< Markos 6 >

1 Yisa nuzu kikane ada kipin me, nono katwa me dofinghe.
AND he went out thence, and came into his native country; and his disciples followed him.
''Kayapin katwa fiu wari kane adin su nin nachara me?''
And when the sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many when they heard him were amazed, saying, Whence hath this man these things? and what is the wisdom given to him, that even such miracles are done by his hands?
3 Na unan kisẹ kanere ulele, usaun Maremu, gwanan Yakubu nin Joses, a Yahuda nin Simon ba?''
Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James and Joses, and Judah and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.
4 Yisa woro nani, ''Na unan liru nin nu Kutellẹ din diru ngogong ba, se nan nya kagbiri me nin likura me, a nan nya gamẹ,''
Then said Jesus unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his native place, and among his relations, and in his own family.
5 Na awa yinin usu kang katwa kadya nan nya kipinme ba, ma anan tikonu batari awa tarda nani achara ishino chas.
And he could not do there any miracle, except that laying his hands on a few sick persons he cured them.
6 Usalin yinnu sa uyenu minere na Yisa ku umamaki. A pira nan nya nigbiri mine adursuzo nani.
And he marvelled at their infidelity. And he went about the villages around, teaching.
7 A yichila nono katwa me likure nin nan waba, a tonani inung nababa, a nani likara kitene tiruhohi tinanzang,
And called the twelve, and began to send them two and two, and gave them authority over unclean spirits.
8 a ta nani ligan na iwa yiru imomon ba se ucan ncin. Na iwa yiru imonli sa nka likura, sa ikurfung najip mine ba,
And he commanded them, that they should take nothing for the journey, except a staff only; neither scrip, nor bread, nor even brass money in their purse:
9 ima shonu akpatak nabunu mine, ba nin nalutuk aba.
wearing sandals, and not to be clothed with two coats.
10 A woro nani ''Asa ipira kilari, iso ku udu lirin gyu mine.
And he said unto them, Wheresoever ye enter into a family, there abide until ye depart thence.
11 Andi nkan kiti nnari useru munu, sa inari ulanzu munu, asa iba gyu kitẹ, ikotino lidau nabunu mine kitẹ, unan so imon bellu nati mine,'' Ndin belu minu kidegen, Usodom nin Gomora ma katunu nin lanzu nmang liri nshara nin kagbiri kane.
And as many as shall not receive you, neither hearken to you, when ye go from thence, shake off the dust from beneath your feet, for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city.
12 Inuzu idin bellu anit icin alapi mine.
And going forth, they preached, that men should repent.
13 Inutuzuno agbergenu gbardang, itinto anan tikonu, ishizuno nin ghinu gbardang.
And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many sick persons, and cured them.
14 Ugoh Hirdus lanza nani, bara na lisan Yisa wa nuzu kanang. Among yitang du au Yuhana unan sun Mbaptismari ina fyaghe nan nya kisek, bara nanere nta wang adin suzu matiza likara.''
And king Herod heard it (for his name was celebrated), and he said, This is John the Baptist, he is risen from the dead, and therefore miracles are wrought by him.
15 Among mine woro, ''Iliyari di'.'' Among tutung woro au ''Unang kadura Nnu Kutellẹ ari, nafo umong nan nya kaduran nnu Kutellẹ na awadi nanan burnu.''
Others said, That it is Elias; and others said, He is a prophet, or as one of the prophets.
16 Na Hiridus nlanza nani aworo ''Yuhana na nwan kalaghe liti inan fyaghe.''
But when Herod heard it, he said, This is John whom I beheaded; he is risen from the dead.
17 Ame Hiriduse litime, wa ti ikifo Yuhana ku a tereghe nan nya kilari lichin, bara Hiriduya uwanni gwaname Filibus na awa nutu asu ilugma mun.
For Herod himself had sent and seized upon John, and bound him in prison, for Herodias’ sake, his brother Philip’s wife; because he had married her.
18 Bara na Yuhane wa bellin Hiridus ku, ''Na uchau nan nya duka uyaun uwannin gwanafine usu ilugma mun ba.''
For John said to Herod, It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother’s wife.
