| فِي السَّنَةِ الأُولَى مِنْ حُكْمِ دَارِيُّوسَ بْنِ أَحْشَوِيرُوشَ مِنْ ذُرِّيَّةِ الْمَادِيِّينَ، الَّذِي اعْتَلَى عَرْشَ مَمْلَكَةِ الْكَلْدَانِيِّينَ. | ١ 1 |
in/on/with year one to/for Darius son: child Ahasuerus from seed: children Mede which to reign upon royalty Chaldea
| فِي السَّنَةِ الأُولَى مِنْ مُلْكِهِ، أَدْرَكْتُ أَنَا دَانِيآلَ، مِنْ دِرَاسَةِ الأَسْفَارِ الَّتِي دُوِّنَ فِيهَا وَحْيُ الرَّبِّ إِلَى إِرْمِيَا، أَنَّ عَدَدَ السَّنَوَاتِ الَّتِي قُضِيَ بِهَا عَلَى خَرَابِ أُورُشَلِيمَ هُوَ سَبْعُونَ سَنَةً. | ٢ 2 |

| فَاتَّجَهْتُ بِنَفْسِي إِلَى السَّيِّدِ الرَّبِّ، أَبْتَهِلُ إِلَيهِ بِالْصَّلاَةِ وَالتَّضَرُّعَاتِ وَالصَّوْمِ وَارْتِدَاءِ الْمَسْحِ وَالتَّعَفُّرِ بِالرَّمَادِ. | ٣ 3 |
and to give: put [emph?] [obj] face my to(wards) Lord [the] God to/for to seek prayer and supplication in/on/with fast and sackcloth and ashes
| وَصَلَّيْتُ إِلَى الرَّبِّ إِلَهِي وَاعْتَرَفْتُ قَائِلاً: «أَيُّهَا الرَّبُّ الإِلَهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْمَهُوبُ، حَافِظُ الْعَهْدِ وَالرَّحْمَةِ لِمُحِبِّيهِ وَعَامِلِي وَصَايَاهُ. | ٤ 4 |
and to pray [emph?] to/for LORD God my and to give thanks and to say [emph?] Please! Lord [the] God [the] great: large and [the] to fear: revere to keep: obey [the] covenant and [the] kindness to/for to love: lover him and to/for to keep: obey commandment his
| إِنَّنَا أَخْطَأْنَا وَأَثِمْنَا وَارْتَكَبْنَا الشَّرَّ، وَتَمَرَّدْنَا وَانْحَرَفْنَا عَنْ وَصَايَاكَ وَأَحْكَامِكَ. | ٥ 5 |
to sin and to pervert (be wicked *QK) and to rebel and to turn aside: turn aside from commandment your and from justice: judgement your
| وَلَمْ نَسْمَعْ لِعَبِيدِكَ الأَنْبِيَاءِ الَّذِينَ بِاسْمِكَ أَنْذَرُوا مُلُوكَنَا وَرُؤَسَاءَنَا وَآبَاءَنَا وَجَمِيعَ شَعْبِ الأَرْضِ. | ٦ 6 |
and not to hear: hear to(wards) servant/slave your [the] prophet which to speak: speak in/on/with name your to(wards) king our ruler our and father our and to(wards) all people [the] land: country/planet
| لَكَ أَيُّهَا السَّيِّدُ الْبِرُّ، وَلَنَا الْخِزْيُ، كَمَا هُوَ حَادِثٌ الْيَوْمَ لِرِجَالِ يَهُوذَا وَلأَهْلِ أُورُشَلِيمَ، وَلِسَائِرِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْقَرِيبِينَ وَالْبَعِيدِينَ، الْمُشَتَّتِينَ فِي كُلِّ الْبُلْدَانِ الَّتِي أَجْلَيْتَهُمْ إِلَيْهَا عِقَاباً لَهُمْ عَلَى مَا اقْتَرَفُوهُ مِنْ خِيَانَةٍ فِي حَقِّكَ. | ٧ 7 |
to/for you Lord [the] righteousness and to/for us shame [the] face of like/as day: today [the] this to/for man: anyone Judah and to/for to dwell Jerusalem and to/for all Israel [the] near and [the] distant in/on/with all [the] land: country/planet which to banish them there in/on/with unfaithfulness their which be unfaithful in/on/with you
| فَلَنَا أَيُّهَا السَّيِّدُ الْخِزْيُ، نَحْنُ وَمُلُوكِنَا وَرُؤَسَائِنَا وَآبَائِنَا، لأَنَّنَا أَخْطَأْنَا إِلَيْكَ. | ٨ 8 |
LORD to/for us shame [the] face of to/for king our to/for ruler our and to/for father our which to sin to/for you
| إِنَّمَا لِلرَّبِّ إِلَهِنَا الرَّحْمَةُ وَالْمَغْفِرَةُ لأَنَّنَا عَصَيْنَاكَ. | ٩ 9 |
to/for Lord God our [the] compassion and [the] forgiveness for to rebel in/on/with him
| وَلَمْ نُطِعْ صَوْتَ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِنَا لِنَسْلُكَ فِي شَرَائِعِهِ الَّتِي أَعْلَنَهَا لَنَا عَلَى لِسَانِ عَبِيدِهِ الأَنْبِيَاءِ. | ١٠ 10 |
and not to hear: obey in/on/with voice LORD God our to/for to go: walk in/on/with instruction his which to give: put to/for face: before our in/on/with hand: by servant/slave his [the] prophet
| قَدْ تَعَدَّى كُلُّ شَعْبِ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَلَى شَرِيعَتِكَ، وَانْحَرَفُوا فَلَمْ يَسْمَعُوا صَوْتَكَ، فَسَكَبْتَ عَلَيْنَا اللَّعْنَةَ وَمَا أَقْسَمْتَ أَنْ تُوْقِعَهُ بِنَا، كَمَا نَصَّتْ عَلَيْهِ شَرِيعَةُ مُوسَى عَبْدِ اللهِ، لأَنَّنَا أَخْطَأْنَا إِلَيْكَ. | ١١ 11 |

