< Ibraniyawa 12 >

1 Bara nani tunda nati kilin nin gbardang ligozi niyizu inba, nati filin vat nimon igetek ile na iba ti nari tisu kulapi, seng kunodino nari, na tisu ucum nin nshau kibinai ile na ina ceo nbun bite.
Furthermore, since we also have so great a cloud of witnesses over us, let us set aside every burden and sin which may surround us, and advance, through patience, to the struggle offered to us.
2 Na ti ceo iyizi bite kitin Yesu, unan kelu nin ti nlau nyinnu sa uyenu bite, ulenge na ulanzu nmang iwa ceo nbun mye, a tere kibinai nin niu, uraini nin nlanzu ncinn, amini wa so ncara uleme kuteet tigo Kutelle.
Let us gaze upon Jesus, as the Author and the completion of our faith, who, having joy laid out before him, endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and who now sits at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 Bara iwa yeneghe ulenge na awa teru kibinai nin nliru unanzang kiti nanan kulapi udu litime, sa nworu uwa dira sa kibinai tifi tenene.
So then, meditate upon him who endured such adversity from sinners against himself, so that you may not become weary, failing in your souls.
4 Fe udak nene usa nari sa usu nnono nin kulapi udu kubi na uba gutunu nmii.
For you have not yet resisted unto blood, while striving against sin.
5 Fe umini nshawa ukpinu nagang uta munu nafo nono, “gono nigh na uwa yassu uhoro Kutelle ba, sa kidowo kuffi kubi na utana amini nkele fi”
And you have forgotten the consolation which speaks to you like sons, saying: “My son, do not be willing to neglect the discipline of the Lord. Neither should you become weary, while being rebuked by him.”
6 Bara Kutelle din su uhoro nlenge na adinin su mye, akuru a kpizo gono kanga na ki sereghe.
For whomever the Lord loves, he chastises. And every son whom he accepts, he scourges.
7 Tere kibinai nin dumunu nafo uhorori, Kutelle din su nin ghinu nafo nono mye, bara kame gonari duku ulenge na ucif mye din sughe uhoro ba?
Persevere in discipline. God presents you to himself as sons. But what son is there, whom his father does not correct?
8 Bara asa idi sa uhoro, ulenge na vat bite ba se nanye, anug ba lawa nono nihem ana nin mye ba.
But if you are without that discipline in which all have become sharers, then you are of adultery, and you are not sons.
9 Ukpinue ku, tidinin nacif nanya inyulele idin su nari uhro tinani di dortu nani, na tiba durtu ucif bite kang unan nfip nin nlai ya?
Then, too, we have certainly had the fathers of our flesh as instructors, and we reverenced them. Should we not obey the Father of spirits all the more, and so live?
10 Bara acif bite asa usu nari uhoro kubi baat, nafo na uso nani gegeme, bara Kutelle asa asu nari uhoro tinana yita gegeme, tinan koso nlai ligowe.
And indeed, for a few days and according to their own wishes, they instructed us. But he does so to our benefit, so that we may receive his sanctification.
11 Na adin lanzu nmang nhoro ba kube ba, bara nani udin konu, vat nin nani udu nbune asa uda nin nsheu, a kiden kiti nalenge na ina dursuzo nani.
Now every discipline, in the present time, does not seem a gladness, of course, but a grief. But afterwards, it will repay a most peaceful fruit of justice to those who become trained in it.
12 Bara nani ghantinan acara mine ale na adira, allung mine na ata yototo, kpinan anin agang tutun.
Because of this, lift up your lazy hands and your lax knees,
13 Taan tibau nabunu mine ddrt, bara vat nlenge na adi ugurgu na iwa tighe alasin ba, bara nani ashin.
and straighten the path of your feet, so that no one, being lame, may wander astray, but instead may be healed.
14 Suun lisosin lisheu nan nanit vat, ikuru iso lau, twa dira nlau, na bi bayenu ciklare ba.
Pursue peace with everyone. Pursue sanctity, without which no one shall see God.
15 Suun seghe bara na ina kalla among nanya nse naliheri Kutella ba, nin wonu na iwa so litino ngwagwai nayi na liba bamum tinanzang, nin bunkurunu gbardang.
