ تَعْمَلُونَ، أَمَّا يَوْمُ السَّبْتِ فَهُوَ يَوْمُ عُطْلَةٍ مُقَدَّسٌ لِلرَّبِّ. كُلُّ مَنْ يَقُومُ بِعَمَلٍ فِي يَوْمِ السَّبْتِ يُقْتَلُ حَتْماً.

Six days thou shalt do works, but the seventh day is the sabbath, a holy rest to the Lord; every one who shall do a work on the seventh day shall be put to death.

١٦ 16 لِيَحْفَظْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ السَّبْتَ وَيَحْتَفِلُوا بِهِ فِي كُلِّ أَجْيَالِهِمْ عَهْداً أَبَدِيّاً.

And the children of Israel shall keep the sabbaths, to observe them throughout their generations.

١٧ 17 هُوَ بَيْنِي وَبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ عَلاَمَةُ عَهْدٍ إِلَى الأَبَدِ، لأَنَّهُ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ صَنَعَ الرَّبُّ السَّمَاءَ وَالأَرْضَ، وَفِي الْيَوْمِ السَّابِعِ فَرَغَ مِنَ الْعَمَلِ وَاسْتَرَاحَ».

It is a perpetual covenant with me and the children of Israel, it is a perpetual sign with me; for in six days the Lord made the heaven and the earth, and on the seventh day he ceased, and rested.

١٨ 18 وَعِنْدَمَا فَرَغَ اللهُ مِنْ مُخَاطَبَةِ مُوسَى فِي جَبَلِ سِينَاءَ، أَعْطَاهُ لَوْحَيِ الشَّهَادَةِ، وَهُمَا لَوْحَانِ مِنْ حَجَرٍ مَكْتُوبَانِ بِإِصْبَعِ اللهِ.

And he gave to Moses when he left off speaking to him in mount Sina the two tables of testimony, tables of stone written [upon] with the finger of God.
