Nehemia 7
1 Kur muret përfunduan dhe unë vura në vend portat, dhe derëtarët, këngëtarët dhe Levitët u caktuan në funksionet e tyre,
Nowe when the wall was builded, and I had set vp the doores, and the porters, and the singers and the Leuites were appointed,
2 komandën e Jeruzalemit ia dhashë Hananit, vëllait tim, dhe Hananiahut, qeveritarit të fortesës, sepse ishte njeri besnik dhe kishte frikë nga Perëndia më tepër se shumë të tjerë.
Then I commanded my brother Hanani and Hananiah the prince of the palace in Ierusalem (for he was doubtlesse a faithfull man, and feared God aboue many)
3 Dhe u thashë atyre: “Portat e Jeruzalemit nuk duhet të hapen deri sa të fillojë të djegë dielli; dhe ndërsa rojet janë akoma në vendroje, portat të mbahen të mbyllura dhe me shufra. Të vendosen roje nga banorët e Jeruzalemit, disa në vendin e tyre mbi muret dhe të tjerë përpara shtëpisë së tyre”.
And I saide vnto them, Let not the gates of Ierusalem be opened, vntill the heate of the sunne: and while they stande by, let them shut the doores, and make them fast: and I appointed wardes of the inhabitants of Ierusalem, euery one in his warde, and euery one ouer against his house.
4 Qyteti ishte i madh dhe i gjerë, por brenda tij kishte pak njerëz dhe nuk ndërtoheshin shtëpi.
Nowe the citie was large and great, but the people were few therein, and the houses were not buylded.
5 Atëherë Perëndia im më vuri në zemër detyrën të mbledh parinë, gjyqtarët dhe popullin, për t’i regjistruar sipas gjenealogjive të tyre. Dhe gjeta regjistrin gjenealogjik të atyre që ishin kthyer nga
And my God put into mine heart, and I gathered the princes, and the rulers, and the people, to count their genealogies: and I found a booke of the genealogie of them, which came vp at the first, and found written therein,
6 Këta janë ata të krahinës që u kthyen nga robëria, ata që Nebukadnetsari, mbret i Babilonisë, kishte internuar dhe që ishin kthyer në Jeruzalem dhe në Judë, secili në qytetin e tij.
These are the sonnes of the prouince that came vp from the captiuitie that was caried away (whome Nebuchadnezzar King of Babel had caryed away) and they returned to Ierusalem and to Iudah, euery one vnto his citie.
7 Këta janë ata që u kthyen me Zorobabelin, Jeshuan, Nehemian, Azarian, Raamiahun, Nahamanin, Mardokeon, Bilshanin, Misperethin, Bigvain, Nehumin dhe Banaahun. Numri i njerëzve të popullit të Izraelit:
They which came with Zerubbabel, Ieshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Biguai, Nehum, Baanah. This is the nomber of the men of the people of Israel.
8 bijtë e Paroshit, dy mijë e njëqind shtatëdhjetë e dy veta.
The sonnes of Parosh, two thousande an hundreth seuentie and two.
9 Bijtë e Shefatiahut, treqind e shtatëdhjetë e dy veta.
The sonnes of Shephatiah, three hundreth seuentie and two.
10 Bijtë e Arahut, gjashtëqind e pesëdhjetë e dy veta.
The sonnes of Arah, sixe hundreth fiftie and two.
11 Bijtë e Pahath-Moabit, bijtë e Jeshuas dhe të Joabit, dy mijë e tetëqind e tetëmbëdhjetë veta.
The sonnes of Pahath Moab of ye sonnes of Ieshua, and Ioab, two thousand, eight hundreth and eighteene.
12 Bijtë e Elamit, një mijë e dyqind e pesëdhjetë e katër veta.
The sonnes of Elam, a thousand, two hundreth fiftie and foure.
13 Bijtë e Zatujit, tetëqind e dyzet e pesë veta.
The sonnes of Zattu, eight hundreth and fiue and fourtie.
14 Bijtë e Zakait, shtatëqind e gjashtëdhjetë veta.
The sonnes of Zacchai, seuen hundreth and three score.
