Psalmet 60
1 O Perëndi, ti na ke prapsur, na ke shpërndarë, je zemëruar; tani na rivendos.

You, God, have rejected us! You have broken us; you have been angry with us; but now you have to welcome us back!
2 Ti ke bërë që të dridhet toka, e ke çarë; shëro thyerjet e saj, sepse ajo lëkundet.
You have sent earthquakes on our land and split it apart. Now heal the cracks, for the land is still having tremors.
3 Ti e ke ngarkuar popullin tënd me gjëra të rënda; na ke dhënë të pimë verë që të trullos.
You have been very hard on your people; you gave us wine that made us stagger around.
4 Por tani u ke dhënë atyre që të kanë frikë një flamur, që ta ngrenë në favor të së vërtetës. (Sela)
But you have given those who respect you the banner of truth to unfurl and rally around. (Selah)
5 Shpëto me dorën tënde të djathtë dhe përgjigjmu, me qëllim që ata që ti i do të çlirohen.
Rescue those you love! Answer us, and save us by your power!
6 Perëndia ka folur në shenjtërinë e tij: “Unë do të triumfoj, do të ndaj Sikemin dhe do të mas luginën e Sukothit.
God has spoken from his Temple: “Triumphantly I divide up Shechem, and portion out the Valley of Succoth.
7 Imi është Galaadi, imi është Manasi, Efraimi është forca e kokës sime, Juda është ligjëvënësi im;
Both Gilead and Manasseh belong to me. Ephraim is my helmet, and Judah is my scepter.
8 Moabi është legeni në të cilin lahem; mbi Edomin do të hedh sandalin tim; mbi Filistejtë do të ngre britma fitoreje”.
I will treat Moab as my washbasin; I will place my sandal on Edom; I will shout in triumph over Philistia.”
9 Kush do të më çojë në qytetin e fortë? Kush do të më çojë deri në Edom?
Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who will lead me into Edom?
10 A nuk do të jesh pikërisht ti, o Perëndi, që na ke prapsur? Nuk do të dalësh më, o Perëndi, me ushtritë tona?
Have you rejected us, God? Won't you lead our armies?
11 Na ndihmo kundër armikut, sepse është e kotë ndihma e njeriut.
Please give us help against our enemies, for human help is worthless.
12 Me Perëndinë do të kryejmë trimëri, dhe ai do të shkelë armiqtë tanë.
Our strength is in God, and he will crush our enemies.
