Psalmet 135

1 Aleluja. Lëvdoni emrin e Zotit, lëvdojeni, o shërbëtorë të Zotit,

Alleluya. Herie ye the name of the Lord; ye seruauntis of the Lord, herie ye.

2 që rrini në shtëpinë e Zotit, në oborret e shtëpisë së Perëndisë tonë.

Ye that stonden in the hous of the Lord; in the hallis of `the hous of oure God.

3 Lëvdoni Zotin, sepse Zoti është i mirë; i këndoni lavde emrit të tij, sepse ai është i dashur.

Herie ye the Lord, for the Lord is good; singe ye to his name, for it is swete.

4 Sepse Zoti ka zgjedhur për vete Jakobin, dhe Izraelin si thesar të tij të veçantë.

For the Lord chees Jacob to him silf; Israel in to possessioun to him silf.

5 Po, unë pranoj që Zoti është i madh dhe që Zoti ynë është përmbi të gjitha perënditë.

For Y haue knowe, that the Lord is greet; and oure God bifore alle goddis.

6 Zoti bën ç’të dojë në qiell dhe në tokë, në dete dhe në të gjitha humnerat.

The Lord made alle thingis, what euere thingis he wolde, in heuene and in erthe; in the see, and in alle depthis of watris.

7 Ai i larton avujt nga skajet e tokës, prodhon vetëtimat për shiun, e nxjerr erën nga depozitat e tij.

He ledde out cloudis fro the ferthest part of erthe; and made leitis in to reyn. Which bringith forth wyndis fro hise tresours;

8 Ai i goditi të parëlindurit e Egjiptit, si të njerëzve ashtu edhe të kafshëve,

which killide the firste gendrid thingis of Egipt, fro man `til to beeste.

9 dërgoi shenja dhe mrekulli në mes teje, o Egjipt, mbi Faraonin dhe mbi të gjithë shërbëtorët e tij.

He sente out signes and grete wondris, in the myddil of thee, thou Egipt; in to Farao and in to alle hise seruauntis.

10 Ai goditi kombe të mëdha dhe vrau mbretër të fuqishëm:

Which smoot many folkis; and killide stronge kingis.

11 Sionin, mbretin e Amorejve, Ogun, mbretin e Bashanit, dhe tërë mbretëritë e Kanaanit.

Seon, the king of Ammorreis, and Og, the king of Basan; and alle the rewmes of Chanaan.

12 Dhe vendet e tyre ua dhe në trashëgimi, në trashëgimi Izraelit, popullit të tij.

And he yaf the lond of hem eritage; eritage to Israel, his puple.

13 O Zot, emri yt rron përjetë; kujtimi yt, o Zot, brez pas brezi.

Lord, thi name is with outen ende; Lord, thi memorial be in generacioun and in to generacioun.

14 Sepse Zoti do t’i sigurojë drejtësinë popullit të tij dhe do të ketë mëshirë për shërbëtorët e tij.

For the Lord schal deme his puple; and he schal be preied in hise seruauntis.

15 Idhujt e kombeve janë argjendi dhe ari, vepra të dorës së njeriut;

The symulacris of hethene men ben siluer and gold; the werkis of the hondis of men.

16 kanë gojë por nuk flasin, kanë sy por nuk shohin,

Tho han a mouth, and schulen not speke; tho han iyen, and schulen not se.

17 kanë veshë por nuk dëgjojnë; nuk kanë frymë në gojën e tyre.

Tho han eeris, and schulen not here; for `nether spirit is in the mouth of tho.

18 Të ngjashëm me ta janë ata që i bëjnë, kushdo që ka besim tek ata.

Thei that maken tho, be maad lijk tho; and alle that tristen in tho.

19 Shtëpi e Izraelit, bekoje Zotin; shtëpi e Aaronit, bekoje Zotin.

The hous of Israel, blesse ye the Lord; the hous of Aaron, blesse ye the Lord.

20 Shtëpi e Levit, bekoje Zotin; ju që keni frikë nga Zoti, bekojeni Zotin.

The hous of Leuy, blesse ye the Lord; ye that dreden the Lord, `blesse ye the Lord.

21 Nga Sioni u bekoftë Zoti, që banon në Jeruzalem. Aleluja.

Blessid be the Lord of Syon; that dwellith in Jerusalem.
