Psalmet 68

1 Perëndia u çoftë dhe u shpërndafshin armiqtë e tij, dhe ata që e urrejnë ikshin para tij.

To the Chief Musician. David’s. A Melody, a Song. Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered, Yea let them that hate him flee before him:

2 Ti do t’i shpërndash ashtu si zhdavaritet tymi, ashtu si shkrihet dylli para zjarrit; kështu do të vdesin të pabesët përpara Perëndisë.

As smoke is driven about, Let them be driven about, —As wax is melted before a fire, Let the lawless perish before God.

3 Por të drejtët do të gëzohen, do të ngazëllohen përpara Perëndisë dhe do të galdojnë me këngë gëzimi.

But let, the righteous, be glad, let them exult before God, Yea let them rejoice with gladness.

4 Këndojini Perëndisë, këndojini lavde emrit të tij; pregatitini rrugën atij që kalon me kalë në shkretëtirë; emri i tij është Zoti; ngazëlloni para tij.

Sing ye to God, Make music of his Name, —Lift up (a song), to him that rideth through the waste plains, —Since Yah is his name, exult ye before him.

5 Perëndia në banesën e tij të shenjtë është babai i jetimëve dhe mbrojtësi i të vejave.

The father of the fatherless, And the advocate of widows, Is God, in his holy habitation.

6 Perëndia bën që i vetmuari të banojë në një familje, çliron të burgosurit dhe siguron begatinë; por rebelët mbeten në tokë të djegur.

God, is he that causeth the solitary to dwell in a home, That bringeth out prisoners into prosperity, But, the rebellious, have made their habitation in a sunburnt land.

7 O Perëndi, kur dole përpara popullit tënd, kur marshove nëpër shkretëtirë. (Sela)

O God! When thou camest forth before thy people, When thou didst stride through the wilderness, (Selah)

8 toka u drodh; edhe qiejtë lëshuan ujë në prani të Perëndisë, vetë Sinai u drodh në prani të Perëndisë, Perëndisë të Izraelit.

Earth, trembled, Yea, the heavens, dripped at the presence of God, —This Sinai—at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

9 Ti ke derdhur një shi të bollshëm, o Perëndi, dhe i ke dhënë përsëri fuqi trashëgimisë sate.

A bounteous rain, dost thou shed abroad, O God, upon thine inheritance, When exhausted, thou thyself, hast supported it:

10 Kopeja jote gjeti një banesë dhe në mirësinë tënde, o Perëndi, je kujdesur për të varfërit.

Thy living host, have remained therein, Thou dost provide, in thy bounty, for the humbled ones—O God!

11 Zoti shpalli fjalën dhe i madh ishte numri i atyre që e kanë shpallur:

Let, My Lord, but give the word, The herald bands, will be a mighty host:

12 “Mbretërit e ushtrive ikin me ngut, ndërsa kush ka mbetur në shtëpi ndan plaçkën.

Kings of armies, they flee! they flee! And, she that stayeth at home, shall share the spoil.

13 Edhe në se keni mbetur për të pushuar ndër vatha, ju jeni si krahët e pëllumbeshës të mbuluara me argjend dhe si pendët e saj të arta që shkëlqejnë”.

Though ye rest between the folds, The wings of the dove, shall be covered with silver, And, her pinions, with green-shimmering gold.

14 Kur i Plotfuqishmi i shpërndau mbretërit në vend, Tsalmoni u mbulua me borë.

When the Almighty scattereth kings therein, It will gleam like snow in the gloom:

15 Një mal i Perëndisë është mali i Bashanit, një mal me shumë maja është mali i Bashanit.

A mighty mountain, is the mountain of Bashan, A mountain of peaks, is the mountain of Bashan!—

16 O male me shumë maja pse shikoni me zili malin që Perëndia ka zgjedhur për banesë të tij? Po, Zoti do të banojë atje përjetë.

Wherefore start ye up, ye mountains, ye peaks? The mountain God hath coveted for his habitation, Surely, Yahweh will inhabit it ever!

17 Qerret e Perëndisë janë një mori, mijëra e mijëra, Zoti është midis tyre ashtu si në Sinai, në shenjtërinë e tij.

The chariots of God, are two myriads—thousands repeated, My Lord, is among them Sinai, is in the sanctuary!

18 Ti je ngjitur lart, ke burgosur robërinë, ke marrë dhurata nga njerëzit edhe nga rebelët, me qëllim që ti, o Zot Perëndi të mund të qëndrosh atje.

