١ تسالونيكي 3

١ 1 لِذَلِكَ إِذْ لَمْ نَحْتَمِلْ أَيْضًا ٱسْتَحْسَنَّا أَنْ نُتْرَكَ فِي أَثِينَا وَحْدَنَا.

Therefore, when we could no longer bear it, we thought it was good to be left behind at Athens alone.

٢ 2 فَأَرْسَلْنَا تِيمُوثَاوُسَ أَخَانَا، وَخَادِمَ ٱللهِ، وَٱلْعَامِلَ مَعَنَا فِي إِنْجِيلِ ٱلْمَسِيحِ، حَتَّى يُثَبِّتَكُمْ وَيَعِظَكُمْ لِأَجْلِ إِيمَانِكُمْ،

We sent Timothy, our brother and fellow worker for God in the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and comfort you regarding your faith.

٣ 3 كَيْ لَا يَتَزَعْزَعَ أَحَدٌ فِي هَذِهِ ٱلضِّيقَاتِ. فَإِنَّكُمْ أَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّنَا مَوْضُوعُونَ لِهَذَا.

We did this so that no one would be shaken by these sufferings. For yourselves know that for this we have been appointed.

٤ 4 لِأَنَّنَا لَمَّا كُنَّا عِنْدَكُمْ، سَبَقْنَا فَقُلْنَا لَكُمْ: إِنَّنَا عَتِيدُونَ أَنْ نَتَضَايَقَ، كَمَا حَصَلَ أَيْضًا، وَأَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ.

Truly, when we were with you, we told you in advance that we were about to suffer affliction, and that happened, as you know.

٥ 5 مِنْ أَجْلِ هَذَا إِذْ لَمْ أَحْتَمِلْ أَيْضًا، أَرْسَلْتُ لِكَيْ أَعْرِفَ إِيمَانَكُمْ، لَعَلَّ ٱلْمُجَرِّبَ يَكُونُ قَدْ جَرَّبَكُمْ، فَيَصِيرَ تَعَبُنَا بَاطِلًا.

For this reason, when I could no longer stand it, I sent that I might know about your faith. Perhaps the tempter had somehow tempted you, and our labor was in vain.

٦ 6 وَأَمَّا ٱلْآنَ فَإِذْ جَاءَ إِلَيْنَا تِيمُوثَاوُسُ مِنْ عِنْدِكُمْ، وَبَشَّرَنَا بِإِيمَانِكُمْ وَمَحَبَّتِكُمْ، وَبِأَنَّ عِنْدَكُمْ ذِكْرًا لَنَا حَسَنًا كُلَّ حِينٍ، وَأَنْتُمْ مُشْتَاقُونَ أَنْ تَرَوْنَا، كَمَا نَحْنُ أَيْضًا أَنْ نَرَاكُمْ،

But Timothy came to us from you and brought us the good news of your faith and love. He told us that you always have good memories of us, and that you long to see us just as we also long to see you.

٧ 7 فَمِنْ أَجْلِ هَذَا تَعَزَّيْنَا أَيُّهَا ٱلْإِخْوَةُ مِنْ جِهَتِكُمْ - فِي ضِيقَتِنَا وَضَرُورَتِنَا - بِإِيمَانِكُمْ.

Because of this, brothers, we were comforted by you because of your faith, in all our distress and affliction.

٨ 8 لِأَنَّنَا ٱلْآنَ نَعِيشُ إِنْ ثَبَتُّمْ أَنْتُمْ فِي ٱلرَّبِّ.

For now we live, if you stand firm in the Lord.

٩ 9 لِأَنَّهُ أَيَّ شُكْرٍ نَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ نُعَوِّضَ إِلَى ٱللهِ مِنْ جِهَتِكُمْ عَنْ كُلِّ ٱلْفَرَحِ ٱلَّذِي نَفْرَحُ بِهِ مِنْ أَجْلِكُمْ قُدَّامَ إِلَهِنَا؟

For what thanks can we give to God for you, for all the joy that we have before our God over you?

١٠ 10 طَالِبِينَ لَيْلًا وَنَهَارًا أَوْفَرَ طَلَبٍ، أَنْ نَرَى وُجُوهَكُمْ، وَنُكَمِّلَ نَقَائِصَ إِيمَانِكُمْ.

Night and day we pray very hard that we may see your face and provide what is lacking in your faith.

١١ 11 وَٱللهُ نَفْسُهُ أَبُونَا وَرَبُّنَا يَسُوعُ ٱلْمَسِيحُ يَهْدِي طَرِيقَنَا إِلَيْكُمْ.

May our God and Father himself, and our Lord Jesus, direct our way to you.

١٢ 12 وَٱلرَّبُّ يُنْمِيكُمْ وَيَزِيدُكُمْ فِي ٱلْمَحَبَّةِ بَعْضَكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ وَلِلْجَمِيعِ، كَمَا نَحْنُ أَيْضًا لَكُمْ،

May the Lord make you increase and abound in love one for another and toward all people, as we also do for you.

١٣ 13 لِكَيْ يُثَبِّتَ قُلُوبَكُمْ بِلَا لَوْمٍ فِي ٱلْقَدَاسَةِ، أَمَامَ ٱللهِ أَبِينَا فِي مَجِيءِ رَبِّنَا يَسُوعَ ٱلْمَسِيحِ مَعَ جَمِيعِ قِدِّيسِيهِ.

May he strengthen your hearts, so that they will be blameless in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.
