< 1 Timothawus 2 >

1 Ncizine vat, nwa ti nworu matiru tiru mine, nliran, ubunun nmong nliran, nin ngodiya isu bara anit vat,
I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men,
2 bara agoh nan nale na idi natet adidya, nin woru tisu lisosin limang, nin nnonku kibinai nin ntoltunu liti nbun Kutellẹ.
for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.
3 Ilele imon icineari, nin nimon seru ubun kiti Kutellẹ unan tucu bite.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,
who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.
5 Tidi nin Kutellẹ kurum, nin nan lisin kitik bit nan Kutellẹ warum, Unite Kristi Yisa.
For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Messiah Yeshua,
who gave himself as a ransom for all, the testimony at the proper time,
7 Bara nanere, meng litinighe, iwa fereyi unan kadura nin nbellu nliru Kutellẹ. Indin belle kidegen: na kinu ba. Meng unan dursuzu nalumai nanya nyinnu sa uyenu nin kidegen.
to which I was appointed a proclaimer and an emissary—I am telling the truth in Messiah, not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
I desire therefore that the men in every place pray, lifting up holy hands without anger and doubting.
In the same way, that women also adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and propriety, not with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing,
10 Na ise nani nin katuwa kacine, (ille imon na icaunari ine kiti nawani anan dortu Kutellẹ).
but with good works, which is appropriate for women professing godliness.
11 Na uwani piziru uyinu kusari kurum nin toltunu liti.
Let a woman learn in quietness with full submission.
But I don’t permit a woman to teach, nor to exercise authority over a man, but to be in quietness.
13 Bara iwa burun uken Adamu ari, inin dofino nin Hawawu.
For Adam was formed first, then Havah.
14 Na Adamu ari iwa rusuzu ghe ba, uwanere iwa rusuzu ghe nanya kulapi.
Adam wasn’t deceived, but the woman, being deceived, has fallen into disobedience;
15 Nin nani, abase utucu barra umacu nnono, iwa li ubun nanya nyinnu sa uyenu nin su a ucin ulau nin nonku kibinai.
but she will be saved through her childbearing, if they continue in faith, love, and holiness with sobriety.
