٢ يوحنَّا 1

١ 1 اَلشَّيْخُ، إِلَى كِيرِيَّةَ ٱلْمُخْتَارَةِ، وَإِلَى أَوْلَادِهَا ٱلَّذِينَ أَنَا أُحِبُّهُمْ بِٱلْحَقِّ، وَلَسْتُ أَنَا فَقَطْ، بَلْ أَيْضًا جَمِيعُ ٱلَّذِينَ قَدْ عَرَفُوا ٱلْحَقَّ.

The elder To [the] elect lady and to the children of her whom I myself love in truth, and not I myself only, but also all those already knowing the truth —

٢ 2 مِنْ أَجْلِ ٱلْحَقِّ ٱلَّذِي يَثْبُتُ فِينَا وَسَيَكُونُ مَعَنَا إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ: (aiōn g165)

because of the truth which is abiding in us and with us that will be to the age: (aiōn g165)

٣ 3 تَكُونُ مَعَكُمْ نِعْمَةٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ وَسَلَامٌ مِنَ ٱللهِ ٱلْآبِ وَمِنَ ٱلرَّبِّ يَسُوعَ ٱلْمَسِيحِ، ٱبْنِ ٱلْآبِ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَٱلْمَحَبَّةِ.

Will be with us grace mercy [and] peace from God [the] Father and from (Lord *K) Jesus Christ the Son of the Father in truth and love.

٤ 4 فَرِحْتُ جِدًّا لِأَنِّي وَجَدْتُ مِنْ أَوْلَادِكِ بَعْضًا سَالِكِينَ فِي ٱلْحَقِّ، كَمَا أَخَذْنَا وَصِيَّةً مِنَ ٱلْآبِ.

I rejoiced exceedingly that I have found [some] of the children of you walking in truth even as commandment we received from the Father.

٥ 5 وَٱلْآنَ أَطْلُبُ مِنْكِ يَا كِيرِيَّةُ، لَا كَأَنِّي أَكْتُبُ إِلَيْكِ وَصِيَّةً جَدِيدَةً، بَلِ ٱلَّتِي كَانَتْ عِنْدَنَا مِنَ ٱلْبَدْءِ: أَنْ يُحِبَّ بَعْضُنَا بَعْضًا.

And now I implore you, lady, not as a commandment new I am writing to you but that which we have had from [the] beginning, that we may love one another.

٦ 6 وَهَذِهِ هِيَ ٱلْمَحَبَّةُ: أَنْ نَسْلُكَ بِحَسَبِ وَصَايَاهُ. هَذِهِ هِيَ ٱلْوَصِيَّةُ: كَمَا سَمِعْتُمْ مِنَ ٱلْبَدْءِ أَنْ تَسْلُكُوا فِيهَا.

And this is love that we may walk according to the commandments of Him. This the commandment is even as you have heard from [the] beginning, so that in it you may walk;

٧ 7 لِأَنَّهُ قَدْ دَخَلَ إِلَى ٱلْعَالَمِ مُضِلُّونَ كَثِيرُونَ، لَا يَعْتَرِفُونَ بِيَسُوعَ ٱلْمَسِيحِ آتِيًا فِي ٱلْجَسَدِ. هَذَا هُوَ ٱلْمُضِلُّ، وَٱلضِّدُّ لِلْمَسِيحِ.

For many deceivers (have gone out *N+KO) into the world, those not confessing Jesus Christ coming in flesh; This is the deceiver and the antichrist.

٨ 8 ٱنْظُرُوا إِلَى أَنْفُسِكُمْ لِئَلَّا نُضَيِّعَ مَا عَمِلْنَاهُ، بَلْ نَنَالَ أَجْرًا تَامًّا.

do watch yourselves so that not (you may lose *N+KO) what things (we have worked for, *NK+O) but a reward full (you may receive. *N+KO)

٩ 9 كُلُّ مَنْ تَعَدَّى وَلَمْ يَثْبُتْ فِي تَعْلِيمِ ٱلْمَسِيحِ فَلَيْسَ لَهُ ٱللهُ. وَمَنْ يَثْبُتْ فِي تَعْلِيمِ ٱلْمَسِيحِ فَهَذَا لَهُ ٱلْآبُ وَٱلِٱبْنُ جَمِيعًا.

Anyone who (is progressing *N+KO) and not abiding in the teaching of Christ God not has; The [one] abiding in the teaching (of the Christ *K) this [one] both the Father and the Son has.

١٠ 10 إِنْ كَانَ أَحَدٌ يَأْتِيكُمْ، وَلَا يَجِيءُ بِهَذَا ٱلتَّعْلِيمِ، فَلَا تَقْبَلُوهُ فِي ٱلْبَيْتِ، وَلَا تَقُولُوا لَهُ سَلَامٌ.

If anyone comes to you and this teaching not does bring, not do receive him into [the] house, and to greet him not do tell;

١١ 11 لِأَنَّ مَنْ يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْهِ يَشْتَرِكُ فِي أَعْمَالِهِ ٱلشِّرِّيرَةِ.

the [one] telling for him to rejoice partakes in the works of him evil.

١٢ 12 إِذْ كَانَ لِي كَثِيرٌ لِأَكْتُبَ إِلَيْكُمْ، لَمْ أُرِدْ أَنْ يَكُونَ بِوَرَقٍ وَحِبْرٍ، لِأَنِّي أَرْجُو أَنْ آتِيَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَأَتَكَلَّمَ فَمًا لِفَمٍ، لِكَيْ يَكُونَ فَرَحُنَا كَامِلًا.

Many things having to you to write not I purposed with paper and ink; but I hope (to come *N+kO) to you and mouth to mouth to speak so that the joy (of us *NK+O) completed may be.

١٣ 13 يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْكِ أَوْلَادُ أُخْتِكِ ٱلْمُخْتَارَةِ. آمِينَ.

Greet you the children of the sister of you elect (Amen. *KO)
