اَلتَّكْوِينُ 8

١ 1 ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ ٱللهُ نُوحًا وَكُلَّ ٱلْوُحُوشِ وَكُلَّ ٱلْبَهَائِمِ ٱلَّتِي مَعَهُ فِي ٱلْفُلْكِ. وَأَجَازَ ٱللهُ رِيحًا عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَهَدَأَتِ ٱلْمِيَاهُ.

And he remembered God Noah and every animal and all the livestock which [were] with him in the ark and he made to pass God a wind over the earth and they subsided the waters.

٢ 2 وَٱنْسَدَّتْ يَنَابِيعُ ٱلْغَمْرِ وَطَاقَاتُ ٱلسَّمَاءِ، فَٱمْتَنَعَ ٱلْمَطَرُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاءِ.

And they were shut up [the] springs of [the] deep and [the] floodgates of the heavens and it was restrained the rain from the heavens.

٣ 3 وَرَجَعَتِ ٱلْمِيَاهُ عَنِ ٱلْأَرْضِ رُجُوعًا مُتَوَالِيًا. وَبَعْدَ مِئَةٍ وَخَمْسِينَ يَوْمًا نَقَصَتِ ٱلْمِيَاهُ،

And they turned back the waters from on the earth going and turning back and they decreased the waters from [the] end of fifty and one hundred day[s].

٤ 4 وَٱسْتَقَرَّ ٱلْفُلْكُ فِي ٱلشَّهْرِ ٱلسَّابِعِ، فِي ٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلسَّابِعَ عَشَرَ مِنَ ٱلشَّهْرِ، عَلَى جِبَالِ أَرَارَاطَ.

And it rested the ark in the month seventh on [the] seven-teen day of the month on [the] mountains of Ararat.

٥ 5 وَكَانَتِ ٱلْمِيَاهُ تَنْقُصُ نَقْصًا مُتَوَالِيًا إِلَى ٱلشَّهْرِ ٱلْعَاشِرِ. وَفِي ٱلْعَاشِرِ فِي أَوَّلِ ٱلشَّهْرِ، ظَهَرَتْ رُؤُوسُ ٱلْجِبَالِ.

And the waters they were going and decreasing until the month tenth in the tenth [month] on [day] one of the month they were seen [the] tops of the mountains.

٦ 6 وَحَدَثَ مِنْ بَعْدِ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا أَنَّ نُوحًا فَتَحَ طَاقَةَ ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلَّتِي كَانَ قَدْ عَمِلَهَا

And it was from [the] end of forty day[s] and he opened Noah [the] window of the ark which he had made.

٧ 7 وَأَرْسَلَ ٱلْغُرَابَ، فَخَرَجَ مُتَرَدِّدًا حَتَّى نَشِفَتِ ٱلْمِيَاهُ عَنِ ٱلْأَرْضِ.

And he sent out the raven and it went out continuously and returned until dried up the waters from on the earth.

٨ 8 ثُمَّ أَرْسَلَ ٱلْحَمَامَةَ مِنْ عِنْدِهِ لِيَرَى هَلْ قَلَّتِ ٱلْمِيَاهُ عَنْ وَجْهِ ٱلْأَرْضِ،

And he sent out the dove from with him to see ¿ were they abated the waters from on [the] surface of the ground.

٩ 9 فَلَمْ تَجِدِ ٱلْحَمَامَةُ مَقَرًّا لِرِجْلِهَا، فَرَجَعَتْ إِلَيْهِ إِلَى ٱلْفُلْكِ لِأَنَّ مِيَاهًا كَانَتْ عَلَى وَجْهِ كُلِّ ٱلْأَرْضِ. فَمَدَّ يَدَهُ وَأَخَذَهَا وَأَدْخَلَهَا عِنْدَهُ إِلَى ٱلْفُلْكِ.

And not found the dove a resting place for [the] sole of foot its and it returned to him into the ark for water [was] on [the] surface of all the earth and he stretched out hand his and he took it and he brought it to him into the ark.

١٠ 10 فَلَبِثَ أَيْضًا سَبْعَةَ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ وَعَادَ فَأَرْسَلَ ٱلْحَمَامَةَ مِنَ ٱلْفُلْكِ،

And he waited again seven days other and he repeated to send out the dove from the ark.

١١ 11 فَأَتَتْ إِلَيْهِ ٱلْحَمَامَةُ عِنْدَ ٱلْمَسَاءِ، وَإِذَا وَرَقَةُ زَيْتُونٍ خَضْرَاءُ فِي فَمِهَا. فَعَلِمَ نُوحٌ أَنَّ ٱلْمِيَاهَ قَدْ قَلَّتْ عَنِ ٱلْأَرْضِ.

And it came to him the dove to [the] time of evening and there! a leaf of olive freshly plucked [was] in mouth its and he knew Noah that they were abated the waters from on the earth.

١٢ 12 فَلَبِثَ أَيْضًا سَبْعَةَ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ وَأَرْسَلَ ٱلْحَمَامَةَ فَلَمْ تَعُدْ تَرْجِعُ إِلَيْهِ أَيْضًا.