19 Ame Hiriduya ta tinanayi kitenen lirun Yuhana, atunna a pizira umolughe. Ama na ase libau ba,
Therefore Herodias bore him a rooted resentment, and would have slain him; yet could not:
20 bara na Hiridus wa din lanzu fiun Yuhanẹ, bara ayiru Yuhana unan lanzun fiu Kutellẹri nin chin ukanang, unere ta Hiriduse gyesheghe bara imoi imon wa seghe. Kube na awa lanza uwazin Yuhana, asa fyaghe kibinayi, vat nanẹ, ata ayi abọ nin lanzun nlirun Yuhana.
for Herod feared John, knowing him to be a righteous and holy man; and paid great attention to him and when he heard him, did many things, and heard him with delight.
21 Na lirin nda na Hiriduya nsẹ kubi kongo na aba su imon kibinayi me, abata gai lirin kulu nayiri kumantin, Hiridus asu likanju limang bara Agoh nyi, Agoh likum nan nadidyan Galili, bara liburi libọ lirin maru me.
And a favourable day being come for her purpose, when Herod on his birth-day made a supper for his nobles, and military commanders, and the principal personages of Galilee;
22 Ushonon Hiriduya da ada su avu nbun mine, ata Hiridus ku nin namara me lanza nmang. Ugoh tunna aworo kuburẹ, ''vat nimon ilenge na udinin suwẹ, tirini nma nifi ining''
and the daughter of this Herodias coming in, and dancing, and delighting Herod, and his company, the king said to the damsel, Ask me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it thee.
23 A siloghe aworo, vat nimon ile na utirini, nba nifi, adi ma yitu udu kiyitik nayi tigo ning.''
And he swore unto her, That whatsoever thou shalt ask, I will give thee, even to the half of my kingdom.
24 A nuzu udas adi woro nname, ''Iyaghari imba tiringhe?'' Unẹ woroghe ''Litin Yuhana unan sun baptisma.''
Then she went out and said to her mother, What shall I ask? and she said, The head of John the Baptist.
25 A kpila mass udu nan nya kudarẹ kitin gohwe a woroghe, Ndinin su uni nene litin Yuhana unan sun baptisma nan nya kishik.''
And she came in immediately with eagerness to the king, and asked, saying, I desire that thou wilt give me on the spot, in a charger, the head of John the Baptist.
26 Imone tunna ita Ugohwẹ yototo, ama bara isilingme nin namara a didyawe, na ayinno unari nimone na kuburen tirino ba.
And the king was exceedingly sorry; yet on account of his oath, and those who sat with him, he would not refuse her.
27 Ugohwẹ tunna a tọ nkong kusoja nan nya nanan cha nin liru likara a dọ adi kala litin Yuhana a dak mun. Unan chawẹ do adi werin litin Yuhana nan nya kilari lichine.
And the king immediately sending a centinel, commanded his head to be brought thither: and he went, and beheaded him in the prison,
28 A da nin litẹ na kishik ada na kubure, ame kubure na unamẹ.
and brought his head in a charger, and gave it to the damsel, and the damsel gave it to her mother.
29 Nin lanzu nani, anan katwa me da ida yauna libẹ idi kasu.
And when his disciples heard it, they came and took up his corpse, and laid it in a sepulchre.
30 Anan kadurẹ pitiruno atimine kitin Yisa, ibelinghe vat nimon ile na isu nin nilẹ.
And the disciples came together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught.
31 Aworo ani dan vat min tido likot kiti ka na anit diku ba ida shin baat. ''Bara na among wadi idasu igyiza, na ise kubin shinu sa kun linimonli ba.
And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and repose a little while: for there were multitudes coming and going, so that they had not even time to eat.
32 Itunna igya nan nya zirgin nmyen udu kan kiti tik ussanminu.
And they went into a desert place in a vessel privately.
33 Ama anite yene nani kubin gyiwẹ iyinno. Itunna iwufuani ligowe nin nabunu unuzu nigbiri-nigbiri, idi yarin nani udi durẹ.
And the multitudes observed them going off, and many knew him, and ran thither on foot out of all the cities, and got before them, and came together unto him.
34 Kube na iduru ugauwe, Yisa yene ligozin, alanza inkune kune mine, bara na iwa masin fo ligọ nakam sa unan dortu nighinu. A tunna dursuzu nani nimon gbardang.
And Jesus, when he landed, saw a vast multitude, and was moved with companion towards them, for they were as sheep having no shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.
35 Kiti tunna kita yilili, nono katwa me woroghe, ''kikane kiti kikoneri, tutung kitin mal cizunu usiru.
And when great part of the day was already gone, his disciples coming to him said, This is a desert place, and much of the day is already gone:

send them away, that they may go into the country places and villages around, and buy themselves bread; for they have nothing to eat.
