2 Timotawus 2
1 Fe bara nani gono ning, se likara nanyan bolu Kutelle ulenge na udi nanyan Kristi Yesu.
Thou, therefore, my child, be empowering thyself in the favour that is in Christ Jesus,
2 Nin nimon ilenge na uwa lanza kiti ning nanya niyizi iba gbardang, na inin nanya nacara nanit acine alenge na ima yinnu udursuze wang.
And, the things which thou hast heard from me among many witnesses, the same, entrust thou unto faithful men, such as shall be, competent, to teach, others also.
3 Pira inniu nin mi nafo kusojan Kristi Yesu kucine.
Take thy part in suffering hardship, as a brave soldier of Christ Jesus: —
4 Na kusoja duku ko nakudi katwa akuyita nanya lanzun mang yii ulele, bara anan na una ubun me nmang.
No one that is serving as a soldier, entangleth himself with the matters of his livelihood, that he may please him that hath summoned him to serve as a soldier;
5 Tutung, andi umon cum nafo anan cum sesun nduk, na asa inaghe uduke ba se adofino tiduka ncume.
If, moreover, any man, contend even in the games, he is not crowned, unless, lawfully, he contend;
6 Uso gbas ame unan katwa kune na adin su kang seru uduk nimon kunene nin cizunu.
The toiling husbandman, ought, first, of the fruits, to partake:
7 Kpiliza kitene nimon ile na ndin bellu, bara Kutelle manifi uyinnun vat nimon.
Think, as to what I am speaking; for the Lord will give thee discernment in all things.
8 Lizinon Yesu Kristi ku, Ucizunun fimus in Dauda, urika na iwa fyghe nanyan kul. Ulele di cot nin liru ulau nighari,
Keep in mind Jesus Christ—raised from among the dead, of the seed of David, —according to my joyful message:
9 Urika na ndin niu udun terii nafo unan molsu nanit. Ama na ina teru uliru Kutelle ba.
In which I am suffering hardship, even unto bonds, as an evil-doer; but, the word of God, is not bound.
10 Bara nani ndin teru nayi nanya nimon vat bara alenge na ina fere, inung wang nan se utucu ulenge na udin Kristi Yesu, nin gongon sa ligan. (aiōnios g166)
For this cause, am I enduring, all things, for the sake of the chosen, in order that, they also, may obtain, the salvation, which is in Christ Jesus along with glory age-abiding. (aiōnios g166)
11 Ulengee ubelle un yinnuari: “Andi ti kuu ninghe, tima kuru titi ulai ninghe.
Faithful, the saying—for, If we have died together, we shall also live together,
12 Andi ti tere nibinayi, tima kuru tisu tigo ninghe. Andi tinarighe, ame wang manari nari.
If we endure, we shall also reign together; If we shall deny, he also, will deny us,
13 Asa ti di nin diru kidegen ame wang baso sa kidegen, bara na awasa anari litime ba.”
If we are faithless, he, faithful, abideth, —for, deny himself, he cannot!
14 Leu ubun lizunu nani nin nimong ilele. Wunno nani atuf nbun Kutelle na iwa su kabun kitene tigbula ba. Bara ilenge imone na imon duku icine ba. Bara ilenge imone ukul duku nalenge na idin lanzu.
Of these things, be putting [them] in remembrance, adjuring [them] before God not to be waging word-battles, —useful, for nothing, occasioning a subversion of them that hearken.
15 Fo kidowo udak nin litife ubun Kutelle imon seru nafo unit katwa sa ncin. Mino tigbulang kidegene gegeme.
Give diligence, thyself, approved, to present unto God, —a workman not to be put to shame, skillfully handling the word of truth.
16 Suna uliru bidibidi, na udin du nin diru Kutelle.
But, the profane pratings, shun; for, unto more ungodliness, will they force themselves on;
17 Uliru mine din malu kiti nafo ukul tijii kidowo. Nanya mine Himenes nin Piletus duku.
And, their discourse, as a gangrene, will eat its way; —of whom are Hymenaeus and Philetus,
18 Alele anitari na wuro kidegene. Idin ufitu nanan kulen mal katu. Ina kpilya uyinnu sa uyenu namong.
Men who, concerning the truth, have erred, affirming, a resurrection, already, to have taken place, and are overthrowing the faith, of some.
19 Vat nin nani, likara litino Kutelle yissin. Lidi nin nile imone: “Cikilare yiru alenge na idi anme” ni “Vat nlenge na idin yiccughe nin lissa Kutelle ama sunu katwa kanangzang gbas.”
Howbeit, the firm foundation of God, standeth, having this seal—The Lord hath acknowledged them who are his, and, Let every one that nameth the name of the Lord stand aloof from unrighteousness.
20 Kilari nikurfu, na niti cinsu tizinariya nin azurfari duku cas ba. Kitin cisu nakatu duku nin tiwin. Nanya nalele in katwa kalau duku, a in katwa kanangzang ku.
But, in a great house, there are not only gold and silver vessels, but, also wooden and earthen: and, some, indeed, for honour, while, some, are for dishonour:
21 Asa umong wese litime unuzu katwa kanangzang, ame kitin cisu nimon icinari. Ina kalaghe iceu ugan, ama yitu imon katwan Cikilari, inin kyeleghe bara kokame katwa kacine.
If, therefore, anyone will, for pureness, sever himself from these, he shall be a vessel for honour, hallowed, meet for the Master’s use, for every good work, prepared.
22 Cong inuzu nanya kunaniyizi nfitu. Dorton katwa kacine nin cum, uyinnu sa uyenu, usuu, a lissosin limang nin nalenge na idin yiccu Cikilare ku nanya nibinayi nilau.
But, from the youthful covetings, flee! and pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace, along with them who call upon the Lord out of a pure heart.
23 Ama narin utirinu tilalan nin dirun nonku liti. Uyiru nwo asa uda nin mayardang.
But, from the foolish and undisciplined questionings, excuse thyself, knowing that they gender strifes;
24 Na kucin Kutelle nwasu kabun ba. Ama na yitu sheuwari kitin kogha, awasa adursuzo anin yita seng.
And, a servant of the Lord, ought not to strive, but to be, gentle, towards all, apt in teaching, ready to endure malice, —
25 Amasu nin nonku liti udursuzu nalenge na inari uliru me. Nbata Kutelle nani ukpilu nanya yinnun liru kidegen.
In meekness, bringing under discipline them that oppose themselves, lest at any time God should give them repentance unto a personal knowledge of truth,
26 Iwasa iyita nin kpilu tutun inin suna libardang shintan, kimal nkifu mine na awa kifo bari katwa me.
And they should wake up to sobriety out of, the adversary’s, snare, —though they have been taken alive by him for, that one’s, will.
