< 1 Timothawus 4 >

1 Nene nfip Kutellẹ na bellin fwang, unaworo udu ubun amon anit ba sunu uyinnu sa uyenu, ini nibinai mine kiti nfip kirusuzo, nin madursu dursuzo nagbergenu,
Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will fall away from the faith and occupy themselves with deceitful spirits and the teachings of demons,
2 Libau kinu nin karusuzo isaka ukpilizu mine.
being influenced by the hypocrisy of liars who are seared in their own consciences.
3 Ima wantinu usu zu nilugma, nin nli nimonli ille na Kutellẹ na ke, ilẹ na udin nizu nin ngodiya, nanya nale na ida iyinin kidene.
They forbid marriage and demand abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.
4 Bara vat nile imon na Kutellẹ nke icineari, tutun na imono duku ulle na iba nari ba asa isere nin godiya.
For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected when it is received with thanksgiving,
5 Idi lau bara na ina kusu inin nin nliru Kutellẹ nin lira.
since it is sanctified through the word of God and prayer.
6 Asa ulizino linauna ile imone, uba so kucin kucine katwan Yisa Kristi, fe ulle na use liyisin nanya nyinnu sa uyenu, nin dofinu ndursuzu ucine na udofino.
If yoʋ point these things out to the brothers, yoʋ will be a good servant of Jesus Christ, nourished by the words of the faith and the sound doctrine that yoʋ have closely followed.
7 Bara nani nari abin nawali nin nizogo Kutellẹ, shono liti unan so unan yiru nanya ndortu Kutellẹ.
Have nothing to do with profane myths and old wives' tales. Rather train yoʋrself for godliness.
8 Ushonu liti caun nin kubi cing, imon vat caun nanya ndortu Kutellẹ, bara na uba ni ulai nyulele nin un cin dak.
For bodily training is beneficial to a certain extent, but godliness is beneficial in every way, since it holds promise for both the present life and the life to come.
9 Uliru ulele ucineari, ubatina nworo vat nanit seru.
This saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance.
10 Unnere nta tidin niu nin nfo kidowo, bara tidin nin likara kibinai kiti Kutellẹ unan lai, ame unan tucu nanite vat massaman alle na iyinna sa uyenu.
For this is why we labor and suffer reproach, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe.
11 Dursuzo nani ilẹ imone, uti nani isu.
Command and teach these things.
12 Na umon nwa yassu fi bara na udin fitu ba, bara nani sọ imon yenju kiti na nan nyinnu sa uyenu nanya nliru, nin nyiru ncin, nin nsu, uyinnu sa uyenu, a kibinai kilau.
Let no one despise yoʋ because yoʋ are young, but set an example for the believers in yoʋr speech, conduct, love, spirit, faith, and purity.
13 Ceo kibinai fe nyenju ninyerte, nin nwunu natuf, a udursuzu nimon udu kubi ko na mba dak.
Until I come, give attention to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, and to teaching.
14 Na uwa fillin uda diu ulle na udumun ba, na iwa bellin udumun, ligowe nin tardu nacara nadidia kutyin nliran.
Do not neglect the gift that is in yoʋ, which was given to yoʋ through prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on yoʋ.
15 Dirtino nsu nile imone, nā litife nan nya ninig, bara anit vat nan yene uli nbunfe.
Attend to these things and immerse yourself in them, so that yoʋr progress may be evident to all.
16 Cinna seng nin litife, nin ndursuzu fe, dirtino nanya nile imone, bara usu nane ba tifi use utucu litife nin nale na idin lanzufi.
Watch yoʋr life and doctrine closely. Persevere in these things, for as yoʋ do this, yoʋ will save both yoʋrself and those who listen to yoʋ.