Thou hast ascended on high, Thou hast led in procession a body of captives, Thou hast received gifts consisting of men, Yea even the rebellious, That, Yah, Elohim, might settle down to rest.

19 I bekuar qoftë Zoti, që për ditë mbart barrat tona; ai është Perëndia i shpëtimit tonë. (Sela)

Blessed be My Lord! Day by day, he beareth our burden for us, GOD himself, is our salvation. (Selah)

20 Perëndia është për ne Perëndia që çliron, dhe Zotit, Zotit, i përket çlirimi nga vdekja.

The GOD we have, is a GOD of saving deeds, And, due to Yahweh, My Lord, are escapes from death.

21 Po, Perëndia do të shtypë kokën e armiqve të tij, kokën me flokë të gjata të atyre që ecin në mëkat të tij.

Yea, God himself, will smite through the head of his foes, —The hairy crown of him that is marching on in his guilty deeds.

22 Zoti ka thënë: “Do t’i kthej nga Bashani, do t’i kthej nga humnerat e detit,

Said My Lord, From Bashan, will I bring back, —I will bring back from the depths of the sea:

23 me qëllim që ti të dërrmosh armiqtë e tu, duke futur thellë këmbën tënde në gjakun e tyre, dhe gjuha e qenve të tu të ketë pjesën që i takon”.

That thou mayest bathe thy foot in blood, —The tongue of thy dogs, from the foes, hath its portion.

24 Ata kanë parë varganin tënd, o Perëndi, varganin e Perëndisë tim, e Mbretit tim në shenjtërore.

They have seen thy progress O God, The progress of my GOD, my king into the sanctuary:

25 Këngëtarët ecnin përpara, ata që u binin veglave vinin në fund, dhe në mes qëndronin vajzat që u binin dajreve.

In front are the singers, Behind are the harpers, In the midst of damsels playing on timbrels:

26 Bekoni Perëndinë në kuvendet; bekoni Zotin ju që jeni nga gurra e Izraelit.

In the congregations, bless ye God, My Lord, from among the called of Israel:

27 Ja, Beniamini, më i vogli, por udhëheqësi i tyre, princat e Judës me trupat e tyre, princat e Zabulonit, princat e Neftalit.

There, is Benjamin, the Diminutive—ruling them, The princes of Judah—their throng, The princes of Zebulun, The princes of Naphtali.

28 Perëndia yt ka vendosur forcën tënde; forco, o Perëndi, sa ke bërë për ne.

Thy God hath commanded thy strength, —The strength, O God, which thou hast wrought for us.

29 Për shkak të tempullit tënd në Jeruzalem, mbretërit do të të sjellin dhurata.

Because of thy temple above Jerusalem, Unto thee, shall kings bear along a gift—

30 Shaj kafshën e kallamishteve, tufën e demave me viçat e popujve, deri sa të poshtërohen duke sjellë shufra argjendi; shpërndaji popujt që kënaqen duke bërë luftë.

Rebuke thou, The wild beast of the reeds, The herd of mighty oxen among the calves of the peoples—Each one bowing down with bars of silver, —Scatter thou the peoples, who in wars take delight.

31 Nga Egjipti do të sjellin metal që shkëlqen, Etiopia do të nxitojë t’i shtrijë Perëndisë duart e saj.

Ambassadors come out of Egypt, The Ethiopian, eagerly stretcheth out his hands, unto God.

32 O mbretëri të tokës, këndojini Perëndisë; këndojini lavde Zotit, (Sela)

Ye kingdoms of the earth, sing unto God, Praise in song Adonay. (Selah)

33 atij që shkon me kalë mbi qiejtë e qiejve të përjetshme, ai nxjerr zërin e tij, një zë të fuqishëm.

Unto him that rideth upon the most ancient heavens, Lo! he uttereth his voice, a voice of strength.

34 Pranoni fuqinë e Perëndisë, madhështia e tij qëndron mbi Izraelin dhe fuqia e tij është në qiejtë.

Ascribe ye strength unto God, —Over Israel, is his majesty, And his strength, in the skies. To be revered is God, for his sanctuary, —

35 O Perëndi, ti je i tmerrshëm nga shenjtorja jote; Perëndia i Izraelit është ai që i jep forcë dhe fuqi popullit. I bekuar qoftë Perëndia!

As for the GOD of Israel, he, is giving strength and abundant might to the people. Blessed be God!
