Romakëve 6
1 Çfarë të themi, pra? A të mbetemi në mëkat, që të teprojë hiri?
What then will we say? (Shall we continue *N+k+o) in sin that grace may abound?
2 Aspak! Ne që jemi të vdekur për mëkatin, si do të jetojmë akoma në të?
Never would it be! Who we died to sin, how still will we live in it?
3 Po a nuk e dini se ne të gjithë që u pagëzuam në Jezu Krishtin, u pagëzuam në vdekjen e tij?
Or are you unaware that as many as were baptized into Christ Jesus, into the death of Him were baptized?
4 Ne, pra, u varrosëm me të me anë të pagëzimit në vdekje, që, ashtu si Krishti u ringjall prej së vdekurish me anë të lavdisë së Atit, kështu edhe ne gjithashtu të ecim në risinë e jetës.
We were buried therefore with Him through baptism into death, so that just as was raised up Christ out from [the] dead through the glory of the Father, so also we ourselves in newness of life may walk.
5 Sepse, nëse u bashkuam me Krishtin në një vdekje të ngjashme me të tijën, do të jemi edhe e ringjalljes së tij,
If for united we have become in the likeness of the death of Him, certainly also of the resurrection we will be;
6 duke ditur këtë: se njeriu ynë i vjetër u kryqëzua me të, që trupi i mëkatit mund të jetë anuluar dhe që ne të mos i shërbejmë më mëkatit.
this knowing that the old of us self was crucified with [Him], so that may be annulled the body of sin [that] no longer being enslaved we to sin.
7 Në fakt, ai që ka vdekur është shfajësuar nga mëkati.
The [one] for having died he has been freed from sin.
8 Tani nëse vdiqëm me Krishtin, ne besojmë gjithashtu që do të jetojmë me të,
If now we died with Christ, we believe that also we will live with Him,
9 duke ditur se Krishti, që u ringjall prej së vdekurish, nuk vdes më; vdekja s’ka më pushtet mbi të.
knowing that Christ having been raised up out from [the] dead no longer no longer dies; Death over Him no longer no longer rules.
10 Sepse në atë që vdiq, vdiq për mëkatin një herë e për gjithmonë; por në atë që rron, rron për Perëndinë.
That which for He died, to sin He died once for all; that which however He lives, He lives to God.
11 Kështu edhe ju, konsideroheni veten të vdekur për mëkatin, por të gjallë për Perëndinë, në Jezu Krishtin, Zotin tonë.
So also do consider yourselves to be dead indeed to sin living however to God in Christ Jesus (the Lord of us. *K)
12 Le të mos mbretërojë, pra, mëkati në trupin tuaj të vdekshëm, që t’i bindeni atij në epshet e veta.
Not therefore should reign sin in the mortal of you body in order to obey (it in *K) the desires of it,
13 As mos i jepni gjymtyrët tuaja në shërbim të mëkatit si mjete paudhësie, por tregoni veten tuaj te Perëndia, si të gjallë prej së vdekurish, dhe gjymtyrët tuaja si mjete drejtësie për Perëndinë.
Neither do yield the members of you [as] instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but do yield yourselves to God (as *N+kO) out from [the] dead living and the members of you [as] instruments of righteousness to God.
14 Në fakt mëkati nuk do të ketë më pushtet mbi ju, sepse nuk jeni nën ligj, por nën hir.
Sin for you not will rule over; not for you are under law but under grace.
15 Atëherë, çfarë? Të mëkatojmë sepse nuk jemi nën ligj, por nën hir? Kështu mos qoftë!
What then? (Shall we sin *N+kO) because not we are under law but under grace? Never would it be!
16 A nuk e dini ju se nëse e tregoni veten shërbëtorë të atij që i bindeni, jeni shërbëtorë të atij që i bindeni, qoftë mëkatit për vdekje, qoftë dëgjesës për drejtësi?
Not know you that to whom you yield yourselves [as] slaves for obedience, slaves you are to him whom you obey, whether of sin to death or of obedience to righteousness?
17 Por qoftë falenderuar Perëndia, sepse ishit shërbëtorë të mëkatit, por iu bindët me zemër atij mësimi që iu është transmetuar.
Thanks [be] however to God that you were slaves of sin, you have become obedient now from [the] heart to which you were handed over to the form of teaching.
18 Dhe, mbasi u liruat nga mëkati, u bëtë shërbëtorë të drejtësisë.
Having been set free now from sin you have become slaves to righteousness.
19 Unë po flas njerëzisht për shkak të dobësisë së mishit tuaj. Sepse ashtu si një kohë i kishit përkushtuar gjymtyrët tuaja për të qenë shërbëtorë të papastërtisë dhe të paudhësisë për të bërë paudhësinë, kështu tani përkushtoni gjymtyrët tuaj për të qënë shërbëtorë të drejtësisë për shenjtërim.
In human terms I speak on account of the weakness of the flesh of you. For as for you yielded the members of you [as] slaves to impurity and to lawlessness unto lawlessness, so now do yield the members of you [as] slaves to righteousness unto sanctification.
20 Sepse, kur ishit shërbëtorë të mëkatit, ishit të lirë në lidhje me drejtësinë.
When for slaves you were of sin, free you were from righteousness.
21 Dhe çfarë fryt kishit, pra, atëherë, nga ato gjëra, për të cilat tani keni turp? Sepse fundi i tyre është vdekja.
What therefore fruit had you then in the [things] of which now you are ashamed? The for end of those things [is] death.
22 Por tani, pasi u liruat nga mëkati dhe u bëtë shërbëtorë të Perëndisë keni për frytin tuaj shenjtërimin dhe për fund jeta e përjetshme. (aiōnios g166)
Now however having been set free from sin having become slaves now to God you have the fruit of you unto sanctification, now the end [is] life eternal. (aiōnios g166)
