٢ تسالونيكي 1

١ 1 بُولُسُ وَسِلْوَانُسُ وَتِيمُوثَاوُسُ، إِلَى كَنِيسَةِ ٱلتَّسَالُونِيكِيِّينَ، فِي ٱللهِ أَبِينَا وَٱلرَّبِّ يَسُوعَ ٱلْمَسِيحِ:

Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, to the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

٢ 2 نِعْمَةٌ لَكُمْ وَسَلَامٌ مِنَ ٱللهِ أَبِينَا وَٱلرَّبِّ يَسُوعَ ٱلْمَسِيحِ.

May grace be to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

٣ 3 يَنْبَغِي لَنَا أَنْ نَشْكُرَ ٱللهَ كُلَّ حِينٍ مِنْ جِهَتِكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلْإِخْوَةُ كَمَا يَحِقُّ، لِأَنَّ إِيمَانَكُمْ يَنْمُو كَثِيرًا، وَمَحَبَّةُ كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْكُمْ جَمِيعًا بَعْضِكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ تَزْدَادُ،

We should always give thanks to God for you, brothers. For this is appropriate, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love each of you has for one another increases.

٤ 4 حَتَّى إِنَّنَا نَحْنُ أَنْفُسَنَا نَفْتَخِرُ بِكُمْ فِي كَنَائِسِ ٱللهِ، مِنْ أَجْلِ صَبْرِكُمْ وَإِيمَانِكُمْ فِي جَمِيعِ ٱضْطِهَادَاتِكُمْ وَٱلضِّيقَاتِ ٱلَّتِي تَحْتَمِلُونَهَا،

So we ourselves speak proudly about you among the churches of God. We talk about your patience and faith in all your persecutions. We talk about the afflictions that you endure.

٥ 5 بَيِّنَةً عَلَى قَضَاءِ ٱللهِ ٱلْعَادِلِ، أَنَّكُمْ تُؤَهَّلُونَ لِمَلَكُوتِ ٱللهِ ٱلَّذِي لِأَجْلِهِ تَتَأَلَّمُونَ أَيْضًا.

This is a sign of God's righteous judgment. The result is that you will be considered worthy of the kingdom of God for which you suffer.

٦ 6 إِذْ هُوَ عَادِلٌ عِنْدَ ٱللهِ أَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُضَايِقُونَكُمْ يُجَازِيهِمْ ضِيقًا،

It is righteous for God to return affliction to those who afflict you,

٧ 7 وَإِيَّاكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ تَتَضَايَقُونَ رَاحَةً مَعَنَا، عِنْدَ ٱسْتِعْلَانِ ٱلرَّبِّ يَسُوعَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاءِ مَعَ مَلَائِكَةِ قُوَّتِهِ،

and relief to you who are afflicted with us. He will do this at the appearing of the Lord Jesus from heaven with the angels of his power.

٨ 8 فِي نَارِ لَهِيبٍ، مُعْطِيًا نَقْمَةً لِلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْرِفُونَ ٱللهَ، وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُطِيعُونَ إِنْجِيلَ رَبِّنَا يَسُوعَ ٱلْمَسِيحِ،

In flaming fire he will take vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not respond to the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

٩ 9 ٱلَّذِينَ سَيُعَاقَبُونَ بِهَلَاكٍ أَبَدِيٍّ مِنْ وَجْهِ ٱلرَّبِّ وَمِنْ مَجْدِ قُوَّتِهِ، (aiōnios g166)

They will be punished with eternal destruction away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his power. (aiōnios g166)

١٠ 10 مَتَى جَاءَ لِيَتَمَجَّدَ فِي قِدِّيسِيهِ وَيُتَعَجَّبَ مِنْهُ فِي جَمِيعِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ. لِأَنَّ شَهَادَتَنَا عِنْدَكُمْ صُدِّقَتْ فِي ذَلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ.

He will do this when he comes on that day to be glorified by his people and to be marveled at by all those who believed. For our testimony to you was believed.

١١ 11 ٱلْأَمْرُ ٱلَّذِي لِأَجْلِهِ نُصَلِّي أَيْضًا كُلَّ حِينٍ مِنْ جِهَتِكُمْ: أَنْ يُؤَهِّلَكُمْ إِلَهُنَا لِلدَّعْوَةِ، وَيُكَمِّلَ كُلَّ مَسَرَّةِ ٱلصَّلَاحِ وَعَمَلَ ٱلْإِيمَانِ بِقُوَّةٍ،

Because of this we also pray continually for you. We pray that our God will consider you worthy of your calling. We pray that he will fulfill every desire of goodness and every work of faith with power.

١٢ 12 لِكَيْ يَتَمَجَّدَ ٱسْمُ رَبِّنَا يَسُوعَ ٱلْمَسِيحِ فِيكُمْ، وَأَنْتُمْ فِيهِ، بِنِعْمَةِ إِلَهِنَا وَٱلرَّبِّ يَسُوعَ ٱلْمَسِيحِ.

We pray these things so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified by you. We pray that you will be glorified by him, because of the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
