Titus 1
1 Bulus, kucin Kutelle nin nanan kadura Yesu Kristi, udu utune ana yinu sa uyenu nale na ina fere naini nnuzu Kutelle nin tunu kidegene nin yinu udine nale na yina nin katwa kachine Kutelle
Paul a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, for promoting the faith of God's chosen people, and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness:
2 Nin likara kibinai au lai sa liga, un Kutelle ulena adini kinu b, nin likawali vat kafin uur kubi. (aiōnios g166)
in hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before all ages; (aiōnios g166)

and hath in his own times manifested his word, by the preaching, with which I was intrusted according to the commandment of God our Saviour:
4 Udu kiti Titus, gono kidegen nanya yinu sa uyen. Ubolu Kutelle nkuneme nin shau kibinai nnuzu Kutelle nin Kristi Yesu. unan tucu bite.
to Titus my son in the common faith, grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.
5 Bara nani iwa cinfi nanya Krete, uma suu imene na ti sa suu ba unin tarda akune ucharananya ni gbir nafo na ina belin fi.
For this cause I left thee in Crete, that thou mightest set in order what remained, and ordain elders in every city as I directed thee:
6 Akune na iwa yita nin dinon b, ules uwani urum nin nono nayi achine na nin dinonkibinai ba nin salin lazu nliru.
to wit, if any one be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children, not accused of debauchery, or unruly.
7 Uhoon igime ame unan yenjue, kilari Kutelle yita lau sa kulapi. na awa yita
For a bishop must be blameless as the steward of God, not self-willed, not passionate, not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of sordid gain:
8 Nin nani na ayita una sesu namara, una suu nilemong na chou. Ayita unan kpilzu uchine ayita lau, una feu Kuteele nin minu litime.
but hospitable, benevolent, sober, just, holy, temperate;
9 Ulena ama minu gagan ligulan kidegen, bara anan taa among likara nanya liru uchine nin dursuzu uchine nin kelu na le na inari ghe.
holding fast the faithful word, according as he hath been taught, that he may be able both to instruct in sound doctrine, and to convince gainsayers.
10 Bara among duku gbardan anannazu kiti masaman ale na ina suu nani ukachiya ti gbulan mine cauzin ba. Idin rusuzu anit udu lidina linanzan.
For there are many disorderly persons, vain-talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision; whose mouths must be stopped:
11 Ucaun ikpadani. Idin dursuzu ilemon na icau idusuza ba, bara imong chiin insali riba nin musuzu kilari.
who subvert whole families, teaching what they ought not, for shameful gain:
12 Umong mine, adi jinjin ka aworoAnan fulzu kinu nsali ligan inani iyita imun fiu nafo inawan ten, nin kugbala nidowo.''
as said one of themselves, a prophet of their own, "The Cretans are always liars, mischievous beasts, sluggish gluttons."
13 Ule ulire kidegegher, tamas ukele nani ina su dert nanya yinnu sauyenu.
This testimony is true: for which cause rebuke them sharply, that they may be found in the faith;
14 Nauwa nii kibinai fe na Yahudawa nin na biin mine ba, ko udu tidokoki nanit na kpila nin kibinai kit kidegene.
not attending to Jewish fables, and the precepts of men who turn away from the truth.
15 Udu kiti na le na idi lau, vat umong di lau. Bara udu kiti na lena idi zemzem nin diru yinu nimong ilau. Bara nibinai mine nin kpilizu mine di nanzanghari.
To the pure indeed all things are pure; but to the polluted and unbelieving nothing is pure; even their mind and conscience is polluted.
16 Imasi fo iyiru Kutelle, bara nani inani narighe nin matiza mine. Na icau ba inin di gbas. Na katwa kacine di kiti mine ba.
They profess to know God, but in works deny Him, being abominable and disobedient, and to every thing that is good void of understanding.
