Nahumi 3
1 Mjerë qyteti gjakatar, që është plot me hile dhe me dhunë dhe që nuk po heq dorë nga grabitjet!
Woe to! [the] city of blood all of it lying plunder [is] full not it will depart prey.
2 Kërcet kamxhiku, zhurmë shurdhuese rrotash, kuajsh që vrapojnë dhe qerresh që hovin,
[the] sound of A whip and [the] sound of [the] rattling of a wheel and a horse galloping and a chariot jolting.
3 kalorës në sulm shpata flakëruese, ushta që shndritin, një shumicë e madhe të vrarësh, të vdekur të shumtë, kufoma pa fund; pengohesh te kufomat.
A horseman bringing up and [the] blade of a sword and [the] flash of a spear and [the] multitude of [the] slain and [the] weight of corpse[s] and there not [is] an end to the bodi[es] (and people will stumble *QK) over bodi[es] their.
4 Të gjitha këto për shkak të kurvërimeve të shumta të prostitutes joshëse, mjeshtre në artet magjike që i shiste kombet me kurvërimet e saj dhe popujt me artet e saj magjike.

6 Do të të hedh përsipër ndyrësi, do të të bëj të neveritshme dhe do të të nxjerr te shtylla e turpit.
And I will throw on you detestable things and I will treat with contempt you and I will make you like a spectacle.
7 Do të ndodhë që të gjithë ata që do të të shikojnë do të largohen prej teje dhe do të thonë: “Ninive është shkretuar! Kujt do t’i vijë keq për të?”. Ku t’i kërkoj ngushëllonjësit e saj?”.
And it will be all [those who] see you he will flee from you and he will say it is devastated Nineveh who? will he show sympathy to it from where? will I seek comforters for you.
8 A je më e bukur se No-Amoni, që ndodhet midis kanaleve të Nilit, i rrethuar nga ujërat dhe që e kishte detin si ledh dhe detin si mur?

11 Ti gjithashtu do të jesh e dehur dhe do të fshihesh; ti gjithashtu do të kërkosh një vend të fortifikuar përpara armikut.

12 Tërë fortesat e tua do të jenë si druri i fikut me fiq të parë; po t’i shkundësh, bien në gojë të atij që i ha.
All fortifications your [are] fig trees with first-fruits if they will be shaken and they will fall on [the] mouth of an eater.
13 Ja, trupat e tua në mes teje janë si gra; portat e vendit tënd janë të hapura përpara armiqve të tu; zjarri ka gllabëruar hekurat e portave të tua.
There! people your [are] women in midst your to enemies your certainly they will be opened [the] gates of land your it will consume fire bars your.
14 Mblidh për vete ujin e nevojshëm për rrethimin, përforco fortifikimet e tua, ngjeshe argjilën, punoje llaçin, ndreqe furrën për tulla.
Water of siege draw for yourself strengthen fortifications your go in the clay and trample on the mortar take hold of a brick mold.
15 Atje zjarri do të të gllabërojë, shpata do të të shkatërrojë, do të të hajë si një larvë karkaleci; shumohu si larvat e karkalecave, shumohu si karkalecat.
There it will consume you fire it will cut off you [the] sword it will consume you like the locust make yourself numerous like the locust make yourself numerous like the locust.
16 I ke shumuar tregjet e tua më tepër se yjet e qiellit; larvat e karkalecave zhveshin çdo gjë dhe pastaj fluturojnë tutje.
You have increased traders your more than [the] stars of the heavens a locust it strips off and it flew away.
17 Princat e tu janë si karkalecat, oficerët e tu si mizëri karkalecash që ndalen midis gjerdheve në ditët e ftohta; po, kur del dielli, fluturojnë tutje, por nuk dihet se ku kanë shkuar.
Courtiers your [are] like the locust and officials your [are] like a locust of locusts which encamp in the walls on a day of coldness [the] sun it rises and it flees and not it is known place its where [are]? they.
18 O mbret i Asirisë, barinjtë e tu po flenë, fisnikët e tu pushojnë; populli yt u shpërnda ndër male dhe kurrkush nuk po i mbledh.
They are slumbering shepherds your O king of Assyria they settle down nobles your they are scattered people your on the mountains and there not [is one who] gathers [them].
19 Nuk ka ilaç për plagën tënde, plaga jote është vdekjeprurëse; të gjithë ata që do të dëgjojnë të flitet për ty, do të përplasin duart për fatin tënd. Sepse mbi kë nuk është ushtruar vazhdimisht ligësia jote?
There not [is] relief for fracture your [is] severe wound your all - [those who] hear report your they strike a palm on you for over whom? not has it passed evil your continually.
