مَتَّى 5

١ 1 وَلَمَّا رَأَى ٱلْجُمُوعَ صَعِدَ إِلَى ٱلْجَبَلِ، فَلَمَّا جَلَسَ تَقَدَّمَ إِلَيْهِ تَلَامِيذُهُ.

to perceive: see then the/this/who crowd to ascend toward the/this/who mountain and to seat it/s/he to come near/agree it/s/he the/this/who disciple it/s/he

٢ 2 فَفَتَحَ فَاهُ وعَلَّمَهُمْ قَائِلًا:

and to open the/this/who mouth it/s/he to teach it/s/he to say

٣ 3 «طُوبَى لِلْمَسَاكِينِ بِٱلرُّوحِ، لِأَنَّ لَهُمْ مَلَكُوتَ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ.

blessed the/this/who poor the/this/who spirit/breath: spirit that/since: since it/s/he to be the/this/who kingdom the/this/who heaven

٤ 4 طُوبَى لِلْحَزَانَى، لِأَنَّهُمْ يَتَعَزَّوْنَ.

blessed the/this/who to mourn that/since: since it/s/he to plead/comfort

٥ 5 طُوبَى لِلْوُدَعَاءِ، لِأَنَّهُمْ يَرِثُونَ ٱلْأَرْضَ.

blessed the/this/who gentle that/since: since it/s/he to inherit the/this/who earth: planet

٦ 6 طُوبَى لِلْجِيَاعِ وَٱلْعِطَاشِ إِلَى ٱلْبِرِّ، لِأَنَّهُمْ يُشْبَعُونَ.

blessed the/this/who to hunger and to thirst the/this/who righteousness that/since: since it/s/he to feed

٧ 7 طُوبَى لِلرُّحَمَاءِ، لِأَنَّهُمْ يُرْحَمُونَ.

blessed the/this/who merciful that/since: since it/s/he to have mercy

٨ 8 طُوبَى لِلْأَنْقِيَاءِ ٱلْقَلْبِ، لِأَنَّهُمْ يُعَايِنُونَ ٱللهَ.

blessed the/this/who clean the/this/who heart that/since: since it/s/he the/this/who God to appear

٩ 9 طُوبَى لِصَانِعِي ٱلسَّلَامِ، لِأَنَّهُمْ أَبْنَاءَ ٱللهِ يُدْعَوْنَ.

blessed the/this/who peacemaker that/since: since it/s/he son God to call: call

١٠ 10 طُوبَى لِلْمَطْرُودِينَ مِنْ أَجْلِ ٱلْبِرِّ، لِأَنَّ لَهُمْ مَلَكُوتَ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ.

blessed the/this/who to pursue because of righteousness that/since: since it/s/he to be the/this/who kingdom the/this/who heaven

١١ 11 طُوبَى لَكُمْ إِذَا عَيَّرُوكُمْ وَطَرَدُوكُمْ وَقَالُوا عَلَيْكُمْ كُلَّ كَلِمَةٍ شِرِّيرَةٍ، مِنْ أَجْلِي، كَاذِبِينَ.

blessed to be when(-ever) to revile you and to pursue and to say all evil/bad (declaration *k*) according to you to lie because of I/we

١٢ 12 اِفْرَحُوا وَتَهَلَّلُوا، لِأَنَّ أَجْرَكُمْ عَظِيمٌ فِي ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ، فَإِنَّهُمْ هَكَذَا طَرَدُوا ٱلْأَنْبِيَاءَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَبْلَكُمْ.

to rejoice and to rejoice that/since: since the/this/who wage you much in/on/among the/this/who heaven thus(-ly) for to pursue the/this/who prophet the/this/who before you

١٣ 13 «أَنْتُمْ مِلْحُ ٱلْأَرْضِ، وَلَكِنْ إِنْ فَسَدَ ٱلْمِلْحُ فَبِمَاذَا يُمَلَّحُ؟ لَا يَصْلُحُ بَعْدُ لِشَيْءٍ، إِلَّا لِأَنْ يُطْرَحَ خَارِجًا وَيُدَاسَ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ.