37 Yisa kpana a woroani, ''Anung na nani imonlẹ ili.''I woroghe, ''Ti wasa tidi seru imonli nakalt aba ibatina naniẹ?''
But he answering said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, Shall we go and buy the value of two hundred denarii, in loaves, and give them to eat?
38 Aworo nani, ''Idin nin nimalak imashina? Chan idi gbin.”''Kube na igbinọ, iworo, imalak itaun nin nibọ iba.''
But he said to them, How many loaves have ye? go and see. And when they knew, they said, Five, and two fishes.
39 A ta anitẹ vat iso abut-abut kitenen kpi ushifi.
And he commanded them to seat them all by companies on the green grass:
40 Na isọ abute; among akalt akalt, among akut a taun-taun.
and they lay along row against row, a hundred deep, and fifty wide.
41 A yauna imalak itaune nin ninbo ibẹ a ghatina kitene kani, a ta nmari ku, anin na nono katwa me ikoso ligozin nanitẹ.
And taking the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to the disciples, that they should set them before them, and the two fishes he divided among them all.
42 I leo imonli ine vat mine kogha shitu gbem icinọ kagisighe.
And they did all eat, and were filled:
43 I pitiro kagisighe ita nakuzung likure nin naba.
and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes.
44 A rika na iwa li imonlẹ, nalililme amui ataunari wadi.
And they who did eat of the loaves, were about five thousand men.
45 A tunna ata anan katwa ipira uzirgi igya nbunme udu uleli uwule, udun Betaseda, ame na lawa kidung nfizu ligonzi nanite igya.
And immediately he compelled his disciples to go on board the vessel, and to go before him to the other side, to Bethsaida, while he sent the multitude away.
46 Na iwa malu kiti, a tunna a ghana likup nwo adi ti nlira.
And having bid them farewell, he went into a mountain to pray.
47 kulele da uzirge nin diyita kitik kulẹ, ame nin di yita usame ndase.
And when the evening was come, the vessel was in the midst of the sea, and himself alone on the land.
48 Ayene ani idin notuzu kiyitik kulẹ, bara na ufunu wadin yauzunu nani. Kitike wa di kimal fulu kiti kube wa di nafo ikoro inas, awa din chinu kitenen nmgyene uchin du kiti mine, ata nafo aba katuani.
And he saw them greatly fatigued with rowing, for the wind was contrary to them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh to them, walking upon the sea, and seemed intending to pass by them.
49 Na iyene nchin kitenen kurawe, itunnan su au nmọleri i ta ntẹt,
But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they thought it was an apparition, and screamed out:
50 bara na iwa iyeneghe, fiu kifo nani kang. Ame tunna ata deidei alirina nan ghinu aworo, ''Tan ayi akone! Mẹri di! Na iwa lanza fiu ba.''
for they all saw him, and were greatly agitated: and straitway he spoke to them, and said, Take courage, it is I, be not terrified.
51 A pira nan nya zirge ligowe nan ghinu, ufune tunna uyisina dang, vat mine umamaki kifo nani ninghe.
And he went up to them into the vessel, and the wind ceased and they were beyond all imagination amazed in themselves, and lost in wonder.
52 Bara na iwa yinin ubeleng nakalang nimonli ine ba, nibinayi wa di deidei nyinne ba.
For they reflected not upon the loaves, for their heart was hardened.
53 Kube nawa kafin kurawe, ida tolo kagbirin Janisarata inin tere uzurge nmyene kikane.
And when they had passed over, they came to the land of Gennesareth, and went on shore.
54 Na itolo nan nya zirgi nmyene, anite tunna iba yinnọ Yisa ku deidei.
And when they came out of the vessel, immediately perceiving him,
55 A nite tunna ipira udu nan nya kipinẹ vat idin nuchu nin nanan tikonu kitene nawaga mine, idasa mung kitime, ligan kiti ka na iwa lanza anuzu cin due.
running through all parts of that country, they began to carry about on couches those who were afflicted with diseases, wherever they heard that he was.
56 Vat kiti ka na awa piru ku nin gin gbiri, sa kagbiri, sa kipin, asa ida chiso anan tikonu nan nya niti tikasau, inin sughe kuchu kusu ayinin nani idi dudo (kubaga) kulutuk chass. Vat ligan nalenge na iwa dudo, iwa se ushinu.
And wherever they entered into villages or cities, or country places, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch, if but the fringe on his garment; and as many as touched it, were cured.
