1 Sana iyiru ba linuana [in din liru nin na nit ale na yiru uduka] bara uduka din dortu nin nit nan nya na yirin in lai me?
ARE you unacquainted, brethren, (for I am speaking to those who know the law, ) that the law exercises dominion over a person for as long time as he liveth?
2 Ame uwani ni luma a terin nin lesse nan nya nisilin niluma ywase ulesse nnku, abuntu nannya ni silin ni luma.
For the woman who is subject to a husband, is bound by the law to that husband during his life; but if the husband be dead, she is discharged from that husband.
3 Bara nan, nan nya kubi ko na ulsse di nin lai asa anuzu asu iluma nin mong ima yichi ghe ukilak. Asa ulesse nku anuzu ni silin nilumea na du ikilaki asa su ilumama nin mong uni.
She shall therefore certainly be counted an adulteress, if, her husband being alive, she be for another man: but if her husband is dead, she is free from the law; so that she shall be no adulteress, though married to another husband.
4 Bara nanere nwa na nin i wa ti munu anan kul bar uduka nan nyan Kirst, bara ina dofuzonu ligowe nin nin nat, bara ame, naiwafiya ghe nan nya nan ku, bara bara nan macha nono fiu Kutelle.
Wherefore, my brethren, ye also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ; that ye might be for another, who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit for God.
5 Kube na ti wadi nakidowo wanuzu kamang nan nya niti niti nidowo bite. In nuzum duka bara tinan nut tuno nono kul.
For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions excited by the law, wrought powerfully in our members, to bring forth fruit unto death.
6 Nene ina nutun nari nan nyan duk a tinani naku nan nyan in chn bite na ti wa kif, bara ti nan su kata kapese nan nya in fip Kutelle, na nan nya in chin ukuse ba.
But now we have been discharged from the law, that being dead by which we were held fast; that we should serve in renovation of spirit, and not in the antiquity of the letter.
7 Ani iyari tima belle nene? Ani uduk kulapiari litime? Na uwa so nanin b. Vat nin nan, na inwa na yinin kulapi ba, sasana uduka b. Na inwa yiru iyiru iyari kunaniyizi sasa na uduke na bellin b, “Naubasu kunaniyizi ba,”
What then shall we say? Is the law sin? God forbid. Yea, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not even known concupiscence, unless the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
8 Tutun kulapi nayiru kubi nan nya in duka unare na dak nin vat intok kulapi nan nya nin. Tutun andi na Uduka di ba kulapin nkul
But sin, seizing the opportunity by the law, wrought in me all concupiscence. For without the law sin is dead.
9 so uurum in wa yita nin bai sa Uduka ne uduka dak kulapi koni na kuru kurun fita iminaku
For though I lived without the law formerly; yet when the commandment came, sin revived, but I died.
10 Uduka na una din wori ubani ulai unin na da nin kul.
And the commandment, which was for life, the same was found by me for death.
11 Kulapi na yiru kubi nan nyan Uduka kurusuzu, nkoni na molii kitenen uduke.
For sin, seizing the occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and thereby slew me.
12 Nani ushara di lau a uduka lau imon ichine nin chau. So urum in wa yita nin lai sa uduka, nene na uduka na da, kulapi koni na kuru ku fita immini nak,
So then the law indeed is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
13 Nni nene imon ichine isoyi ukulla? Na nani b. Nani kulapi, bara in durso kulapi ari sai nan nyan ni mon igegeme. uni na dai nin kul bara nan nya induka kulapi na na nnzu kamang.
Did then that which is good become fatal to me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin by that which was good in itself, was the cause of death to me; that sin through the commandment might become transcendantly sinful.
14 Bara tiyiru o Usharawe di nin fip kutelle, vat nanin in di na kidow. Ina lewi udu lichi nan nya, kulapi.
For we know that the law is spiritual; but I am fleshly, sold under sin.
15 Bara iwon ile na idin suzuna in yirub. Imon ile na indi nin sun su. Na in nare indun sue ba imon ile nain nari inare indin sue.
For that which I am doing I approve not: for not the thing which I wish, that do I practise; but the very thing I hate, that I do.
16 Bara nani andi in din su iwon ile na in dimin suwe b. Men yinni nin woru ushara chau.
But if what I would not, that I do, I concur with the law that it is excellent.
17 Bara nani na mere din suzu ininb, kulape na kudi in nan nya nigher.
Now then no more I do this, but sin dwelling in me.
18 Bara nanin men nan nya kidowo nigh, na imon ichine duku b, bara usuu ni mon ichine di nmi vat nani na in wasa su ba.
For I know that there dwelleth not in me (that is, in my flesh) any good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
19 Bara imon ichine ile na in dinin su in s, indin su b, nani imon inanzang ile na in di nin suwa ba inere in din su.
For I do not the good which I wish: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20 Nene asan insuimon ile na indi nin su b, to nanere nane din in sue b, vat nane kulere na kudi nan nya nighe.
If then I do that which I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
21 In se nan nya ime likara lichine in di nin sun in su imon ichin, vat nanin imon inanzanghari di in me.
I find then a law, that, when I wish to do good, evil is presented to me.
22 In di nin liburi libo nin shara Kutelle bara uni ule na adi nan nya ni.
For I am delighted with the law of God, as respecting the inward man:
23 Mmini yene umon uka'idari ugan di niti niti kidowo nighe udi likum nin ukai'da upeseh nan nya kibinai nighe aminin yirai kuchin bara ukai'da kulapi ule udi niti niti nidowo nighe.
but I see another law in my members, militating against the law in my mind, and making me captive to the law of sin which is in my members.
24 Ki kimong nameng! Ghari ba tuchu menku nan nya kidawo nkul?
O wretched man, I! who shall pluck me from the body of this death?
25 Liburi libo kiti Kutelle bara Kirsti Yisa Chikila bit. Bara nani meng litini ghe in lon li kot mmaa dortu Ushara Kutell, in lon li kot tutung indortu uka'ida kulapi nin kidowo.
I give thanks to God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Well then, I myself with my mind am servant to the law of God; but in my flesh to the law of sin.