| وَقَدْ نَفَّذْتَ قَضَاءَكَ الَّذِي قَضَيْتَ بِهِ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى قُضَاتِنَا الَّذِينَ تَوَلَّوْا أَمْرَنَا، جَالِباً عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى أُورُشَلِيمَ شَرّاً عَظِيماً لَمْ يَحْدُثْ لَهُ مَثِيلٌ تَحْتَ السَّمَاءِ. | ١٢ 12 |
and to arise: establish [obj] (word his *QK) which to speak: speak upon us and upon to judge us which to judge us to/for to come (in): bring upon us distress: harm great: large which not to make: do underneath: under all [the] heaven like/as as which to make: do in/on/with Jerusalem
| وَكَمَا وَرَدَ فِي شَرِيعَةِ مُوسَى، أَصَابَنَا جَمِيعُ هَذَا الْبَلاَءِ، وَلَمْ نَسْتَعْطِفْ وَجْهَكَ أَيُّهَا الرَّبُّ إِلَهُنَا تَائِبِينَ عَنْ آثَامِنَا وَمُتَنَبِّهِينَ لِحَقِّكَ. | ١٣ 13 |

| فَأَضْمَرْتَ لَنَا الْعِقَابَ وَأَوْقَعْتَهُ بِنَا لأَنَّكَ إِلَهُنَا الْبَارُّ فِي كُلِّ أَعْمَالِكَ الَّتِي صَنَعْتَهَا لأَنَّنَا لَمْ نَسْتَمِعْ إِلَيْكَ. | ١٤ 14 |
and to watch LORD upon [the] distress: harm and to come (in): bring her upon us for righteous LORD God our upon all deed his which to make: do and not to hear: obey in/on/with voice his
| وَالآنَ أَيُّهَا السَّيِّدُ إِلَهُنَا، يَامَنْ أَخْرَجْتَ شَعْبَكَ مِنْ دِيَارِ مِصْرَ بِقُوَّةٍ مُقْتَدِرَةٍ، وَأَشْهَرْتَ اسْمَكَ كَمَا هُوَ حَادِثٌ الْيَوْمَ، قَدْ أَخْطَأْنَا وَارْتَكَبْنَا الشَّرَّ. | ١٥ 15 |
and now Lord God our which to come out: send [obj] people your from land: country/planet Egypt in/on/with hand: power strong and to make to/for you name like/as day: today [the] this to sin be wicked
| فَاصْرِفْ يَاسَيِّدُ، حَسَبَ رَحْمَتِكَ، سَخَطَكَ وَغَضَبَكَ عَنْ مَدِينَتِكَ أُورُشَلِيمَ جَبَلِ قُدْسِكَ إِذْ مِنْ جَرَّاءِ خَطَايَانَا وَآثَامِ آبَائِنَا أَصْبَحَتْ أُورُشَلِيمُ مَثَارَ عَارٍ لَنَا عِنْدَ جَمِيعِ الْمُحِيطِينَ بِنَا. | ١٦ 16 |

| فَأَنْصِتِ الآنَ يَاإِلَهَنَا إِلَى صَلاَةِ عَبْدِكَ وَابْتِهَالاَتِهِ، وَأَضِئْ بِوَجْهِكَ عَلَى هَيْكَلِكَ الْمُتَهَدِّمِ، مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَاتِكَ. | ١٧ 17 |
and now to hear: hear God our to(wards) prayer servant/slave your and to(wards) supplication his and to light face your upon sanctuary your [the] devastated because Lord
| أَرْهِفْ أُذُنَكَ يَاإِلَهِي وَاسْتَمِعْ، وَافْتَحْ عَيْنَيْكَ وَشَاهِدْ خَرَائِبَنَا وَالْمَدِينَةَ الَّتِي دُعِيَ اسْمُكَ عَلَيْهَا، فَإِنَّنَا لاَ مِنْ أَجْلِ بِرٍّ فِينَا نَرْفَعُ تَضَرُّعَاتِنَا إِلَيْكَ، بَلْ بِفَضْلِ مَرَاحِمِكَ الْعَظِيمَةِ. | ١٨ 18 |