15 Bijtë e Binuit, gjashtëqind e dyzet e tetë veta.
The sonnes of Binnui, sixe hundreth and eight and fourtie.
16 Bijtë e Bebait, gjashtëqind e njëzet e tetë veta.
The sonnes of Bebai, sixe hundreth and eight and twentie.
17 Bijtë e Azgadit, dy mijë e treqind e njëzet e dy veta.
The sonnes of Azgad, two thousand, three hundreth and two and twentie.
18 Bijtë e Adonikamit, gjashtëqind e gjashtëdhjetë e shtatë veta.
The sonnes of Adonikam, sixe hundreth three score and seuen.
19 Bijtë e Bigvait, dy mijë e gjashtëdhjetë e shtatë veta.
The sonnes of Biguai, two thousand three score and seuen.
20 Bijtë e Adinit, gjashtëqind e pesëdhjetë e pesë veta.
The sonnes of Adin, sixe hundreth, and fiue and fiftie.
21 Bijtë e Aterit, nga familja e Ezekias, nëntëdhjetë e tetë veta.
The sonnes of Ater of Hizkiah, ninetie and eight.
22 Bijtë e Hashumit, treqind e njëzet e tetë veta.
The sonnes of Hashum, three hundreth and eight and twentie.
23 Bijtë e Bezait, treqind e njëzet e katër veta.
The sonnes of Bezai, three hundreth and foure and twentie.
24 Bijtë e Harifit, njëqind e dymbëdhjetë veta.
The sonnes of Hariph, an hundreth and twelue.
25 Bijtë e Gabaonit, nëntëdhjetë e pesë veta.
The sonnes of Gibeon, ninetie and fiue.
26 Burrat e Betlemit dhe të Netofahut, njëqind e tetëdhjetë e tetë veta.
The men of Beth-lehem and Netophah, an hundreth foure score and eight.
27 Burrat e Anathothit, njëqind e njëzet e tetë veta.
The men of Anathoth, an hundreth and eight and twentie.
28 Burrat e Beth-Azmavethit, dyzet e dy veta.
The me of Beth-azmaueth, two and fourty.
29 Burrat e Kirjath-Jearimit, të Kefirahut dhe të Beerothit, shtatëqind e dyzet e tre veta.
The men of Kiriath-iearim, Chephirah and Beeroth, seuen hundreth, and three and fourtie.
30 Burrat e Ramahut dhe të Gebës, gjashtëqind e njëzet e një veta.
The men of Ramah and Gaba, sixe hundreth and one and twentie.
31 Burrat e Mikmasit, njëqind e njëzet e dy veta.
The men of Michmas, an hundreth and two and twentie.
32 Burrat e Bethelit dhe të Ait, njëqind e njëzet e tre veta.
The men of Beth-el and Ai, an hundreth and three and twentie.
33 Burrat e një Nebos tjetër, pesëdhjetë e dy veta.
The men of the other Nebo, two and fifty.
34 Bijtë e një Elami tjetër, një mijë e dyqind e pesëdhjetë e katër veta.
The sonnes of the other Elam, a thousand, two hundreth and foure and fiftie.
35 Bijtë e Harimit, treqind e njëzet veta.
The sonnes of Harim, three hundreth and twentie.
36 Bijtë e Jerikos, treqind e dyzet e pesë veta.
The sonnes of Iericho, three hundreth and fiue and fourtie.
37 Bijtë e Lodit, të Hadidit dhe të Onos, shtatëqind e njëzet e një veta.
The sonnes of Lod-hadid and Ono, seuen hundreth and one and twentie.
38 Bijtë e Senaahut, tre mijë e nëntëqind e tridhjetë veta.
The sonnes of Senaah, three thousand, nine hundreth and thirtie.
39 Priftërinjtë: bijtë e Jedajahut, nga shtëpia e Jeshuas, nëntëqind e gjashtëdhjetë e tre veta.
The Priestes: the sonnes of Iedaiah of the house of Ieshua, nine hundreth seuentie and three.
40 Bijtë e Imerit, një mijë e pesëdhjetë e dy veta.
The sonnes of Immer, a thousand and two and fiftie.
