< Uafisawa 5 >

1 Nafo nono nayi Kutellẹ.
Become ye, therefore, imitators of God, as children beloved,
2 Cinan nafo ame, cinan nanya nsu nafo na Kristi nati a napka litime imon nkusu na dadu ananzang, imong kugya kuman, udu kiti Kutellẹ.
And walk in love—even as, the Christ also, loved you, and delivered himself up in your behalf, an offering and sacrifice unto God, for a fragrance of sweet smell.
3 Unozu nan nawani nan nalilime, nin dinon a kuna niyizi na iwa se nanya mine ba, nanere cha kiti nanit alau Kutellẹ.
But, fornication, and all impurity, or covetousness, let it not be named among you—even as becometh saints;
4 Sa imon inanzan, uliru tilala, timap liyakiti to nati chaun ba. Nworo minu sun uliru nin liburi libo.
And shamelessness and foolish talking, or jesting, —which things are beneath you, —but, rather, giving of thanks;
For, this, ye know, if ye take note—that no fornicator, or impure or greedy person, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of the Christ and God.
6 Na umon wa rusuzu minu nin tigulang hem ba. Bara ille imonere tinanayyi Kutellẹ ma tolu kitenen nonon salin lanzun liru.
Let no one be deceiving you with empty words; for, because of these things, is coming the anger of God upon the sons of obstinacy:
7 Na iwa suzu ile imon na inung din suze ba.
Do not, then, become co-partners with them;
8 Bara anung wang na di nanya nsirti, nene anung bdin kanaghari nanya in Cikilari. Cinan nafo nonon kanan.
For ye were, at one time, darkness, but, now, are ye light in the Lord, —as children of light, be walking,
9 Bara kumat nkanang ncineari nin lau a kidegen.
For, the fruit of the light, is in all goodness, and righteousness, and truth, —
10 Ussu nimon icine nbun Kutellẹ.
Putting to the test what is well-pleasing unto the Lord;
11 Na iwa munu achara nan ghinu kitin su katah nsirti ba. Nworu nani, puzunon nani kanang.
And be not joining in fellowship in the unfruitful works of darkness, but, rather, be even administering reproof;
12 Nnanzang nimon illenge na idin su nanya sirti na ichaun ubellu ba.
For, of the secret things which are brought to pass by them, it is, shameful, even to speak!
13 Nkanang din puzunu imon vat.
All things, however, when reproved by the light, become manifest, for, all that of itself maketh manifest, is, light;
14 Bara nani ina woro, “unan moro fita, fita nanya nanan kul, Kristi ba punu nkanag me kiti me.”
Wherefore it saith—Up! thou sleeper, and arise from among the dead, and the Christ will shine upon thee.
15 Ndin bellu minu, cinan seng, na nafo alala ba, nafo ajijijn.
Be taking heed, therefore, exactly how ye are walking, —not as unwise, but as wise, —
16 Sung katah nin kube, bara na allenge ayire ananzanghari.
Buying out for yourselves the opportunity, because, the days, are evil;
17 Na iwa so alalan ba. Yinon ille imon na Kutellẹ nin suwẹ.
For this cause, do not become foolish, but have discernment as to what is the will of the Lord;
18 Na iwa son toro ba, bara asa mita unit deu, nworo nani na nfip Kutellẹ so nanya mine.
And be not getting drunk with wine, in which is dissoluteness, but be getting filled in Spirit; —
19 Iliru nin nati nanya nsen nin nalali nfip milau, isuzu avu nin liru nin nibinayi mine udu kitin Cikilari.
Speaking to yourselves, with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs; singing, and striking the strings, with your heart unto the Lord;
20 Isuzu ugodiya ko kome kubi nanya nimon vat, nin lisan Cikilari Yisa Kristi udu uchife Kutellẹ.
Giving thanks, always, for all things, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, unto your God and Father;
21 Inonkuzo atimine nanyan lanzu fiu in Kristi.
Submitting yourselves one to another in reverence of Christ, —
22 Awani toltinon atimine kiti nales mine, nafo kitin Cikilari.
Ye wives, unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord,
23 Bara ules amere liti in wani, nafo Kristi amere liti kutin lira, amrere unan tuchu kidowo.
Because, a husband, is the head of his wife, as, the Christ also, is the head of the assembly, he, being the saviour of the body, —
24 Nafo na Kristiarin udya nanan bi, nanere nalilime ma yitu adidya nawani mine.
Nevertheless, as, the assembly, submitteth herself unto the Christ, so, the wives, unto their husbands, in everything:
25 Anung Ales, tan usu nawani nafo na Kristi na ti usu nanan dortu me, ana litime bara inung.
Ye husbands, be loving your wives, even as, the Christ also, loved the assembly, and delivered, himself, up in her behalf,
26 Bara anan ta nani iso lau. Ana kusu nani nin sulsunu ulau nanya nmyen ligulang.
That, her, he might sanctify, having purified [her] with the bath of water, in declaration,
27 Anan nakpa anan dortu me kitime imon igongong, sa in dinong, sa ikpenu, sa imonimon nafon inin, na ina yita sa ndinon.
That, he, might present, unto himself, the assembly, all glorious, not having spot or wrinkle or any of such things, but that she should be holy and blameless;
28 Nafo na in belle, na ales ti usuu nawani mine nafo atimine. Ullenge na adin suu nwani me litimere adin suwẹ.
So, ought the husbands [also] to be loving their own wives, as their own bodies, —he that loveth his own wife, loveth himself,
29 Na umon sa nari kidowo me ba. Asa agyiza kinin imoli a kye kinin gegeme, nafo na Kristi din su nin nanan dortu me.
No one, in fact, ever yet hated, his own flesh, but nourisheth and cherisheth it, —even as, the Christ, the assembly,
30 Bara arik tigap kidowo mere.
Because, members, are we of his body; —
31 Bara nani unit ba chinu uchiff me nin nameh amunu ninj wane, “inughe nabẹ ma so kidowo kirum.”
For this cause, will a man leave his father and his mother, and will cleave unto his wife, and, they two, shall become, one flesh.
32 Nkang kidegen liyenshin kidyawa kane, ndi bellu ubelle in Kristi ari nan nanan dortu me.
This sacred secret, is, great, —I, however, am speaking as to Christ and [as to] the assembly; —
33 Vat nin nani, kogha mine na ati usuu in wani me nafo litime, uwani tutung tolting litime nbun less me.
Nevertheless, ye also, do ye, individually, each man be so loving, his own wife, as himself, and, the wife, [see] that she reverence her husband.