| فَاسْتَمِعْ أَيُّهَا السَّيِّدُ وَاغْفِرْ. أَصْغِ أَيُّهَا السَّيِّدُ وَتَصَرَّفْ وَلاَ تُبْطِىءْ مِنْ أَجْلِ نَفْسِكَ يَاإِلَهِي، لأَنَّ اسْمَكَ دُعِيَ عَلَى مَدِينَتِكَ وَعَلَى شَعْبِكَ». | ١٩ 19 |

| وَبَيْنَمَا كُنْتُ أُصَلِّي وَأَعْتَرِفُ بِخَطِيئَتِي وَخَطِيئَةِ شَعْبِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، وَأَرْفَعُ تَضَرُّعَاتِي أَمَامَ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِي مِنْ أَجْلِ جَبَلِ قُدْسِ إِلَهِي، | ٢٠ 20 |

| إِذَا بِالْمَلاَكِ جِبْرَائِيلَ الَّذِي عَايَنْتُهُ فِي الرُّؤْيَا فِي الْبَدْءِ، قَدْ طَارَ إِلَيَّ مُسْرِعاً وَلَمَسَنِي، فِي مَوْعِدِ تَقْدِمَةِ الْمَسَاءِ. | ٢١ 21 |

| وَأَفْهَمَنِي قَائِلاً: يَادَانِيآلُ قَدْ جِئْتُ لأُعَلِّمَكَ الْفَهْمَ. | ٢٢ 22 |
and to understand and to speak: speak with me and to say Daniel now to come out: come to/for be prudent you understanding
| فَمُنْذُ أَنْ شَرَعْتَ فِي تَضَرُّعَاتِكَ صَدَرَ إِلَيَّ الأَمْرُ لأَجِيءَ إِلَيْكَ وَأُطْلِعَكَ عَلَى مَا تَبْغِي، لأَنَّكَ مَحْبُوبٌ جِدّاً، لِهَذَا تَأَمَّلْ مَا أَقُولُ وَافْهَمِ الرُّؤْيَا. | ٢٣ 23 |

| قَدْ صَدَرَ الْقَضَاءُ أَنْ يَمْضِيَ سَبْعُونَ أُسْبُوعاً عَلَى شَعْبِكَ وَعَلَى مَدِينَةِ قُدْسِكَ، لِلانْتِهَاءِ مِنَ الْمَعْصِيَةِ وَالْقَضَاءِ عَلَى الْخَطِيئَةِ، وَلِلتَّكْفِيرِ عَنِ الإِثْمِ، وَلإِشَاعَةِ الْبِرِّ الأَبَدِيِّ وَخَتْمِ الرُّؤْيَا وَالنُّبُوءَةِ وَلِمَسْحِ قُدُّوسِ الْقُدُّوسِينَ. | ٢٤ 24 |

| لِهَذَا فَاعْلَمْ وَافْهَمْ أَنَّ الْحِقْبَةَ الْمُمْتَدَّةَ مُنْذُ صُدُورِ الأَمْرِ بِإِعَادَةِ بِنَاءِ أُورُشَلِيمَ إِلَى مَجِيءِ الْمَسِيحِ، سَبْعَةُ أَسَابِيعَ، ثُمَّ اثْنَانِ وَسِتُّونَ أُسْبُوعاً يُبْنَى فِي غُضُونِهَا سُوقٌ وَخَلِيجٌ. إِنَّمَا تَكُونُ تِلْكَ أَزْمِنَةَ ضِيقٍ. | ٢٥ 25 |

| وَبَعْدَ اثْنَيْنِ وَسِتِّينَ أُسْبُوعاً يُقْتَلُ الْمَسِيحُ، وَلَكِنْ لَيْسَ مِنْ أَجْلِ نَفْسِهِ، وَيُدَمِّرُ شَعْبُ رَئِيسٍ آتٍ الْمَدِينَةَ وَالْقُدْسَ، وَتُقْبِلُ آخِرَتُهَا كَطُوفَانٍ، وَتَسْتَمِرُّ الْحَرْبُ حَتَّى النِّهَايَةِ، وَيَعُمُّ الْخَرَابُ الْمَقْضِيُّ بِهِ. | ٢٦ 26 |

| وَيُبْرِمُ عَهْداً ثَابِتاً مَعَ كَثِيرِينَ لِمُدَّةِ أُسْبُوعٍ وَاحِدٍ، وَلَكِنَّهُ فِي وَسَطِ الأُسْبُوعِ يُبْطِلُ الذَّبِيحَةَ وَالتَّقْدِمَةَ، وَيُقِيمُ عَلَى جَنَاحِ الْهَيْكَلِ رَجَاسَةَ الْخَرَابِ، إِلَى أَنْ يَتِمَّ الْقَضَاءُ، فَيَنْصَبُّ الْعِقَابُ عَلَى الْمُخَرِّبِ». | ٢٧ 27 |
and to prevail covenant to/for many week one and half [the] week to cease sacrifice and offering and upon wing abomination be desolate: destroyed and till consumption and to decide to pour upon be desolate: destroyed