١٤ 14 أَنْتُمْ نُورُ ٱلْعَالَمِ. لَا يُمْكِنُ أَنْ تُخْفَى مَدِينَةٌ مَوْضُوعَةٌ عَلَى جَبَلٍ،

you to be the/this/who light the/this/who world no be able city to hide above mountain to lay/be appointed

١٥ 15 وَلَا يُوقِدُونَ سِرَاجًا وَيَضَعُونَهُ تَحْتَ ٱلْمِكْيَالِ، بَلْ عَلَى ٱلْمَنَارَةِ فَيُضِيءُ لِجَمِيعِ ٱلَّذِينَ فِي ٱلْبَيْتِ.

nor to kindle/burn lamp and to place it/s/he by/under: under the/this/who bucket but upon/to/against the/this/who lampstand and to shine all the/this/who in/on/among the/this/who home

١٦ 16 فَلْيُضِئْ نُورُكُمْ هَكَذَا قُدَّامَ ٱلنَّاسِ، لِكَيْ يَرَوْا أَعْمَالَكُمُ ٱلْحَسَنَةَ، وَيُمَجِّدُوا أَبَاكُمُ ٱلَّذِي فِي ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ.

thus(-ly) to shine the/this/who light you before the/this/who a human that to perceive: see you the/this/who good work and to glorify the/this/who father you the/this/who in/on/among the/this/who heaven

١٧ 17 «لَا تَظُنُّوا أَنِّي جِئْتُ لِأَنْقُضَ ٱلنَّامُوسَ أَوِ ٱلْأَنْبِيَاءَ. مَا جِئْتُ لِأَنْقُضَ بَلْ لِأُكَمِّلَ.

١٨ 18 فَإِنِّي ٱلْحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ: إِلَى أَنْ تَزُولَ ٱلسَّمَاءُ وَٱلْأَرْضُ لَا يَزُولُ حَرْفٌ وَاحِدٌ أَوْ نُقْطَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ مِنَ ٱلنَّامُوسِ حَتَّى يَكُونَ ٱلْكُلُّ.

١٩ 19 فَمَنْ نَقَضَ إِحْدَى هَذِهِ ٱلْوَصَايَا ٱلصُّغْرَى وَعَلَّمَ ٱلنَّاسَ هَكَذَا، يُدْعَى أَصْغَرَ فِي مَلَكُوتِ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ. وَأَمَّا مَنْ عَمِلَ وَعَلَّمَ، فَهَذَا يُدْعَى عَظِيمًا فِي مَلَكُوتِ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ.

٢٠ 20 فَإِنِّي أَقُولُ لَكُمْ: إِنَّكُمْ إِنْ لَمْ يَزِدْ بِرُّكُمْ عَلَى ٱلْكَتَبَةِ وَٱلْفَرِّيسِيِّينَ لَنْ تَدْخُلُوا مَلَكُوتَ ٱلسَّماوَاتِ.

٢١ 21 «قَدْ سَمِعْتُمْ أَنَّهُ قِيلَ لِلْقُدَمَاءِ: لَا تَقْتُلْ، وَمَنْ قَتَلَ يَكُونُ مُسْتَوْجِبَ ٱلْحُكْمِ.

٢٢ 22 وَأَمَّا أَنَا فَأَقُولُ لَكُمْ: إِنَّ كُلَّ مَنْ يَغْضَبُ عَلَى أَخِيهِ بَاطِلًا يَكُونُ مُسْتَوْجِبَ ٱلْحُكْمِ، وَمَنْ قَالَ لِأَخِيهِ: رَقَا، يَكُونُ مُسْتَوْجِبَ ٱلْمَجْمَعِ، وَمَنْ قَالَ: يا أَحْمَقُ، يَكُونُ مُسْتَوْجِبَ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ. (Geenna g1067)

