1 مُلُوك 4

١ 1 وَمَلَكَ سُلَيْمَانُ عَلَى كُلِّ أَرْجَاءِ إِسْرَائِيلَ.

٢ 2 وَهَذِهِ أَسْمَاءُ كِبَارِ مُعَاوِنِيهِ: عَزَرْيَاهُو بْنُ صَادُوقَ الْكَاهِنِ،

٣ 3 وَأَلِيحُورَفُ وَأَخِيَّا ابْنَا شِيشَا كَاتِبَا الْبَلاَطِ، وَيَهُوشَافَاطُ بْنُ أَخِيلُودَ الْمَسْؤُولُ عَنِ السِّجِلاَتِ،

٨ 8 وَهَذِهِ هِيَ أَسْمَاؤُهُمْ: ابْنُ حُورَ فِي جَبَلِ أَفْرَايِمَ.

٩ 9 ابْنُ دَقَرَ فِي مَاقَصَ وَشَعَلُبِّيمَ وَبَيْتِ شَمْسٍ وَأَيْلُونِ بَيْتِ حَانَانَ.

١٣ 13 ابْنُ جَابَرَ فِي رَامُوتِ جِلْعَادَ، بِمَا فِي ذَلِكَ قُرَى يَائِيرَ بْنِ مَنَسَّى فِي جِلْعَادَ، وَإِقْلِيمُ أَرْجُوبَ فِي بَاشَانَ، وَهِيَ سِتُّونَ مَدِينَةً ذَاتَ أَسْوَارٍ وَبَوَّابَاتٍ لَهَا أَرْتَاجٌ نُحَاسِيَّةٌ.

١٦ 16 بَعْنَا بْنُ حُوشَايَ فِي أَشِيرَ وَبَعَلُوتَ.

١٧ 17 يَهُوشَافَاطُ بْنُ فَارُوحَ فِي يَسَّاكَرَ.

١٩ 19 جَابِرُ بْنُ أُورِي فِي أَرْضِ جِلْعَادَ الَّتِي كَانَتْ لِسِيحُونَ مَلِكِ الأَمُورِيِّينَ وَعُوجَ مَلِكِ بَاشَانَ، وَكَانَ يُشْرِفُ عَلَى هَؤُلاَءِ الْوُكَلاءِ مُرَاقِبٌ وَاحِدٌ عَامٌّ.

٢٠ 20 وَكَانَ عَدَدُ يَهُوذَا وَإِسْرَائِيلَ كَرَمْلِ الْبَحْرِ فِي الْكَثْرَةِ لاَ يُحْصَى، وَكَانُوا يَأْكُلُونَ وَيَشْرَبُونَ وَيَتَمَتَّعُونَ بِالسَّعَادَةِ.

٢١ 21 وَامْتَدَّ سُلْطَانُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَلَى جَمِيعِ الْمَمَالِكِ الْوَاقِعَةِ مَا بَيْنَ نَهْرِ الْفُرَاتِ إِلَى أَرْضِ الْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ وَحَتَّى تُخُومِ مِصْرَ. فَكَانَتْ هَذِهِ الْمَمَالِكُ تُقَدِّمُ لَهُ الْجِزْيَةَ وَتَخْضَعُ لَهُ كُلَّ أَيَّامِ حَيَاتِهِ.

٢٢ 22 وَكَانَتْ مُتَطَلَّبَاتُ الْقَصْرِ الْيَوْمِيَّةُ مِنَ الطَّعَامِ ثَلاَثِينَ كُرَّسَمِيذٍ (نَحْوِ سَبْعَةِ آلافٍ وَمِئَتَيْ لِتْرٍ)، وَسِتِّينَ كُرَّ دَقِيقٍ،

٢٣ 23 وَعَشَرَةَ ثِيرَانٍ مُسَمَّنَةٍ، وَعِشْرِينَ ثَوْراً مِنَ الْمَرَاعِي، وَمِئَةَ خَرُوفٍ، فَضْلاً عَنِ الأَيَائِلِ وَالْغِزْلاَنِ وَالْيَحَامِيرِ وَالإِوَزِّ الْمُسَمَّنِ،

ten cattle fat and twenty cattle pasture and hundred flock to/for alone from deer and gazelle and roebuck and fowl to fatten

٢٤ 24 لأَنَّ سُلْطَانَهُ كَانَ مُمْتَدّاً عَلَى كُلِّ الأَرَاضِي الْوَاقِعَةِ غَرْبِيَّ نَهْرِ الْفُرَاتِ مِنْ تَفْسَحَ إِلَى غَزَّةَ وَعَلَى مُلُوكِهَا، فَكَانَ السَّلاَمُ يُحِيطُ بِهِ مِنْ كُلِّ جَانِبٍ.

