< Uruyan Yuhana 18 >

1 Na ile imone wakat vat uwa yene kan gono kadura Kutelle ntulsu cin dak nnuzu kitene kani. A wa di nin likara lidya, uye wa li kanang nin gongon mye.
And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was made bright with his glory.
2 A taa ntyet nin liwui lidya, abenle, “Udewu, udewu ubabalila udiyai a so kitin lisosin na gbergenu, kiti lisosin vat ti ruhu ti nanzang nin kiti lisosin vat kijin kuzenzen.
And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of demons, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
3 Nipinpin ne vat nsono ntoro nzina mye na mina da ninghe tinana nayi. Ago nyii nasu uzina ninghe. Anan malesulesa nanya nyii so anan nimon na cara bara likara lisosin limang mye.”
For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her immorality, and the kings of the earth have committed acts of immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
4 Nlanza nlon liwui nnuzu ketene kani nworo, “Nuzun nanya mene, anit ning, bara i wa seru imemun inanzan mye.
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
5 Alapi mye malkulu udu kitene kani, Kutelle nin katwa ka nanzan mye.
For her sins have reached to heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
6 Kurtunghe ku imon na ame na su anite, kurtwaghe ku tiba iman ile na ana kurtuz anite ku; nanya kakup ka na awa ketelin, ketelenghe ti ba.
Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double to her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
7 Nafo na ana ghantin liti mye anin su mang, naghe gbardang uniu nin tunana naye. A woro nanya kibinai mye, 'Nsosin nafo ushono ngo; Na meng unan diru nlisari ba, na iwa yenu kibinai kisirnebai.
How much she hath glorified herself, and lived luxuriously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
8 Bara nani imon inanzan mye ma se ghe: ukull, lisosin nayi asirne, nin kukpon. Ula ma liighe.”
Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
9 Agon yee na ina su uzina ninghe inani na nuzu insalin lanzun niliru ninghe ima gilu nin ghe i wa yene mcin nli nla mye din ghanju.
And the kings of the earth, who have committed acts of immorality and lived luxuriously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
10 I ma yisinupiit, idin lanzu fiyu nniyu mye, mbenlu, “Kash, kash udu kipin ki diya, Babila, kipin llikara! Nanyan kube kurun uniu fe ndaa.”
Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
11 Anan malesulesu nye gila nin lisosin nayi asirne bara ame, bara na umong ma kuru asere imon nlesu mye tutung ba-
And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
12 Imon lesu ni zinariyanin, nin nazurfa, nin natola nikurfung, nin luu-luu, nin liniw ukpekpet, nin nimon nmyein nafo, nin siliki, nin malufi vat nin naca nikurfuung, nin vat nishik nicaut, nin fikoro fishine, nin fikoro fisirne nin mabil,
The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all kinds of vessels of ivory, and all kinds of vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
13 nin fikoro, nin animon, nin turare, nin mai kuya kunang, nin lubar, nin alkama, nin nina, nin nakam, nin nibark, nin karusa, nin nacin, nin ti lai na nit.
And cinnamon, and incense, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and cattle, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and bodies, and souls of men.
14 Ku mat na ca ko na una din nin serwe i wulu fi. Vat mmang fe nin nimon fo figiri i nana kiti fe, na ima kuru ise inin tutung ba.
And the fruits that thy soul lusted after have departed from thee, and all things which were luxurious and splendid have departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.
15 Ale na i wa din nlesu nile imone se ikurfung kang bara usu mye yisina piit ninghe bara fiiyu nniyu mye, kuculu nin tiit nayi asirne.
The merchants of these things, who were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
16 I ma woro, “Kash, kash nin kipin ki diya kane na ki wa su kuyuk nin ni ninoon icene, nanya nimon nmyein nafa, nin kye kidowome nin nizinariya, nin nimoon natuf nikurfung nin luu-luu.”
And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
17 Nanya kube kurum vat nilele imoon nikurfunghe nana. Vat nanan con njirgi myeen, vat nanang cin nanya njirgi myeen, nin na le na i din sessu imonli nanyan kurawa ku dundya we, yisina piit.
For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
18 I taa ntest na iyene incin nli nla mye. I woro, “Kiyeme kipinari masin fo ka kipin ki dya?”
And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like this great city!
19 i tiza lidao nidowo mene, inin taa nteet, ning myiziin mi gbagbai nin lisosin tiyoom, “Kash, kash udu kipin kidya kane ki kaa na vat nale na i di nin tijirgin myen kurawa kudin dya nda se ikurfun ku unuzun dukiya mye. Bara na nanya kubi kurum ida nanza ghe.”
And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, in which were made rich all that had ships in the sea by her wealth! for in one hour is she made desolate.
20 “Taan liburi liboo bara ameh, kitene kani, anung anit alau, anang kaduran Yesu, nin nanan liru nin nuu Kutelle, bara na Kutelle nda nin mawucu wuce mye lite mye!”
Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.
21 Unan katwa Kutelle yira litala nafo litala tiyazung a too linin nanya kurawa kudya we, a benle, “Nanya nlo libau ule, uBabila, kipin kidya, i ma fillu kutyein nin tinana nayi na i ma kuru i yene tutung ba.
And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be no more found.
And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be no more heard in thee; and no craftsman, of whatever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be no more heard in thee;
And the light of a lamp shall shine no more in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
24 Nanya mye i wa se nmyii nanang liru ning nuu Kutelle nin nanit a lau, ning myii na le na i wa mulsu nani nanya nyii.”
And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.