٢٣ 23 فَإِنْ قَدَّمْتَ قُرْبَانَكَ إِلَى ٱلْمَذْبَحِ، وَهُنَاكَ تَذَكَّرْتَ أَنَّ لِأَخِيكَ شَيْئًا عَلَيْكَ،

if therefore/then to bring to the/this/who gift you upon/to/against the/this/who altar and there to remember that/since: that the/this/who brother you to have/be one according to you

٢٤ 24 فَٱتْرُكْ هُنَاكَ قُرْبَانَكَ قُدَّامَ ٱلْمَذْبَحِ، وَٱذْهَبْ أَوَّلًا ٱصْطَلِحْ مَعَ أَخِيكَ، وَحِينَئِذٍ تَعَالَ وَقَدِّمْ قُرْبَانَكَ.

to release: leave there the/this/who gift you before the/this/who altar and to go first be reconciled the/this/who brother you and then to come/go to bring to the/this/who gift you

٢٥ 25 كُنْ مُرَاضِيًا لِخَصْمِكَ سَرِيعًا مَا دُمْتَ مَعَهُ فِي ٱلطَّرِيقِ، لِئَلَّا يُسَلِّمَكَ ٱلْخَصْمُ إِلَى ٱلْقَاضِي، وَيُسَلِّمَكَ ٱلْقَاضِي إِلَى ٱلشُّرَطِيِّ، فَتُلْقَى فِي ٱلسِّجْنِ.

٢٦ 26 اَلْحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكَ: لَا تَخْرُجُ مِنْ هُنَاكَ حَتَّى تُوفِيَ ٱلْفَلْسَ ٱلْأَخِيرَ!

٢٧ 27 «قَدْ سَمِعْتُمْ أَنَّهُ قِيلَ لِلْقُدَمَاءِ: لَا تَزْنِ.

٢٨ 28 وَأَمَّا أَنَا فَأَقُولُ لَكُمْ: إِنَّ كُلَّ مَنْ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى ٱمْرَأَةٍ لِيَشْتَهِيَهَا، فَقَدْ زَنَى بِهَا فِي قَلْبِهِ.

٢٩ 29 فَإِنْ كَانَتْ عَيْنُكَ ٱلْيُمْنَى تُعْثِرُكَ فَٱقْلَعْهَا وَأَلْقِهَا عَنْكَ، لِأَنَّهُ خَيْرٌ لَكَ أَنْ يَهْلِكَ أَحَدُ أَعْضَائِكَ وَلَا يُلْقَى جَسَدُكَ كُلُّهُ فِي جَهَنَّمَ. (Geenna g1067)

٣٠ 30 وَإِنْ كَانَتْ يَدُكَ ٱلْيُمْنَى تُعْثِرُكَ فَٱقْطَعْهَا وَأَلْقِهَا عَنْكَ، لِأَنَّهُ خَيْرٌ لَكَ أَنْ يَهْلِكَ أَحَدُ أَعْضَائِكَ وَلَا يُلْقَى جَسَدُكَ كُلُّهُ فِي جَهَنَّمَ. (Geenna g1067)

٣١ 31 «وَقِيلَ: مَنْ طَلَّقَ ٱمْرَأَتَهُ فَلْيُعْطِهَا كِتَابَ طَلَاقٍ.

to say then (that/since: that *k*) which if to release: divorce the/this/who woman: wife it/s/he to give it/s/he divorce

٣٢ 32 وَأَمَّا أَنَا فَأَقُولُ لَكُمْ: إِنَّ مَنْ طَلَّقَ ٱمْرَأَتَهُ إلَّا لِعِلَّةِ ٱلزِّنَى يَجْعَلُهَا تَزْنِي، وَمَنْ يَتَزَوَّجُ مُطَلَّقَةً فَإِنَّهُ يَزْنِي.

٣٣ 33 «أَيْضًا سَمِعْتُمْ أَنَّهُ قِيلَ لِلْقُدَمَاءِ: لَا تَحْنَثْ، بَلْ أَوْفِ لِلرَّبِّ أَقْسَامَكَ.

