إِرْمِيَا 19

١ 1 هَكَذَا قَالَ ٱلرَّبُّ: «ٱذْهَبْ وَٱشْتَرِ إِبْرِيقَ فَخَّارِيٍّ مِنْ خَزَفٍ، وَخُذْ مِنْ شُيُوخِ ٱلشَّعْبِ وَمِنْ شُيُوخِ ٱلْكَهَنَةِ،

Thus he said Yahweh go and you will buy a bottle of a potter of earthenware and some of [the] elders of the people and some of [the] elders of the priests.

٢ 2 وَٱخْرُجْ إِلَى وَادِي ٱبْنِ هِنُّومَ ٱلَّذِي عِنْدَ مَدْخَلِ بَابِ ٱلْفَخَّارِ، وَنَادِ هُنَاكَ بِٱلْكَلِمَاتِ ٱلَّتِي أُكَلِّمُكَ بِهَا.

And you will go out to [the] valley of Ben Hinnom which [is at] [the] entrance of [the] gate of (the potsherd *Qk) and you will proclaim there the words which I will speak to you.

٣ 3 وَقُلِ: ٱسْمَعُوا كَلِمَةَ ٱلرَّبِّ يَا مُلُوكَ يَهُوذَا وَسُكَّانَ أُورُشَلِيمَ. هَكَذَا قَالَ رَبُّ ٱلْجُنُودِ إِلَهُ إِسْرَائِيلَ: هَأَنَذَا جَالِبٌ عَلَى هَذَا ٱلْمَوْضِعِ شَرًّا، كُلُّ مَنْ سَمِعَ بِهِ تَطِنُّ أُذْنَاهُ.

And you will say hear [the] word of Yahweh O kings of Judah and [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel here I [am] about to bring calamity on the place this which every [one who] hears of it they will tingle ears his.

٤ 4 مِنْ أَجْلِ أَنَّهُمْ تَرَكُونِي، وَأَنْكَرُوا هَذَا ٱلْمَوْضِعَ وَبَخَّرُوا فِيهِ لِآلِهَةٍ أُخْرَى لَمْ يَعْرِفُوهَا هُمْ وَلَا آبَاؤُهُمْ وَلَا مُلُوكُ يَهُوذَا، وَمَلَأُوا هَذَا ٱلْمَوْضِعَ مِنْ دَمِ ٱلْأَزْكِيَاءِ،

Because - that they have forsaken me and they have treated as foreign the place this and they have made smoke in it to gods other which not they knew them they and ancestors their and [the] kings of Judah and they have filled the place this [the] blood of innocent [ones].

٥ 5 وَبَنَوْا مُرْتَفَعَاتٍ لِلْبَعْلِ لِيُحْرِقُوا أَوْلَادَهُمْ بِٱلنَّارِ مُحْرَقَاتٍ لِلْبَعْلِ، ٱلَّذِي لَمْ أُوْصِ وَلَا تَكَلَّمْتُ بِهِ وَلَا صَعِدَ عَلَى قَلْبِي.

And they have built [the] high places of Baal to burn children their in the fire burnt offerings to Baal which not I commanded and not I spoke and not it came up on heart my.

٦ 6 لِذَلِكَ هَا أَيَّامٌ تَأْتِي، يَقُولُ ٱلرَّبُّ، وَلَا يُدْعَى بَعْدُ هَذَا ٱلْمَوْضِعُ تُوفَةَ وَلَا وَادِي ٱبْنِ هِنُّومَ، بَلْ وَادِي ٱلْقَتْلِ.

Therefore here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and not it will be called to the place this again Topheth and [the] valley of Ben Hinnom that except [the] valley of slaughter.

٧ 7 وَأَنْقُضُ مَشُورَةَ يَهُوذَا وَأُورُشَلِيمَ فِي هَذَا ٱلْمَوْضِعِ، وَأَجْعَلُهُمْ يَسْقُطُونَ بِٱلسَّيْفِ أَمَامَ أَعْدَائِهِمْ وَبِيَدِ طَالِبِي نُفُوسِهِمْ، وَأَجْعَلُ جُثَثَهُمْ أُكْلًا لِطُيُورِ ٱلسَّمَاءِ وَلِوُحُوشِ ٱلْأَرْضِ.

And I will make void [the] plan of Judah and Jerusalem in the place this and I will make fall them by the sword before enemies their and by [the] hand of [those who] seek life their and I will give corpse[s] their to food to [the] bird[s] of the heavens and to [the] animal[s] of the earth.

