Numrat 24

1 Kur Balaami u bind se në sytë e Zotit ishte një gjë e mirë të bekoje Izraelin, nuk përdori si herët e tjera magjinë, por ktheu fytyrën nga shkretëtira.

And whanne Balaam siy that it pleside the Lord that he schulde blesse Israel, he yede not as he `hadde go bifore, `that he schulde seke fals dyuynyng `bi chiteryng of briddis, but he dresside his face ayens the desert,

2 Dhe, me sytë e ngritur, Balaami pa Izraelin që kishte fushuar sipas fiseve, dhe Fryma e Perëndisë e mbuloi atë.

and reiside iyen, and siy Israel dwellynge in tentis bi hise lynagis. And whanne the Spirit of God felde on hym, and whanne a parable was takun,

3 Atëherë shqiptoi orakullin e tij dhe tha: “Kështu thotë Balaami, bir i Beorit, kështu thotë njeriu, sytë e të cilit janë hapur,

he seide, Balaam, the sone of Beor, seide, a man whois iye is stoppid seide,

4 kështu thotë ai që dëgjon fjalët e Perëndisë, ai që kundron vizionin e të Plotfuqishmit, ai që rrëzohet, por syçelë:

the herere of Goddis wordis seide, which bihelde the reuelacioun of almyyti God, which fallith doun, and hise iyen ben openyd so, Hou faire ben thi tabernaclis,

5 “Sa të bukura janë çadrat e tua, o Jakob, banesat e tua o Izrael!

Jacob, and thi tentis, Israel!

6 Ato shtrihen si lugina, si kopshte gjatë një lumi, si aloe që Zoti ka mbjellë, si kedra pranë ujërave.

as valeys ful of woodis, and moiste gardyns bisidis floodis, as tabernaclis whiche the Lord hath set, as cedris bisidis watris;

7 Do të derdhë ujë nga kovat e tij, pasardhësit e tij do të banojnë pranë ujërave të shumta, mbreti i tij do të ngrihet më lart se Agagu dhe mbretëria e tij do të lartësohet.

watir schal flowe of his bokat, and his seed schal be in to many watris, `that is, puplis. The kyng of hym schal be takun a wei for Agag, and the rewme of hym schal be doon awai.

8 Perëndia, që e nxori nga Egjipti, është për të si brirët e fuqishëm të buallit. Ai do të gëlltisë kombet armike për të, do të coptojë kockat e tyre dhe do t’i shpojë tej për tej me shigjetat e tij.

God ledde hym out of Egipt, whos strengthe is lijk an vnicorn; thei schulen deuoure hethene men, enemyes `of hym, that is, of Israel; and thei schulen breke the boonus of hem, and schulen perse with arowis.

9 Ai përkulet, mblidhet kruspull si një luan dhe si një luaneshë; kush do të guxojë ta çojë? Qoftë i bekuar ai që të bekon dhe qoftë i mallkuar ai që të mallkon!””.

He restide and slepte as a lyoun, and as a lionesse, whom no man schal dore reise. He that blessith thee, schal be blessid; he that cursith, schal

10 Atëherë zemërimi i Balakut u ndez kundër Balaamit; kështu ai rrahu duart dhe Balaku i tha Balaamit: “Unë të thirra për të mallkuar armiqtë e mi, kurse ti i bekove tri herë me radhë.

11 Tani ik në shtëpinë tënde! Kisha thënë se do të të mbushja me nderime; por ja, Zoti nuk ka lejuar t’i marrësh”.

Turne ayen to thi place; forsothe Y demede to onoure thee greetli, but the Lord priuyde thee fro onour disposid.

12 Balaami iu përgjigj kështu Balakut: “A nuk u kisha folur lajmëtarëve që më kishe dërguar, duke u thënë:

Balaam answeride to Balaach, Whethir Y seide not to thi messangeris, whiche thou sentist to me,

13 “Edhe sikur Balaku të më jepte shtëpinë e tij plot me argjend dhe me ar, nuk mund të shkel urdhrat e Zotit për të bërë të mirë ose të keq me nismën time, por duhet të them atë që Zoti do të thotë”?

