Luka 17
1 Atëherë Jezusi u tha dishepujve të vet: “Éshtë e pamundur që të mos ndodhin skandale; por mjerë ai për faj të të cilit vijnë!
Then said he to his disciples, It can not be auoided, but that offences will come, but wo be to him by whome they come.
2 Për të do të ishte më mirë t’i varnin në qafë një gur mulliri dhe ta hidhnin në det, se sa të skandalizojë një të vetëm nga këta të vegjël.
It is better for him that a great milstone were hanged about his necke, and that he were cast into ye sea, then that he should offende one of these litle ones.
3 Kini kujdes veten tuaj! Në se yt vëlla mëkaton kundër teje, qortoje; dhe në se pendohet, fale.
Take heede to your selues: if thy brother trespasse against thee, rebuke him: and if hee repent, forgiue him.
4 Edhe sikur të mëkatonte shtatë herë në ditë kundër teje, dhe shtatë herë në ditë do të kthehet te ti duke thënë: “Pendohem”, fale”.
And though he sinne against thee seuen times in a day, and seuen times in a day turne againe to thee, saying, It repenteth mee, thou shalt forgiue him.
5 Atëherë apostujt i thanë Zotit: “Na e shto besimin”.
And the Apostles saide vnto the Lord, Increase our faith.
6 Dhe Zoti tha: “Po të kishit besim sa një kokërr sinapi, do të mund t’i thonit këtij mani: “Shkulu me gjithë rrënjë dhe mbillu në det”, dhe ai do t’ju bindej.
And the Lord said, If ye had faith, as much as is a graine of mustard seede, and should say vnto this mulberie tree, Plucke thy selfe vp by the rootes, and plant thy selfe in the sea, it should euen obey you.
7 Tani cili nga ju, po të ketë një shërbëtor që i lëron tokën ose i kullot kopenë, do t’i thotë kur ai kthehet nga fusha në shtëpi: “Eja menjëherë në tryezë”?
Who is it also of you, that hauing a seruant plowing or feeding cattell, woulde say vnto him by and by, when hee were come from the fielde, Goe, and sit downe at table?
8 A nuk do t’i thotë përkundrazi: “Ma bëj gati darkën, përvishu e më shërbe që unë të ha e të pi e pastaj të hash dhe të pish edhe ti”?
And woulde not rather say to him, Dresse wherewith I may suppe, and girde thy selfe, and serue mee, till I haue eaten and drunken, and afterward eate thou, and drinke thou?
9 Do ta falënderojë ndoshta atë shërbëtor sepse i zbatoi ato që i ishin urdhëruar? Mendoj se jo.
Doeth he thanke that seruant, because hee did that which was commanded vnto him? I trowe not.
10 Kështu edhe ju, kur të keni bërë të gjitha ato që ju urdhërohen, thoni: “Jemi shërbëtorë të padobishëm. Bëmë atë që kishim detyrë të bënim””.
So likewise yee, when yee haue done all those things, which are commanded you, say, We are vnprofitable seruants: wee haue done that which was our duetie to doe.
11 Dhe ndodhi që duke udhëtuar për në Jeruzalem, ai kaloi nëpër Samari dhe Galile.
And so it was when he went to Hierusalem, that he passed through the middes of Samaria, and Galile.
12 Dhe, kur po hynte në një fshat, i dolën para dhjetë lebrozë, të cilët ndaluan larg,
And as hee entred into a certaine towne, there met him tenne men that were lepers, which stoode a farre off.
13 dhe duke ngritur zërin, thanë: “Mjeshtër, Jezus, ki mëshirë për ne”.
And they lift vp their voyces and saide, Iesus, Master, haue mercie on vs.
14 Dhe ai, si i pa, u tha atyre: “Shkoni e paraqituni te priftërinjtë”. Dhe ndodhi që, ndërsa ata po shkonin, u pastruan.
And when he saw them, he said vnto them, Goe, shewe your selues vnto the Priestes. And it came to passe, that as they went, they were clensed.
15 Dhe një nga ata, si e pa se u shërua, u kthye mbrapa dhe përlëvdonte Perëndinë me zë të lartë.
Then one of them, when hee sawe that hee, was healed, turned backe, and with a loude voyce praised God,
16 Dhe ra përmbys me fytyrë përtokë te këmbët e Jezusit, duke e falënderuar. Ky ishte Samaritan.
And fell downe on his face at his feete, and gaue him thankes: and he was a Samaritan.
17 Jezusi atëherë filloi të thotë: “A nuk u shëruan që të dhjetë? Ku janë nëntë të tjerët?
And Iesus answered, and said, Are there not tenne clensed? but where are the nine?