Be contemplative, lest anyone lack the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness spring up and impede you, and by it, many might be defiled,
16 Suun seghe na iwase unan nzina, sa unan sali ndortu Kutelle nafo Isuwa, ulenge bara imonli awa lewu ugadu ngono nfari.
lest any fornicator or worldly person be like Esau, who, for the sake of one meal, sold his birthright.
17 Bara inung yiru nin woro uka kidughe, kubi na awa ti kibinai nworu ase ugadu nmare, iwa nazughe mun, bara na awa se kubi nworu adiu ucife kutyin ba, vat nin woru awa pizuru kang nin nmizin.
For you know that afterwards, when he desired to inherit the benediction, he was rejected. For he found no place for repentance, even though he had sought it with tears.
18 Bara na anug wa dak likup na isa idudo, likup nlii nlah, nsirti, bibit nin ngurzunu.
But you have not drawn near to a tangible mountain, or a burning fire, or a whirlwind, or a mist, or a storm,
19 Na anug wa dak inan pee awulu/Alantun sa tigbulang nanya liwui, na tiba ti alenge na idin latizu linin isu kucikusu, nworu na awa kuru abellin nani ntong tigbulan nlira ba.
or the sound of a trumpet, or a voice of words. Those who had experienced these things excused themselves, lest the Word be spoken to them.
20 Bara na iwanya ilatiza uleli uduka ba, “Assa ko finawa ntene nduldo likuppe, iba filisu fi nin natala.
For they could not bear what was said, and so, if even a beast would have touched the mountain, it would have been stoned.
21 Bara imon fiu wari wadi na Musa wa woro “meng fiu wadai ntunna nketuzu.
And what was seen was so terrible that even Moses said: “I am terrified, and so, I tremble.”
22 Nin nani iwa dak litala Nurushalima, nin ndu kagbir Kutelle nlai, Urushalima kitene kani, a nono kadura Kutelle amui likure di nanya nbuki.
But you have drawn near to mount Zion, and to the city of the living God, to the heavenly Jerusalem, and to the company of many thousands of Angels,
23 Ina ni na dak kiti nzuru vat nono npari na tisaa mine di kitene kani, kiti Kutelle unan nwucu kidegen vat, a udu nfip nanit alau alenge na idi dedei.
and to the Church of the first-born, those who have been inscribed in the heavens, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the just made perfect,
24 Inani na dak kiti Yesu ule na adi kiyitik nalikwali apese, nin nzamunu nmii mongo na midi nliruwe katin unmii Habila.
and to Jesus, the Mediator of the New Testament, and to a sprinkling of blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel.
25 Yenjen iwa nari ulenge na adi nliruwe, bara asa na isorto ba kubi na inari ulenge na idin gbaru munu nanya inye, arike kidegen na tiba sortu ba tiwa kpilin nin kidung kiti nlenge na adi kitene kani.
Be careful not to reject the One who is speaking. For if those who rejected him who was speaking upon the earth were not able to escape, so much more we who might turn away from the One who is speaking to us from heaven.
26 Nkoni kube liwui mye ba zillinu uye, bara nene ame nasu nari alikawali a woro “udak nene meng ba zillinu na uye cas ba, tutun nin kitene kani”.
Then, his voice moved the earth. But now, he makes a promise, saying: “There is still one more time, and then I will move, not only the earth, but also heaven itself.”
27 Tigbulang tone “tukunna ukpinne ku” ndursu ukalla nimon ile na idin zilluwe, ilenge imone na ina ke ininin, bara ilenge imone na ina zillin inin ba ilawa ku.
And so, in saying, “There is still one more time,” he declares the transfer of the moveable things of creation, so that those things which are immoveable may remain.
28 Bara nani, useru kpin tigo kanga na kiwasa kizillino ba, na arike su ugodiya, nin nanya nani ti tumuzun Kutelle nin nyinnu nin fiu a uni ndia.
Thus, in receiving an immoveable kingdom, we have grace. So, through grace, let us be of service, by pleasing God with fear and reverence.
29 Bara Kutelle bite ulari un kileo.
For our God is a consuming fire.