And he waited again seven days other and he sent out the dove and not it repeated to return to him again.

١٣ 13 وَكَانَ فِي ٱلسَّنَةِ ٱلْوَاحِدَةِ وَٱلسِّتِّ مِئَةٍ، فِي ٱلشَّهْرِ ٱلْأَوَّلِ فِي أَوَّلِ ٱلشَّهْرِ، أَنَّ ٱلْمِيَاهَ نَشِفَتْ عَنِ ٱلْأَرْضِ. فَكَشَفَ نُوحٌ ٱلْغِطَاءَ عَنِ ٱلْفُلْكِ وَنَظَرَ، فَإِذَا وَجْهُ ٱلْأَرْضِ قَدْ نَشِفَ.

And it was in one and six hundred year in the first [month] on [day] one of the month they were dried up the waters from on the earth and he removed Noah [the] covering of the ark and he saw and there! they were dried up [the] surface of the ground.

١٤ 14 وَفِي ٱلشَّهْرِ ٱلثَّانِي، فِي ٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلسَّابِعِ وَٱلْعِشْرِينَ مِنَ ٱلشَّهْرِ، جَفَّتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ.

And in the month second on [the] seven and twenty day of the month was dry the earth.

١٥ 15 وَكَلَّمَ ٱللهُ نُوحًا قَائِلًا:

And he spoke God to Noah saying.

١٦ 16 «ٱخْرُجْ مِنَ ٱلْفُلْكِ أَنْتَ وَٱمْرَأَتُكَ وَبَنُوكَ وَنِسَاءُ بَنِيكَ مَعَكَ.

Go out from the ark you and wife your and sons your and [the] wives of sons your with you.

١٧ 17 وَكُلَّ ٱلْحَيَوَانَاتِ ٱلَّتِي مَعَكَ مِنْ كُلِّ ذِي جَسَدٍ: ٱلطُّيُورِ، وَٱلْبَهَائِمِ، وَكُلَّ ٱلدَّبَّابَاتِ ٱلَّتِي تَدِبُّ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ، أَخْرِجْهَا مَعَكَ. وَلْتَتَوَالَدْ فِي ٱلْأَرْضِ وَتُثْمِرْ وَتَكْثُرْ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ».

Every animal which [is] with you some of all flesh among the bird[s] and among the livestock and among every creeping thing which creeps on the earth (bring out *Qk) with you and they will swarm on the earth and they will be fruitful and they will multiply on the earth.

١٨ 18 فَخَرَجَ نُوحٌ وَبَنُوهُ وَٱمْرَأَتُهُ وَنِسَاءُ بَنِيهِ مَعَهُ.

And he went out Noah and sons his and wife his and [the] wives of sons his with him.

١٩ 19 وَكُلُّ ٱلْحَيَوَانَاتِ، كُلُّ ٱلدَّبَّابَاتِ، وَكُلُّ ٱلطُّيُورِ، كُلُّ مَا يَدِبُّ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ، كَأَنْوَاعِهَا خَرَجَتْ مِنَ ٱلْفُلْكِ.

Every animal every creeping thing and every bird every creeping [thing] on the earth to families their they went out from the ark.

٢٠ 20 وَبَنَى نُوحٌ مَذْبَحًا لِلرَّبِّ. وَأَخَذَ مِنْ كُلِّ ٱلْبَهَائِمِ ٱلطَّاهِرَةِ وَمِنْ كُلِّ ٱلطُّيُورِ ٱلطَّاهِرَةِ وَأَصْعَدَ مُحْرَقَاتٍ عَلَى ٱلْمَذْبَحِ،

And he built Noah an altar to Yahweh and he took some of all - the livestock clean and some of every bird clean and he offered up burnt offerings on the altar.

٢١ 21 فَتَنَسَّمَ ٱلرَّبُّ رَائِحَةَ ٱلرِّضَا. وَقَالَ ٱلرَّبُّ فِي قَلْبِهِ: «لَا أَعُودُ أَلْعَنُ ٱلْأَرْضَ أَيْضًا مِنْ أَجْلِ ٱلْإِنْسَانِ، لِأَنَّ تَصَوُّرَ قَلْبِ ٱلْإِنْسَانِ شِرِّيرٌ مُنْذُ حَدَاثَتِهِ. وَلَا أَعُودُ أَيْضًا أُمِيتُ كُلَّ حَيٍّ كَمَا فَعَلْتُ.

And he smelled Yahweh [the] odor of soothing and he said Yahweh to heart his not I will repeat to curse again the ground for sake of humankind for [the] inclination of [the] heart of humankind [is] evil since youth his and not I will repeat again to strike down every living [thing] just as I have done.

٢٢ 22 مُدَّةَ كُلِّ أَيَّامِ ٱلْأَرْضِ: زَرْعٌ وَحَصَادٌ، وَبَرْدٌ وَحَرٌّ، وَصَيْفٌ وَشِتَاءٌ، وَنَهَارٌ وَلَيْلٌ، لَا تَزَالُ».

Again all [the] days of the earth seed and harvest and cold and heat and summer and winter and day and night not they will cease.

A Dove is Sent Forth from the Ark
