Psalmet 11

1 Unë gjej strehë te Zoti; si mund t’i thoni shpirtit tim: “Ik në malin tënd, si një zog i vogël”?

I trust that Yahweh will protect [MTY] me. So do not [RHQ] say to me, “You need to escape/flee to the mountains like birds do,

2 Sepse ja, të pabesët nderin harkun e tyre, rregullojnë shigjetat mbi kordhëz, për t’i gjuajtur në errësirë kundër atyre që kanë të drejtë nga zemra.

because wicked people have hidden in the darkness, they have pulled back their bowstrings and aimed their arrows to shoot them at godly/righteous [IDM] people [like you].

3 Kur themelet janë shkatërruar, çfarë mund të bëjë i drejti?

When people are not punished for disobeying the laws, (what can righteous people do?/there is not much that righteous people can do.)” [RHQ]

4 Zoti është në tempullin e tij të shenjtë; Zoti ka fronin e tij në qiejtë; sytë e tij shohin, qepallat e tij vëzhgojnë bijtë e njerëzve,

But Yahweh is sitting on his throne in his sacred temple in heaven, and he [SYN] watches everything that people do.

5 Zoti vë në provë të drejtin, por shpirti i tij urren të pabesin dhe atë që do dhunën.

Yahweh examines what righteous people do and what wicked people do, and he hates those who like to perform violent actions [to injure others].

6 Ai do të bëjë që të bien mbi të pabesët leqe, zjarr, squfur dhe erëra zhuritëse; kjo do të jetë pjesa nga kupa e tyre.

He will send down [from the sky] flaming coals and burning sulfur, and send scorching hot winds to punish wicked people.

7 Sepse Zoti është i drejtë; ai e do drejtësinë; njerëzit e drejtë do të sodisin fytyrën e tij.

Yahweh is righteous and he loves those who act righteously; righteous people are able to come into his presence.
