إِشَعْيَاءَ 18
| يَا أَرْضَ حَفِيفِ ٱلْأَجْنِحَةِ ٱلَّتِي فِي عَبْرِ أَنْهَارِ كُوشَ، | ١ 1 |
Alas! O land of whirring of wings which [is] from [the] other side of [the] rivers of Cush.
| ٱلْمُرْسِلَةَ رُسُلًا فِي ٱلْبَحْرِ وَفِي قَوَارِبَ مِنَ ٱلْبَرْدِيِّ عَلَى وَجْهِ ٱلْمِيَاهِ. ٱذْهَبُوا أَيُّهَا ٱلرُّسُلُ ٱلسَّرِيعُونَ إِلَى أُمَّةٍ طَوِيلَةٍ وَجَرْدَاءَ، إِلَى شَعْبٍ مَخُوفٍ مُنْذُ كَانَ فَصَاعِدًا، أُمَّةِ قُوَّةٍ وَشِدَّةٍ وَدَوْسٍ، قَدْ خَرَقَتِ ٱلْأَنْهَارُ أَرْضَهَا. | ٢ 2 |
Which sends on the sea envoys and in vessels of papyrus on [the] surface of [the] waters go - O messengers swift to a nation tall and smooth skinned to a people feared from it and beyond a nation of strength of strength and trampling which they divide rivers land its.
| يَا جَمِيعَ سُكَّانِ ٱلْمَسْكُونَةِ وَقَاطِنِي ٱلْأَرْضِ، عِنْدَمَا تَرْتَفِعُ ٱلرَّايَةُ عَلَى ٱلْجِبَالِ تَنْظُرُونَ، وَعِنْدَمَا يُضْرَبُ بِٱلْبُوقِ تَسْمَعُونَ. | ٣ 3 |
O all [the] inhabitants of [the] world and [those who] dwell earth when lifts up a standard mountains you will see [it] and just as sounds a trumpet you will hear [it].
| لِأَنَّهُ هَكَذَا قَالَ لِيَ ٱلرَّبُّ: «إِنِّي أَهْدَأُ وَأَنْظُرُ فِي مَسْكَنِي كَٱلْحَرِّ ٱلصَّافِي عَلَى ٱلْبَقْلِ، كَغَيْمِ ٱلنَّدَى فِي حَرِّ ٱلْحَصَادِ». | ٤ 4 |
For thus he said Yahweh to me (I will remain quiet *Qk) and I will pay attention in place my like heat dazzling with light like a cloud of dew in [the] heat of harvest.
| فَإِنَّهُ قَبْلَ ٱلْحَصَادِ، عِنْدَ تَمَامِ ٱلزَّهْرِ، وَعِنْدَمَا يَصِيرُ ٱلزَّهْرُ حِصْرِمًا نَضِيجًا، يَقْطَعُ ٱلْقُضْبَانَ بِٱلْمَنَاجِلِ، وَيَنْزِعُ ٱلْأَفْنَانَ وَيَطْرَحُهَا. | ٥ 5 |
For before harvest when is finished bud[s] and unripe grape[s] ripening it will become blossom and he will cut off the shoots with pruning knives and the tendrils he will remove he will cut away.
| تُتْرَكُ مَعًا لِجَوَارِحِ ٱلْجِبَالِ وَلِوُحُوشِ ٱلْأَرْضِ، فَتُصَيِّفُ عَلَيْهَا ٱلْجَوَارِحُ، وَتُشَتِّي عَلَيْهَا جَمِيعُ وُحُوشِ ٱلْأَرْضِ. | ٦ 6 |
They will be abandoned alike to bird[s] of prey of [the] mountains and to [the] animal[s] of the earth and it will pass [the] summer on it the bird[s] of prey and every animal of the earth on it it will pass [the] winter.
| فِي ذَلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ تُقَدَّمُ هَدِيَّةٌ لِرَبِّ ٱلْجُنُودِ مِنْ شَعْبٍ طَوِيلٍ وَأَجْرَدَ، وَمِنْ شَعْبٍ مَخُوفٍ مُنْذُ كَانَ فَصَاعِدًا، مِنْ أُمَّةٍ ذَاتِ قُوَّةٍ وَشِدَّةٍ وَدَوْسٍ، قَدْ خَرَقَتِ ٱلْأَنْهَارُ أَرْضَهَا، إِلَى مَوْضِعِ ٱسْمِ رَبِّ ٱلْجُنُودِ، جَبَلِ صِهْيَوْنَ. | ٧ 7 |
At the time that it will be brought a gift to Yahweh of hosts a people tall and smooth skinned and from a people feared from it and beyond a nation of - strength of strength and trampling which they divide rivers land its to [the] place of [the] name of Yahweh of hosts [the] mountain of Zion.