٢٥ 25 وَتَمَتَّعَ إِسْرَائِيلُ وَيَهُوذَا بِالأَمْنِ طَوَالَ حَيَاةِ سُلَيْمَانَ، فَكَانَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ يَسْتَمْتِعُ بِالْجُلُوسِ تَحْتَ ظِلاَلِ كَرْمَتِهِ وَتِينَتِهِ مِنْ دَانٍ إِلَى بِئْرِ سَبْعٍ

and to dwell Judah and Israel to/for security man: anyone underneath: under vine his and underneath: under fig his from Dan and till Beersheba Beersheba all day Solomon

٢٦ 26 وَكَانَ لِسُلَيْمَانَ أَرْبَعُونَ أَلْفَ مِذْوَدٍ لِخَيْلِ مَرْكَبَاتِهِ، وَاثْنَا عَشَرَ أَلْفَ فَارِسٍ.

٢٧ 27 وَكَانَ وُكَلاَءُ الْمَنَاطِقِ، كُلٌّ فِي شَهْرِهِ، يَمُدُّونَ الْمَلِكَ سُلَيْمَانَ وَكُلَّ مَنْ يَأْكُلُ عَلَى مَائِدَتِهِ بِالْمَؤُونَةِ، فَلَمْ يَفْتَقِرُوا إِلَى شَيْءٍ.

and to sustain [the] to stand [the] these [obj] [the] king Solomon and [obj] all [the] approaching to(wards) table [the] king Solomon man: anyone month his not to lack word: thing

٢٨ 28 وَكَذَلِكَ جَلَبُوا الشَّعِيرَ وَالتِّبْنَ لِخَيْلِ الْمَرْكَبَاتِ وَسِوَاهَا مِنَ الْجِيَادِ إِلَى الْمَوَاضِعِ الْمُعَيَّنَةِ لِكُلِّ وَكِيلٍ.

and [the] barley and [the] straw to/for horse and to/for steed to come (in): bring to(wards) [the] place which to be there man: anyone like/as justice: custom his

٢٩ 29 وَوَهَبَ اللهُ سُلَيْمَانَ حِكْمَةً وَفَهْماً فَائِقَيْنِ، وَرَحَابَةَ صَدْرٍ غَيْرَ مُتَنَاهِيَةٍ.

and to give: give God wisdom to/for Solomon and understanding to multiply much and width heart like/as sand which upon lip: shore [the] sea

٣٠ 30 وَتَفَوَّقَتْ حِكْمَةُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَلَى جَمِيعِ أَبْنَاءِ الْمَشْرِقِ وَكُلِّ حِكْمَةِ الْمِصْرِيِّينَ.

and to multiply wisdom Solomon from wisdom all son: descendant/people front: east and from all wisdom Egypt

٣١ 31 فَكَانَ أَكْثَرَ حِكْمَةً مِنْ جَمِيعِ النَّاسِ مِثْلَ إِيثَانَ الأَزْرَاحِيِّ وَهِيمَانَ وَكَلْكُولَ وَدَرْدَعَ أَبْنَاءِ مَاحُولَ. وَذَاعَ صِيتُهُ بَيْنَ جَمِيعِ الأُمَمِ الْمُجَاوِرَةِ.

٣٢ 32 وَنَطَقَ بِثَلاَثَةِ آلافِ مَثَلٍ، وَبَلَغَتْ أَنَاشِيدُهُ أَلْفاً وَخَمْسَ قَصَائِدَ.

٣٣ 33 وَوَصَفَ الْحَيَاةَ النَّبَاتِيَّةَ بِمَا فِي ذَلِكَ أَشْجَارُ الأَرْزِ فِي لُبْنَانَ، وَالزُّوفَا النَّابِتُ فِي الْحَائِطِ، كَمَا وَصَفَ الْبَهَائِمَ وَالطَّيْرَ وَالزَّوَاحِفَ وَالسَّمَكَ.

and to speak: speak upon [the] tree from [the] cedar which in/on/with Lebanon and till [the] hyssop which to come out: issue in/on/with wall and to speak: speak upon [the] animal and upon [the] bird and upon [the] creeping and upon [the] fish

٣٤ 34 فَأَقْبَلَ النَّاسُ مِنْ جَمِيعِ الأُمَمِ لِيَسْتَمِعُوا إِلَى حِكْمَةِ سُلَيْمَانَ، مُوْفَدِينَ مِنْ قِبَلِ مُلُوكِ الأَرْضِ الَّذِينَ بَلَغَتْهُمْ أَخْبَارُ حِكْمَتِهِ.

and to come (in): come from all [the] people to/for to hear: hear [obj] wisdom Solomon from with all king [the] land: country/planet which to hear: hear [obj] wisdom his