٣٤ 34 وَأَمَّا أَنَا فَأَقُولُ لَكُمْ: لَا تَحْلِفُوا ٱلْبَتَّةَ، لَا بِٱلسَّمَاءِ لِأَنَّهَا كُرْسِيُّ ٱللهِ،

٣٥ 35 وَلَا بِٱلْأَرْضِ لِأَنَّهَا مَوْطِئُ قَدَمَيْهِ، وَلَا بِأُورُشَلِيمَ لِأَنَّهَا مَدِينَةُ ٱلْمَلِكِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ.

٣٦ 36 وَلَا تَحْلِفْ بِرَأْسِكَ، لِأَنَّكَ لَا تَقْدِرُ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ شَعْرَةً وَاحِدَةً بَيْضَاءَ أَوْ سَوْدَاءَ.

٣٩ 39 وَأَمَّا أَنَا فَأَقُولُ لَكُمْ: لَا تُقَاوِمُوا ٱلشَّرَّ، بَلْ مَنْ لَطَمَكَ عَلَى خَدِّكَ ٱلْأَيْمَنِ فَحَوِّلْ لَهُ ٱلْآخَرَ أَيْضًا.

٤٠ 40 وَمَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُخَاصِمَكَ وَيَأْخُذَ ثَوْبَكَ فَٱتْرُكْ لَهُ ٱلرِّدَاءَ أَيْضًا.

٤١ 41 وَمَنْ سَخَّرَكَ مِيلًا وَاحِدًا فَٱذْهَبْ مَعَهُ ٱثْنَيْنِ.

٤٢ 42 مَنْ سَأَلَكَ فَأَعْطِهِ، وَمَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَقْتَرِضَ مِنْكَ فَلَا تَرُدَّهُ.

٤٣ 43 «سَمِعْتُمْ أَنَّهُ قِيلَ: تُحِبُّ قَرِيبَكَ وَتُبْغِضُ عَدُوَّكَ.

٤٤ 44 وَأَمَّا أَنَا فَأَقُولُ لَكُمْ: أَحِبُّوا أَعْدَاءَكُمْ. بَارِكُوا لَاعِنِيكُمْ. أَحْسِنُوا إِلَى مُبْغِضِيكُمْ، وَصَلُّوا لِأَجْلِ ٱلَّذِينَ يُسِيئُونَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَيَطْرُدُونَكُمْ،

I/we then to say you to love the/this/who enemy you (to praise/bless the/this/who to curse you well to do/make: do *K*) (the/this/who to hate *K(o)*) (you *K*) and to pray above/for the/this/who (to mistreat you and *K*) to pursue you

٤٥ 45 لِكَيْ تَكُونُوا أَبْنَاءَ أَبِيكُمُ ٱلَّذِي فِي ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ، فَإِنَّهُ يُشْرِقُ شَمْسَهُ عَلَى ٱلْأَشْرَارِ وَٱلصَّالِحِينَ، وَيُمْطِرُ عَلَى ٱلْأَبْرَارِ وَٱلظَّالِمِينَ.

٤٦ 46 لِأَنَّهُ إِنْ أَحْبَبْتُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يُحِبُّونَكُمْ، فَأَيُّ أَجْرٍ لَكُمْ؟ أَلَيْسَ ٱلْعَشَّارُونَ أَيْضًا يَفْعَلُونَ ذَلِكَ؟

if for to love the/this/who to love you which? wage to have/be not! and the/this/who tax collector the/this/who (it/s/he *NK(o)*) to do/make: do

٤٧ 47 وَإِنْ سَلَّمْتُمْ عَلَى إِخْوَتِكُمْ فَقَطْ، فَأَيَّ فَضْلٍ تَصْنَعُونَ؟ أَلَيْسَ ٱلْعَشَّارُونَ أَيْضًا يَفْعَلُونَ هَكَذَا؟

٤٨ 48 فَكُونُوا أَنْتُمْ كَامِلِينَ كَمَا أَنَّ أَبَاكُمُ ٱلَّذِي فِي ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ هُوَ كَامِلٌ.