٨ 8 وَأَجْعَلُ هَذِهِ ٱلْمَدِينَةَ لِلدَّهَشِ وَٱلصَّفِيرِ. كُلُّ عَابِرٍ بِهَا يَدْهَشُ وَيَصْفِرُ مِنْ أَجْلِ كُلِّ ضَرَبَاتِهَا.

And I will make the city this into a waste and into a hissing every [one who] passes by at it he will be appalled and he may hiss on all wounds its.

٩ 9 وَأُطْعِمُهُمْ لَحْمَ بَنِيهِمْ وَلَحْمَ بَنَاتِهِمْ، فَيَأْكُلُونَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ لَحْمَ صَاحِبِهِ فِي ٱلْحِصَارِ وَٱلضِّيقِ ٱلَّذِي يُضَايِقُهُمْ بِهِ أَعْدَاؤُهُمْ وَطَالِبُو نُفُوسِهِمْ.

And I will make eat them [the] flesh of sons their and [the] flesh of daughters their and everyone [the] flesh of neighbor his they will eat in [the] siege and in [the] distress which they will press them enemies their and [those who] seek life their.

١٠ 10 ثُمَّ تَكْسِرُ ٱلْإِبْرِيقَ أَمَامَ أَعْيُنِ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَسِيرُونَ مَعَكَ

And you will break the bottle to [the] eyes of the men who go with you.

١١ 11 وَتَقُولُ لَهُمْ: هَكَذَا قَالَ رَبُّ ٱلْجُنُودِ: هَكَذَا أَكْسِرُ هَذَا ٱلشَّعْبَ وَهَذِهِ ٱلْمَدِينَةَ كَمَا يُكْسَرُ وِعَاءُ ٱلْفَخَّارِيِّ بِحَيْثُ لَا يُمْكِنُ جَبْرُهُ بَعْدُ، وَفِي تُوفَةَ يُدْفَنُونَ حَتَّى لَا يَكُونَ مَوْضِعٌ لِلدَّفْنِ.

And you will say to them thus he says - Yahweh of hosts thus I will break the people this and the city this just as someone breaks [the] vessel of the potter which not it will be able to be repaired again and in Topheth people will bury from not room to bury.

١٢ 12 هَكَذَا أَصْنَعُ لِهَذَا ٱلْمَوْضِعِ، يَقُولُ ٱلرَّبُّ، وَلِسُكَّانِهِ. وَأَجْعَلُ هَذِهِ ٱلْمَدِينَةَ مِثْلَ تُوفَةَ.

Thus I will do to the place this [the] utterance of Yahweh and to inhabitants its and to make the city this like Topheth.

١٣ 13 وَتَكُونُ بُيُوتُ أُورُشَلِيمَ وَبُيُوتُ مُلُوكِ يَهُوذَا كَمَوْضِعِ تُوفَةَ، نَجِسَةً كُلُّ ٱلْبُيُوتِ ٱلَّتِي بَخَّرُوا عَلَى سُطُوحِهَا لِكُلِّ جُنْدِ ٱلسَّمَاءِ وَسَكَبُوا سَكَائِبَ لِآلِهَةٍ أُخْرَى».

And they will be [the] houses of Jerusalem and [the] houses of [the] kings of Judah like [the] place of Topheth the unclean [things] to all the houses which people made smoke on roofs their to all [the] host of the heavens and they poured out drink offerings to gods other.

١٤ 14 ثُمَّ جَاءَ إِرْمِيَا مِنْ تُوفَةَ ٱلَّتِي أَرْسَلَهُ ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَيْهَا لِيَتَنَبَّأَ، وَوَقَفَ فِي دَارِ بَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ وَقَالَ لِكُلِّ ٱلشَّعْبِ:

And he came Jeremiah from Topheth where he had sent him Yahweh there to prophesy and he stood in [the] court of [the] house of Yahweh and he said to all the people.

١٥ 15 «هَكَذَا قَالَ رَبُّ ٱلْجُنُودِ إِلَهُ إِسْرَائِيلَ: هَأَنَذَا جَالِبٌ عَلَى هَذِهِ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ وَعَلَى كُلِّ قُرَاهَا كُلَّ ٱلشَّرِّ ٱلَّذِي تَكَلَّمْتُ بِهِ عَلَيْهَا، لِأَنَّهُمْ صَلَّبُوا رِقَابَهُمْ فَلَمْ يَسْمَعُوا لِكَلَامِي».

Thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel here I ([am] about to bring *Qk) to the city this and on all cities its all the calamity which I have spoken on it for they have stiffened neck their to not to hear words my.
