| فَلْنَخَفْ، أَنَّهُ مَعَ بَقَاءِ وَعْدٍ بِٱلدُّخُولِ إِلَى رَاحَتِهِ، يُرَى أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ أَنَّهُ قَدْ خَابَ مِنْهُ! | ١ 1 |
to fear therefore/then not once/when to leave behind promise to enter toward the/this/who rest it/s/he to think one out from you to lack
| لِأَنَّنَا نَحْنُ أَيْضًا قَدْ بُشِّرْنَا كَمَا أُولَئِكَ، لَكِنْ لَمْ تَنْفَعْ كَلِمَةُ ٱلْخَبَرِ أُولَئِكَ. إِذْ لَمْ تَكُنْ مُمْتَزِجَةً بِٱلْإِيمَانِ فِي ٱلَّذِينَ سَمِعُوا. | ٢ 2 |
and for to be to speak good news just as that and but no to help the/this/who word the/this/who hearing that not (to unite *N+kO) the/this/who faith the/this/who to hear
| لِأَنَّنَا نَحْنُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ نَدْخُلُ ٱلرَّاحَةَ، كَمَا قَالَ: «حَتَّى أَقْسَمْتُ فِي غَضَبِي: لَنْ يَدْخُلُوا رَاحَتِي» مَعَ كَوْنِ ٱلْأَعْمَالِ قَدْ أُكْمِلَتْ مُنْذُ تَأْسِيسِ ٱلْعَالَمِ. | ٣ 3 |

| لِأَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي مَوْضِعٍ عَنِ ٱلسَّابِعِ هَكَذَا: «وَٱسْتَرَاحَ ٱللهُ فِي ٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلسَّابِعِ مِنْ جَمِيعِ أَعْمَالِهِ». | ٤ 4 |

| يُعَيِّنُ أَيْضًا يَوْمًا قَائِلًا فِي دَاوُدَ: «ٱلْيَوْمَ» بَعْدَ زَمَانٍ هَذَا مِقْدَارُهُ، كَمَا قِيلَ: «ٱلْيَوْمَ، إِنْ سَمِعْتُمْ صَوْتَهُ، فَلَا تُقَسُّوا قُلُوبَكُمْ». | ٧ 7 |

| فَلْنَجْتَهِدْ أَنْ نَدْخُلَ تِلْكَ ٱلرَّاحَةَ، لِئَلَّا يَسْقُطَ أَحَدٌ فِي عِبْرَةِ ٱلْعِصْيَانِ هَذِهِ عَيْنِهَا. | ١١ 11 |

| لِأَنَّ كَلِمَةَ ٱللهِ حَيَّةٌ وَفَعَّالَةٌ وَأَمْضَى مِنْ كُلِّ سَيْفٍ ذِي حَدَّيْنِ، وَخَارِقَةٌ إِلَى مَفْرَقِ ٱلنَّفْسِ وَٱلرُّوحِ وَٱلْمَفَاصِلِ وَٱلْمِخَاخِ، وَمُمَيِّزَةٌ أَفْكَارَ ٱلْقَلْبِ وَنِيَّاتِهِ. | ١٢ 12 |

| لِأَنْ لَيْسَ لَنَا رَئِيسُ كَهَنَةٍ غَيْرُ قَادِرٍ أَنْ يَرْثِيَ لِضَعَفَاتِنَا، بَلْ مُجَرَّبٌ فِي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مِثْلُنَا، بِلَا خَطِيَّةٍ. | ١٥ 15 |

| فَلْنَتَقَدَّمْ بِثِقَةٍ إِلَى عَرْشِ ٱلنِّعْمَةِ لِكَيْ نَنَالَ رَحْمَةً وَنَجِدَ نِعْمَةً عَوْنًا فِي حِينِهِ. | ١٦ 16 |
