1 كورنثوس 16

١ 1 وَأَمَّا بِخُصُوصِ جَمْعِ التَّبَرُّعَاتِ لِلْقِدِّيسِينَ، فَكَمَا أَوْصَيْتُ الْكَنَائِسَ فِي مُقَاطَعَةِ غَلاطِيَّةَ، كَذلِكَ اعْمَلُوا أَنْتُمْ أَيْضاً.

Now concerning the offering for the saints, you also are to do as I directed the church of Galatia.

٢ 2 فَفِي أَوَّلِ يَوْمٍ مِنَ الأُسْبُوعِ، لِيَضَعْ كُلٌّ مِنْكُمْ جَانِباً مَّا يَتَيَسَّرُ لَهُ مِمَّا يَكْسِبُهُ؛ وَلْيَحْتَفِظْ بِهِ، حَتَّى لَا يَحْصُلَ الْجَمْعُ عِنْدَمَا أَذْهَبُ إِلَيْكُمْ.

On the first day of each week let each of you put aside something, keeping it in store as he may prosper, so that when I come there may be no collections going on.

٣ 3 وَعِنْدَ وُصُولِي، أَبْعَثُ مَنْ تَسْتَحْسِنُونَ لِيَحْمِلُوا مَا تَكَرَّمْتُمْ بِهِ إِلَى أُورُشَلِيمَ، بَعْدَ أَنْ أُزَوِّدَهُمْ بِرَسَائِلَ.

On my arrival I will send those whom you may accredit by letter to carry your bounty to Jerusalem.

٤ 4 وَإِنْ كَانَ فِي الأَمْرِ مَا يَدْعُونِي إِلَى مُرَافَقَتِهِمْ، فَيَذْهَبُونَ مَعِي.

And if it is worth while for me to go too, they will accompany me.

٥ 5 وَلَكِنِّي سَأَذْهَبُ إِلَيْكُمْ لَدَى اجْتِيَازِي فِي مُقَاطَعَةِ مَقِدُونِيَّةَ، لأَنِّي إِنَّمَا سَأَجْتَازُ فِيهَا،

Now I shall come to you after I have gone through Macedonia.

٦ 6 وَرُبَّمَا أُقَضِّي عِنْدَكُمْ مُدَّةً مِنَ الزَّمَنِ، أَوْ رُبَّمَا أُقَضِّي الشِّتَاءَ كُلَّهُ عِنْدَكُمْ ثُمَّ تُسَهِّلُونَ لِي سَبِيلَ السَّفَرِ إِلَى أَيَّةِ جِهَةٍ أَذْهَبُ إِلَيْهَا.

I shall remain some time with you; possibly spending the winter, in order that you may help me forward in whatever journey I take.

٧ 7 فَأَنَا لَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَزُورَكُمْ كَعَابِرِ سَبِيلٍ هَذِهِ الْمَرَّةَ، بَلْ أَرْجُو أَنْ تَطُولَ إِقَامَتِي عِنْدَكُمْ إِنْ أَذِنَ الرَّبُّ.

For I do not wish at this present time to see you merely in passing; but if the Lord permits, I hope to remain some time with you.

٨ 8 عَلَى أَنِّي سَأَبْقَى فِي أَفَسُسَ حَتَّى الْيَوْمِ الْخَمْسِينَ (أَيْ عِيدِ الْحَصَادِ الْيَهُودِيِّ)

I am staying for the present in Ephesus, until Pentecost;

٩ 9 لأَنَّ بَاباً كَبِيراً وَفَعَّالاً قَدِ انْفَتَحَ لِي، وَالْمُقَاوِمُونَ كَثِيرُونَ!

for a door has opened to me, great and effectual, and the opponents are many.

١٠ 10 وَإذَا وَصَلَ تِيمُوثَاوُسُ إِلَيْكُمْ، فَاهْتَمُّوا بِأَنْ يَكُونَ مُطْمَئِنّاً عِنْدَكُمْ، لأَنَّهُ يَقُومُ بِعَمَلِ الرَّبِّ مِثْلِي.

If Timothy come, see to it that he is among you without trepidation; for he is doing the Lord’s work, as I am, so let no one disparage him.

١١ 11 فَلا يَسْتَخِفّ بِهِ أَحَدٌ، بَلْ سَهِّلُوا لَهُ السَّبِيلَ لِيَعُودَ إِلَيَّ بِسَلامٍ، فَأَنَا أَنْتَظِرُ وُصُولَهُ، مَعَ الإِخْوَةِ.