Thouy Balaach schal yyue to me his hows ful of siluer and of gold, Y schal not mow passe the word of my Lord God, that Y brynge forth of myn herte ony thing, ethir of good ethir of yuel, but what euer thing the Lord schal seie, Y schal speke this?

14 Dhe ja, tani do të kthehem te populli im; eja, unë do të njoftoj atë që ky popull do t’i bëjë popullit tënd në ditët e fundit”.

Netheles Y schal go to my puple, and Y schal yyue counsel to thee, what thi puple schal do in the laste tyme to this puple.

15 Atëherë ai shqiptoi orakullin e tij dhe tha: “Kështu thotë Balaami, bir i Beorit; kështu thotë njeriu sytë e të cilit janë hapur,

Therfor whanne a parable was takun, he seide eft, Balaam, the sone of Beor seide, a man whos iye is stoppid,

16 kështu thotë ai që dëgjon fjalët e Zotit, që njeh shkencën e të Lartit, që sodit vizionin e të Plotfuqishmit, ai që bie por syçelë:

seide, the herere of Goddis wordis seide, which knowith the doctrine of the hiyeste, and seeth the reuelacioun of almiyti God, which fallith doun and hath opyn iyen,

17 E shoh, por jo tani; e sodis, por jo afër: një yll do të dalë nga Jakobi dhe një skeptër do të ngrihet nga Izraeli, i cili do ta shtypë Moabin fund e krye dhe do të rrëzojë tërë bijtë e Shethit.

Y schal se hym, but not now; Y schal biholde hym, but not nyy; a sterre schal be borun of Jacob, and a yerde schal rise of Israel; and he schal smyte the duykis of Moab, and he schal waste alle the sones of Seth; and Ydumye schal be hys possessioun,

18 Edomi do të bëhet pronë e tij, po ashtu edhe Seiri, armiku i tij, do të bëhet pronë e tij; Izraeli do të kryejë trimërira.

the eritage of Seir schal bifalle to his enemyes; forsothe Israel schal do strongli, of Jacob schal be he that schal be lord,

19 Nga Jakobi do të dalë një sundues që do të shfarosë ata qytetarë që kanë mbijetuar.

and schal leese the relikis of the citee.

20 Pastaj shikoi nga ana e Amalekut dhe shqiptoi orakullin e tij, duke thënë: “Amaleku ishte i pari i kombeve, por fundi i tij do të kulmojë në shkatërrim”.

And whanne he hadde seyn Amalech, he took a parable, and seide, Amalech is the bigynning of hethene men, whos laste thingis schulen be lost.

21 Shikoi edhe nga Kenejtë dhe shqiptoi orakullin e tij, duke thënë: “Banesa jote është e fortë dhe foleja jote është vendosur në shkëmb;

Also `he siy Cyney, and whanne a parable was takun, he seide, Forsothe thi dwellyng place is strong, but if thou schalt sette thi nest in a stoon,

22 megjithatë Keneu do të shkretohet, për deri sa Asiri do të të çojë në robëri”.

and schalt be chosun of the generacioun of Cyn, hou longe schalt thou mow dwelle? forsothe Assur schal take thee.

23 Pastaj shqiptoi orakullin e tij dhe tha: “Medet! Kush do të mbetet gjallë kur Zoti ta ketë kryer këtë?

And whanne a parable was takun, he spak eft, Alas! who schal lyue, whanne the Lord schal make thes thingis?

24 Por anije do të vinë nga Kitimi, do të poshtërojnë Asurin dhe Eberin, dhe ai do të shkatërrohet gjithashtu”.

Thei schulen come in grete schippis fro Ytalie, thei schulen ouercome Assiries, and thei schulen distrie Ebrews, and at the last also thei hem silf schulen perische.

25 Pastaj Balaami u ngrit, u nis dhe u kthye në shtëpinë e tij; edhe Balaku iku në rrugën e tij. e Moabit

And Balaam roos, and turnide ayen in to his place; and Balaach yede ayen bi the weye in which he cam.