41 Bijtë e Pashurit, një mijë e dyqind e dyzet e shtatë veta.
The sonnes of Pashur, a thousande, two hundreth and seuen and fourtie.
42 Bijtë e Harimit, një mijë e shtatëmbëdhjetë veta.

43 Levitët: bijtë e Jeshuas, nga familja e Kadmielit, bijtë e Hodevahut, shtatëdhjetë e katër veta.
The Leuites: the sonnes of Ieshua of Kadmiel, and of the sonnes of Hodiuah, seuentie and foure.
44 Këngëtarët: bijtë e Asafit, njëqind e dyzet e tetë veta.
The singers: the children of Asaph, an hundreth, and eight and fourtie.
45 Derëtarët: bijtë e Shalumit, bijtë e Aterit, bijtë e Talmonit, bijtë e Akubit, bijtë e Hatitas, bijtë e Shobait, njëqind e tridhjetë e tetë veta.
The porters: the sonnes of Shallum, the sonnes of Ater, the sonnes of Talmon, the sonnes of Akkub, the sonnes of Hatita, the sonnes of Shobai, an hundreth and eight and thirtie.
46 Nethinejtë: bijtë e Tsihas, bijtë e Hasufas, bijtë e Taboathit,
The Nethinims: the sonnes of Ziha, the sonnes of Hashupha, the sonnes of Tabaoth,
47 bijtë e Keros, bijtë e Sias, bijtë e Padonit,
The sonnes of Keros, the sonnes of Sia, the sonnes of Padon,
48 bijtë e Lebanas, bijtë e Hagabas, bijtë e Salmait,
The sonnes of Lebana, the sonnes of Hagaba, the sonnes of Shalmai,
49 bijtë e Hananit, bijtë e Gidelit, bijtë e Gaharit,
The sonnes of Hanan, the sonnes of Giddel, the sonnes of Gahar,
50 bijtë e Reajahut, bijtë e Retsinit, bijtë e Nekodës,
The sonnes of Reaiah, the sonnes of Rezin, the sonnes of Nekoda,
51 bijtë e Gazamit, bijtë e Uzas, bijtë e Paseahut,
The sonnes of Gazzam, ye sonnes of Vzza, the sonnes of Paseah,
52 bijtë e Besait, bijtë e Meunimit, bijtë e Nefishesimit,
The sonnes of Besai, the sonnes of Meunim, the sonnes of Nephishesim,
53 bijtë e Bakbukut, bijtë e Hakufas, bijtë e Harhurit,
The sonnes of Bakbuk, the sonnes of Hakupha, the sonnes of Harhur,
54 bijtë e Bazlithit, bijtë e Mehidas, bijtë e Harshas,
The sonnes of Bazlith, the sonnes of Mehida, the sonnes of Harsha,
55 bijtë e Barkos, bijtë e Siseras, bijtë e Tamahut,
The sonnes of Barkos, the sonnes of Sissera, the sonnes of Tamah,
56 bijtë e Netsiahut, bijtë e Hatifas.
The sonnes of Neziah, the sonnes of Hatipha,
57 Bijtë e shërbëtorëve të Salomonit: bijtë e Sotait, bijtë e Soferethit, bijtë e Peridas,
The sonnes of Salomons seruantes, the sonnes of Sotai, the sonnes of Sophereth, ye sonnes of Perida,
58 bijtë e Jaalas, bijtë e Darkonit, bijtë e Gidelit,
The sonnes of Iaala, the sonnes of Darkon, the sonnes of Giddel,
59 bijtë e Shefatiahut, bijtë e Hatilit, bijtë e Pokerethit nga Tsebaimi, bijtë e Amonit.
The sonnes of Shephatiah, the sonnes of Hattil, the sonnes of Pochereth of Zebaim, the sonnes of Amon.
60 Shuma e Nethinejve dhe bijve të shërbëtorëve të Salomonit, treqind e nëntëdhjetë e dy veta.
All the Nethinims, and the sonnes of Salomons seruantes were three hundreth, ninetie and two.