Whenever he comes to me, send him on his way in peace, for I am expecting him with the other brothers.

١٢ 12 أَمَّا الأَخُ أَبُلُّوسُ، فَكَثِيراً مَا طَلَبْتُ إِلَيْهِ أَنْ يُرَافِقَ الإِخْوَةَ فِي الذَّهَابِ إِلَيْكُمْ. وَلكِنْ، لَمْ تَكُنْ لَدَيْهِ رَغْبَةٌ قَطُّ فِي أَنْ يَذْهَبَ الآنَ. عَلَى أَنَّهُ سَيَذْهَبُ عِنْدَمَا تَتَوَفَّرُ لَهُ الْفُرْصَةُ الْمُنَاسِبَةُ.

As for our Apollos, I have many times urged him to go to you with the others, but he was always unwilling to go to you at this time. He will come, however, whenever he has a good opportunity.

١٣ 13 كُونُوا مُتَيَقِّظِينَ حَذِرِينَ. اثْبُتُوا فِي الإِيمَانِ. كُونُوا رِجَالاً. كُونُوا أَقْوِيَاءَ.

Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, be manly, be strong.

١٤ 14 وَكُلُّ مَا تَعْمَلُونَهُ، فَاعْمَلُوهُ فِي الْمَحَبَّةِ.

Let all that you do be done in love.

١٥ 15 عَلَى أَنِّي، أَيُّهَا الإِخْوَةُ، أَطْلُبُ إِلَيْكُمْ هَذَا الطَّلَبَ: أَنْتُمْ تَعْرِفُونَ عَائِلَةَ اسْتِفَانَاسَ، فَهُمْ بَاكُورَةُ أَخَائِيَةَ، وَقَدْ كَرَّسُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ لِخِدْمَةِ الْقِدِّيسِينَ،

I beg you this, my brothers - you know the household of Stephanus, that they were the first-fruits of Achaia, and that they devoted themselves to the service of the saints -

١٦ 16 فَاخْضَعُوا لَهُمْ وَلأَمْثَالِهِمْ، وَلِكُلِّ مَنْ يَشْتَرِكُ مَعَهُمْ بِاجْتِهَادٍ فِي الْعَمَلِ.

so I want you also to show deference to such, and to every fellow worker, and laborer.

١٧ 17 سُرِرْتُ كَثِيراً بِمَجِيءِ اسْتِفَانَاسَ وَفُرْتُونَاتُوسَ وَأَخَائِيكُوسَ. فَقَدْ نَابُوا عَنْكُمْ فِي سَدِّ الاحْتِيَاجِ.

I am glad that Stephanus and Fortunatus and Achaicus have arrived, for they have made up for your absence.

١٨ 18 إِذْ أَنْعَشُوا رُوحِي وَرُوحَكُمْ. فَقَدِّرُوا مِثْلَ هؤُلاءِ حَقَّ التَّقْدِيرِ!

They refresh my spirit as they do yours. So cultivate the acquaintance of such men.

١٩ 19 الْكَنَائِسُ فِي مُقَاطَعَةِ أَسِيَّا تُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْكُمْ. وَيُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الرَّبِّ كَثِيراً، أَكِيلا وَبِرِيسْكِلّا مَعَ الْكَنِيسَةِ الَّتِي فِي بَيْتِهِمَا.

The churches of Asia greet you. Aquila and Priscilla (Prisca), with the church that meets in their house, greet you heartily in the Lord.

٢٠ 20 جَمِيعُ الإِخْوَةِ يُسَلِّمُونَ عَلَيْكُمْ. سَلِّمُوا بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ بِقُبْلَةٍ طَاهِرَةٍ.

All the brothers send greetings. Greet one another with a holy kiss.

٢١ 21 وَإِلَيْكُمْ سَلامِي، أَنَا بُولُسَ، بِخَطِّ يَدِي.

The greeting of me, Paul, with my own hand.

٢٢ 22 إِنْ كَانَ أَحَدٌ لَا يُحِبُّ الرَّبَّ فَلْيَكُنْ «أَنَاثِيمَا» (أَيْ مَلْعُوناً)! «مَارَانَاثَا» (أَيْ رَبَّنَا، تَعَالَ)!

If any one does not love the Lord, let him be accursed. Our Lord is coming.

٢٣ 23 لِتَكُنْ مَعَكُمْ نِعْمَةُ الرَّبِّ يَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحِ!

The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

٢٤ 24 وَلَكُمْ جَمِيعاً مَحَبَّتِي فِي الْمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ! آمِين.

My love be with you all in Christ Jesus.