18 A nuk gjet asnjë që të kthehet për të dhënë lavdi Perëndisë, përveç këtij të huaji?”.
There is none founde that returned to giue God praise, saue this stranger.
19 Dhe i tha atij: “Çohu dhe shko; besimi yt të shëroi”.
And he saide vnto him, Arise, goe thy way, thy faith hath saued thee.
20 Tani kur u pyet nga farisenjtë se kur do të vinte mbretëria e Perëndisë, ai u përgjigj atyre dhe tha: “Mbretëria e Perëndisë nuk vjen në mënyrë të dukshme;
And when hee was demaunded of the Pharises, when the kingdome of God shoulde come, he answered them, and said, The kingdome of God commeth not with obseruation.
21 dhe as nuk do të mund të thuhet: “Ja, këtu”, ose: “Ja, atje”; sepse ja, mbretëria e Perëndisë është përbrenda jush”.
Neither shall men say, Loe here, or lo there: for behold, the kingdome of God is within you.
22 Pastaj u tha dishepujve të vet: “Do të vijnë ditë kur ju do të dëshironi të shihni një nga ditët e Birit të njeriut, por nuk do ta shihni.
And he saide vnto the disciples, The dayes will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the dayes of the Sonne of man, and ye shall not see it.
23 Dhe do t’ju thonë: “Ja, është këtu” ose: “Ja, është atje”, por ju mos shkoni dhe mos i ndiqni.
Then they shall say to you, Behold here, or beholde there: but goe not thither, neither follow them.
24 Sepse ashtu si rrufeja, që vetëtin nga njëri skaj i qiellit te tjetri e ndriçon, kështu do të jetë edhe Biri i njeriut në ditën e tij.
For as the lightening that lighteneth out of the one part vnder heauen, shineth vnto the other part vnder heauen, so shall the Sonne of man be in his day.
25 Por më parë i duhet të vuajë shumë dhe të hidhet poshtë nga ky brez.
But first must he suffer many things, and be reprooued of this generation.
26 Dhe, ashtu siç ndodhi në kohën e Noes, ashtu do të ndodhë edhe në ditët e Birit të njeriut.
And as it was in the dayes of Noe, so shall it be in the dayes of the Sonne of man.
27 Njerëzit hanin, pinin, martonin dhe martoheshin, deri ditën kur Noeu hyri në arkë; dhe erdhi përmbytja dhe i zhduku të gjithë.
They ate, they dranke, they married wiues, and gaue in marriage vnto the day that Noe went into the Arke: and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28 Po kështu ndodhi në kohën e Lotit: njerëzit hanin, pinin, blinin, shitnin, mbillnin dhe ndërtonin;
Likewise also, as it was in the dayes of Lot: they ate, they dranke, they bought, they solde, they planted, they built.
29 por ditën kur Loti doli nga Sodoma, ra shi zjarri e squfuri nga qielli dhe i zhduku të gjithë.
But in the day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heauen, and destroyed them all.
30 Kështu do të jetë edhe atë ditë kur Biri i njeriut do të shfaqet.
After these ensamples shall it be in the day when the Sonne of man is reueiled.
31 Në atë ditë, ai që ndodhet mbi çatinë e shtëpisë të mos zbresë në shtëpi për të marrë gjërat e tij; e po kështu ai që ndodhet në ara, të mos kthehet prapa.
At that day hee that is vpon the house, and his stuffe in ye house, let him not come downe to take it out: and he that is in the fielde likewise, let him not turne backe to that he left behinde.
32 Kujtoni gruan e Lotit.
Remember Lots wife.
33 Ai që do të kërkojë të shpëtojë jetën e vet, do ta humbasë; por ai që do ta humbasë, do ta shpëtojë.
Whosoeuer will seeke to saue his soule, shall loose it: and whosoeuer shall loose it, shall get it life.
34 Unë po ju them: atë natë dy veta do të jenë në një shtrat; njëri do të merret dhe tjetri do të lihet.
I tell you, in that night there shall be two in one bed: the one shalbe receiued, and the other shalbe left.
35 Dy gra do të bluajnë bashkë; njëra do të merret e tjetra do të lihet.
Two women shalbe grinding together: the one shalbe taken, and the other shalbe left.
36 Dy burra do të jenë në ara: njëri do të merret e tjetri do të lihet”.
Two shalbe in the fielde: one shalbe receiued, and another shalbe left.
37 Atëherë dishepujt u përgjigjën dhe thanë: “Ku, o Zot?” Dhe ai u tha atyre: “Ku të jetë trupi, atje do të mblidhen shqiponjat”.
And they answered, and saide to him, Where, Lord? And he said vnto them, Wheresoeuer the body is, thither shall also the eagles bee gathered together.