61 Këta janë ata që u kthyen nga Tel-Melahu, nga Tel-Harsha, nga Kerubi, nga Adoni dhe nga Imeri, dhe që nuk qenë në gjendje të përcaktonin shtëpinë e tyre atërore ose pasardhjen e tyre, për të vërtetuar që i përkisnin Izraelit;
And these came vp from Tel-melah, Tel-haresha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer: but they could not shewe their fathers house, nor their seede, or if they were of Israel.
62 bijtë e Delajahut, bijtë e Tobiahut, bijtë e Nekodas, gjashtëqind e dyzet e dy veta.
The sonnes of Delaiah: the sonnes of Tobiah, the sonnes of Nekoda, six hundreth and two and fourtie.
63 Midis priftërinjve: bijtë e Habajahut, bijtë e Kotsit, bijtë e Barzilait; i cili ishte martuar me një nga bijat e Barzijlait, Galaaditit, dhe mori emrin e tyre.
And of the Priestes: the sonnes of Habaiah, the sonnes of Hakkoz, the sonnes of Barzillai, which tooke one of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite to wife, and was named after their name.
64 Këta kërkuan listat e tyre midis atyre që ishin regjistruar në gjenealogjitë, por nuk i gjetën; prandaj u përjashtuan nga priftëria si të papastër;
These sought their writing of the genealogies, but it was not founde: therefore they were put from the Priesthood.
65 qeveritari i urdhëroi që të mos hanin gjëra shumë të shenjta deri sa të paraqitej një prift me Urimin dhe me Thumimin.
And the Tirshatha sayd vnto them, that they should not eate of the most holy, till there rose vp a Priest with Vrim and Thummim.
66 E tërë asambleja kishte gjithsej dyzet e dy mijë e treqind e gjashtëdhjetë veta,
All the Congregation together was two and fourtie thousand, three hundreth and threescore,
67 përveç shërbëtorëve të tyre dhe shërbëtoreve të tyre, që ishin shtatë mijë e treqind e tridhjetë e shtatë veta. Kishin gjithashtu dyqind e dyzet e pesë këngëtarë dhe këngëtare.
Besides their seruantes and their maydes, which were seuen thousand, three hundreth and seuen and thirtie: and they had two hundreth and fiue and fourtie singing men and singing women.
68 Kishin shtatëqind e tridhjetë e gjashtë kuaj, dyqind e dyzet e pesë mushka,
Their horses were seuen hundreth and sixe and thirtie, and their mules two hundreth and fiue and fourtie.
69 katërqind e tridhjetë e pesë deve dhe gjashtë mijë e shtatëqind e njëzet gomarë.
The camels foure hundreth and fiue and thirtie, and sixe thousande, seuen hundreth and twentie asses.
70 Disa të parë të shtëpive atërore bënë dhurata për punën e ndërtimit. Qeveritari i dha thesarit një mijë darikë ari, pesëdhjetë kupa, pesëqind e tridhjetë rroba priftërinjsh.
And certaine of the chiefe fathers gaue vnto the worke. The Tirshatha gaue to the treasure, a thousand drammes of golde, fiftie basins, fiue hundreth and thirtie Priests garments.
71 Disa të parë të shtëpive atërore i dhanë thesarit për punën e ndërtimit njëzet mijë darikë ari dhe dy mijë mina argjendi.
And some of the chiefe fathers gaue vnto the treasure of the worke, twentie thousand drams of golde, and two thousande and two hundreth pieces of siluer.
72 Pjesa tjetër e popullit dha njëzet mijë darikë ari, dy mijë mina argjendi dhe gjashtëdhjetë e shtatë rroba priftërinjsh.
And the rest of the people gaue twentie thousand drammes of golde, and two thousande pieces of siluer, and three score and seuen Priestes garments.
73 Kështu priftërinjtë, Levitët, derëtarët, këngëtarët, disa nga populli, Nethinejtë dhe tërë Izraelitët u vendosën në qytetet e tyre. Kur arriti muaji i shtatë, bijtë e Izraelit ishin në qytetet e tyre.
And the Priestes, and Leuites, and the porters and the singers and the rest of the people and the Nethinims, and all Israel dwelt in their cities: and when the seuenth moneth came, the children of Israel were in their cities.
